She compliments everybody. You may notice it more if she was to compliment the twins or Daley but get over it. She'd do it to Gina and Dexter the very second after somebody says anything bad about them because there has to be a balanced argument.

If nobody in the audience is prepared to balance out the love/hate for a housemate she has to do it herself.

Any opinions disagreeing with this are incorrect. Byeeeeeeeee.

Probably loathes Hazel with a vengeance like, seemingly, the great majority of women!

She does as good a job as any but she is definitely biased toward her favourite and this year she's letting us know who she doesn't like as well. On Wednesday the horrendous Michelle Gayle was on; the first topic was the (boring) love triangle but Emma allowed Gayle to go on about the Hazel/ Daley situation with very little prompting. Gayle made the comment that Hazel pulled down Daleys short and Hazel apparently did an number of other things, she didn't criticise Daley at all or mention the hand around the throat or pinning to the bed or the head-butting motion. Emma didn't correct her. Rodrigo from BB10 last week called Hazel a ***** and Emma said it was 'slightly' strong. I don't see much balance from Emma at all tbh.

Emma needs to be taken aside and told she's doing OK but there is room for improvement, viz bias and talking too much.

She did sorta stick up for Hazel the other day when they had that awful black woman on the panel who said "she got Daley kicked out" and Emma said "it wasn't Hazel who got him kicked out, Daley's actions did that for him" or something like that, and on the same episode they had the guy in the audience who really defended Hazel and Emma said how nice it was for that to come from a man

In general I agree she's shown a bit too much favouritism this year and been too harsh on Hazel, but I did respect her a bit more after that

Emma's always played devil's advocate on BOTS with both the audience and panel, if someone argues a point she'll raise the counter argument, which is exactly what a presenter should do. It's not a 'she only does it for certain people' she does it for everyone...maybe not in equal measures but she does do it for everyone regardless.

Now I'm not going to sit here and pretend she isn't biased in some way and doesn't ever let her opinions be known because she makes it quite obvious and even states as much sometimes but I seem to be the only one that actually enjoys that? I like hearing what her opinions are and what she thinks of the housemates, she's a BB superfan like myself and I find it intriguing getting to hear what she thinks. I don't think it's a bad thing either, BOTS is a show about opinions and I don't see why every so often she shouldn't be allowed to give hers. Quite frankly, if anyone lets someone else dictate their opinions on the show just because she's the presenter then they're an idiot.

I might have a problem if when she spoke to the house she went 'Callum, Charlie, Hazel the ****ing slut ******, Dexter and Gina...the lines are closed...', but she doesn't. It's a massive fuss over nothing if you ask me.

Emma is Queen and y'all will bow down to her :worship:

She has yet to compliment Hazel

In last night's BOTS she (reluctantly) described Hazel as "ballsy", but she's made her bias against her perfectly clear in many ways. She certainly doesn't "balance out" the dislike of Hazel like she does with others, usually she offers and alternative viewpoint like "But maybe Wolfie is just feeling insecure?" or something along those lines. She doesn't with Hazel, she lets the audience spit some bile about her and then just goes "Hee hee hee right and moving on..."

I read her defending herself over the Daley interview in the news, stating that it's their responsibility to "look after the mental wellbeing of people who leave" especially when something big has happened. So... I'll reserve full judgement for when Hazel is evicted. If she's harsh / scathing / probing with her questions and doesn't offer a friendly face for Hazel, then she is a liar and a hypocrite. So, we'll see.

But if anyone tries to criticise the twins, they get shut down by Emma immediately!

Her description of them as "so sweet" will stick in my mind...........

I liked it when Russell Brand did it on Big Mouth, because Brand is actually quite an intelligent and insightful guy who had a lot of very interesting observations to make.

Emma... well... isn't? She's bubbly and fun which is great but she's not the sharpest tac in the box. She's marginally above the intelligence levels of the ridiculous BOTS audience, but is more often than not trailing behind the majority of the panel of C or D list celebs. Which is worrying.

Her description of them as "so sweet" will stick in my mind...........This. She wont have a bad word said about her fave but the others seem to be fair game. She's as good as anyone else they 'd get however I dont think Jamie east or Alice Levine would have been so openly biased against Hazel.

I do quite like Emma, but she is very biased and her one-sided stance on Hazel have left me feeling quite let down by her. Especially remembering the heart-felt, understanding, touchy-feely interview she gave Daley.

Vicky.

The thing is though, the only way for her to be truly unbiased really, is for her to not watch the show(Hello George Lamb). Yes, she could hide her bias more than she does, but shes always going to have favourites.

Having said that, Davina way much worse. Though I may change my mind depending on how Emma handles Hazels eviction interview.

Precisely; if BB expect control over h.m's then the flip-side of that is duty of care. If/when Hazel's evicted next week and Emma's not supportive when she comes out to the mob, and if her interview seems overly critical, harsh, unfair, biased, I'll be tweeting Emma like mad to tear a strip off.

Did I miss the night he co-hosted?

I thought I had seen all this season's shows!

And why would somebody as big as Russell Brand come and host BOTS for one night?!? When did I miss him hosting?

I'll just say this about Emma, and no more....she is extremely pleasant on the eye and does her job well!...
But for me, she exudes an air of an overly confident and ambitious person that would cut your throat to climb on to the next rung of the ladder...[something that I can't warm to!] :nono:
But as I say, she is good at her job! :spin:

Nope. You see, I've learned from reading this forum that if Emma (or her fill in) says ANYTHING positive about a HM I don't like she is biasED and unprofessional. Likewise, if she is not 100 per cent positve about the HM I happen to like, again, she is biasED and unprofessional.

If one person in the BBOTS audience says anything against the HM I like, then its obvious that the producers are working behind the scenes to get my fave out. If a panel member (who more than likely doesnt actually watch the show) says anythign positive about a HM I dont like, then its obvious the show is being fixed against my fave.

I mean its all SO obvious!:spin:

It wouldn't surprise me if she treated her like one when she comes out too.

Trouble with all the presenters is that they want to be star of the show.

I would exclude Brian from that; he was just unsuited.

Russel Brand is a bit of a live or hate character to be fair, I really like him... But either way, it's indisputable that his IQ is probably double that of Emma Willis. He viewed the whole thing as a satire and was completely impartial, it was very refreshing.

Plus his bit about Richard (i think? Bald gay guy?) And the "come on, vogue" dance was the funniest 2 minutes of BB history in my opinion. Brilliant :D

Emma is doing as good a job as one might expect. Presenters are human and she is no worse than Dermot was when it comes to bias.........

Russell Brand set a benchmark that's never been bettered. They've all been lightweights since. Don't think much of Emma, largely because she seems to get the wrong end of the stick all of the time by not listening to the answers to her questions. I don't know why she wears such cheap clothes, the series budget must be about 200 quid.

I loved Emma up to this series but the presenting has been pretty diluted this time arould. The phrase 'they are all my children' has been killed along with any glimmer of impartiality and a great deal of control over the audience and panel.

Lol! I just found him a bit repellent and the humour was forced. But he thought he was funny (a bit like the loathsome Twins) and that was the only mildly amusing thing.

Rylan tries to be a gay toned-down version of Brand, I sometimes think.
