Hazel character assasination on BBBOTS

I was dumbfounded at the way the panel and the audience turned on Hazel on BBBOTS tonight. So much so I just turned it off. They all said she is playing a game and scheming and her friendship with Charlie is just to get her places likewise she is talking to Gina again as Gina is popular. Hazel has been friends with Charlie since week 2 once she found a connection with her.

Even when Jackie was in the house Hazel was part of the group with herself and Charlie, Dan and sometimes the twins. Hazel never had a problem with Gina until Gina came out all guns blazing when she saw the VT and called Hazel fake. Even though she has badmouthed Hazel I have never seen Hazel bitch about Gina only wonder why she doesnt like her. I think Emma handled the situation very badly as usually when people are slagging off a housemate she askes is there anyone who thinks they are genuine or that the friendship is genuine etc.

She just let them all slate Hazel. For someone to say she played Daley and almost say that the whole Daley situation was Hazels fault was just uncalled for. Callum has been sneaky and scheming and Dexter has been playing a huge game. Gina has been spitting fire about Hazel specially when Gina and Dexter were in the safe house and she was calling her fake, a cow, a horrible bitch etc. The twins have been bitching about everything and everyone likewise Dan. Sophie has been spouting stupidly to anyone who will listen. Sam has been like wallpaper. Charlie has been acting the silly little girl torn between two men and secretly loving the attention She is 27 for Gods sake.

Yet its Hazel Hazel Hazel everyone is gunning for. Tonights show was an absolute farce it could be subtitled the Hazel is a fake stupid bitch scheming cow and player show. Totally totally fed up. I guess all the Hazel haters will add a comment now :conf:

I think BOTS was quite representative in that respect. It's only on forums like TiBB that anyone thinks she's a poor "abused" woman. In the real world they think she's a scheming bitch!

If the main house was up truly for eviction, Hazel would very likely be voted out with about 80-90% of the vote and exit to the loudest boos of the series.

I'm a fan of Hazel and agree with you she's being treated really badly by pretty much everybody. I think it's partly due to women/girls (like Gina) who don't like her because she's pretty (shock!! horror!!) and women/girls as well as irresponsible men who just want to blame Hazel for the way Daley behaved because they think men can do no wrong-they're totally blinkered not to mention dumber than mud.

I think the problem is she is easily bored, and is a bit mischievous / likes to stir up entertainment, actually just like Gina and Dexter, but holds back on it because she doesnt want to be branded a bitch. But it slips out occasionally and - because she hasn't been upfront about it with the AUDIENCE from the start, that's exactly what's happened and she's been branded the bitch.

Doesn't hurt that she's made herself into this unrealistic posh "character", too. Makes it more pantomime, which people can get on board with.

Hazel is actually quite self-conscious and insecure in many ways. She's not sure of herself like Gina is and she's not just letting her personality out, just little pent up bits of it so very few people "get" her. People also find this insecurity hard to believe as she clearly knows she can "use" her looks and only fat, spotty people can be insecure obviously...

The truth is people who are this image conscious are almost always quite unsure of themselves as personalities. It's a shame because she's actually quite clever and funny when she's not holding back (when she's had a drink, basically).

And what do we do with insecure people? ... Kick them out ASAP and boo them until they curl up in the fetal position, of course!

She will get boo'd and I think it will visibly affect her more than anyone else this season. She'll look scared and upset and try her best to pretend she doesn't care... And the public will lap it up, say shes only scared that she won't get work, and focus on her pretending not to care.

Hazel has been friends with both Charlie and Dan from the beginning. Well in Charlies case it was probably week 2 as she found it hard to connect with ehr. She was saying last night that Charlie should think before she speaks as sometimes her comments can be misconstued. And she has also said that to Charlie to her face. Charlie at some stage said something about Hazel also behind her back but none of them ever bitched about each other. She took a bit of time out from Dan but they never fell out and are still very close. Before this season the presenters were MUCH more balanced and went to great lengths to make sure both sides were represented. Any time some one bashed Aaron on BOTS Emma would say 'to fair to Aaron etc...'

Now housemates really ARE being allowed to be bashed. The presenters seem to be actively encourged to have bias this seaon which REALLY does my nut in. Last year Emma and Brian were rocks of parental love for all the housemates. The slating that Callum got from the panel, the studio audience AND AJ and Ian Lee this weekend was revolting. This season the presenters are more like random punters and have very little control over the panels etc and a LOT less respect for the housemates in general!

I had no expectations for AJ and Rylan but EMMA has really disappointed me this year :(

Thanks Toy Soldier for the confirmation.I try to watch and listen from a neutral point of view,and tend not to twist facts to suit my opinions.I don't love or hate anyone in the house,but I can't stand the bias shown by BBBOTS and the editing of BB in general!

Well, who can argue with logic like that? I suppose you're right. If all hazels are bitches and some bitches are hazels, then indeed, it must be true that hazel is a bitch! I'll have to draw up a syllogism to be sure, but it definitely seems correct.
