Where's sophie...

Patrick
23-07-2013, 05:37 PM
Reason I didn't include Sophie is because she's pointless even voting for - plus if we're getting rid of a bore, Sam should go.

He's the most likely to win the whole show. Sophie isn't. Sam stays, he will win. Period.

Sam is going nowhere where as if you voted for Sophie she has a better chance of leaving over Dan than Sam has.
You've got it ass-backwards!

Patrick
23-07-2013, 05:42 PM
What's sad aswell, is that if he does win - it'll be for no other reason other than:

1. He's deaf.

2. He apparently looks like Harry Styles.

Absolutely nothing to do with his contributions to the series or how good of a housemate he has been. I just think it's about time the public stop rewarding bores. Enough's enough.

I'm not voting as none of the nominees are so important to my enjoyment of the show that I don't feel compelled to, however if I was voting, I'd vote out Sam.

He's the biggest threat to Gina/Dexter/Dan winning and yet he's done absolutely nothing.

Shaun

No, no I wouldn't rather sit and watch an hour of someone that pisses me off. I can do more than that just logging into here...

I don't think Sam will win (nor do I want him to), I just think he's a better person than Dan. I think Gina and Dexter are pretty bad people but I wouldn't say they bore me - Dan does. He's always second-guessing everything, he's always whining about everyone and claiming people are either fake, actors or on a secret mission. He's too wrapped up in the twists of the show to be interesting (and to be fair that's probably the show's fault more than his, by throwing in a "twist" every couple of days).

I just hate his voice really. I wouldn't mind whoever is evicted, but I want Dan out (of the competition) the most.

You have the right idea.

That's exactly why I'm voting - because I don't think he'll be up again at all, if he survives this week; he'll sail through tot he final; unless the whole house went up and they did a Double Eviction with a V.T.S then he'd be ******ed.

But they won't do that, and he'll win. Robbing Dexter or Gina of their crown.

You think Dan makes the show entertaining? You're way off. He wont be missed at all. 3 yawnfests are up. Gina & Dexter are all that matter.

Jack_
23-07-2013, 05:52 PM
Obviously the second option

The one and only opportunity we're going to get to get a bore out that could rob the rightful victory of an entertaining housemate like Dexter and Gina and people aren't going to take it? This is exactly what's wrong with vote to evict, people lose sight of golden opportunities like this and resort to 'well they're kinda annoying so I'm gonna vote them out', it evokes hatred and anyone that dares to say anything is ****ed, it's counter productive

Jack_
23-07-2013, 06:01 PM
Yeah I do think it's a fair point that Sophie probably has more chance of going than Sam, she's been featured a lot more in the last week and I could name more things she's done than Sam, plus he has the teenage girl vote and she's a woman so automatically she stands less of a chance

The one thing we don't want to happen is for the votes to split, because then Dan will definitely be going. But that's what will happen anyway so

I'm just so bored of seeing the most obnoxious and deplorable of people defended all the time on here in the name of 'entertainment'. You and I know that I've got a pretty good gauge of entertainment, when my favourite all-time housemates are Makosi, Kemal, Derek, Aisleyne, Richard...

It happened straight away in week 1 with Sallie, who was so revoltingly in love with her own "realness" (which is really just a modern-day zelebrity word for 'being a prick') that she failed to realise that starting 20 arguments in your first week will make the housemates (and the public) hate you, and will get you evicted. But yet again there were cries of "it's not fair!" and "this series is over!" (and yet you all still watch...) when she was evicted.

There have been maybe one or two winners that have really matched up to whatever the forums describe as the most entertaining. So why are you still fighting for it? You're supposed to enjoy the series, not give the winner your personal blessing.

I couldn't agree any more to this but unfortunately Shaun you're wasting your time. Some people just don't see that it's actually possible for some people to like people who aren't Dexter or Gina. And anybody who wants Dan out isn't a real fan of the show because he's 'entertaining' and Sam and Sophie apparently aren't.

Kris

I have never understood why the horrible housemates were considered the most entertaining. I do not in any way enjoy watching horrible people. The Pratts were so uncomfortable to watch and I would have hated to see them win.

For me it's more about true, nice people who deserve to win and are much better role models to young viewers.

So much truth tea in that first sentence. Being "a big character" (the excuse for anyone who is a complete asshole, no matter how enjoyable or not) doesn't automatically make you a HM worth saving and rooting for. You have to look at the quality of what they bring and not just the quantity (the paradox of "Aaron and Speidi brought so much, they're definitely two of the best ever!" when they contributed to BB12 and CBB11, two series that are universally regarded as the worst, is still baffling to this day to me). I'm sure someone's going to come and tell me how I'm watching the show wrong because ~talking points~ are what keep it going and blahblahblah, but lolwut @ there being a right and wrong way to watch Big ****ing Brother.

Well then I'm sorry, but you're thick. Don't take that personally - but like I just said, the bookies very rarely ever predict anything right with Big Brother.

If people 'just listened' to the bookies back in 2009, Marcus would of been out alot faster than he stayed, if people had of listened to the bookies Samanda would of won BB8 by a mile, if people had of listened to the bookies Alex was going to win BB12 by a country mile.

The bookies haven't a clue - and voting, based on whatever odds they're giving out is ridiculous.

They clearly didn't save their series if they're still regarded as the worst ever. BB12 was all about Aaron and it's the worst regular series. CBB11 was all about Speidi and it's the worst celebrity series. These aren't coincidences.
