Will the other hm's tell him there were "Sam Out" chants, or will they keep it from him?

Vicky.

IMO it would be patronizing as **** to not tell him what they really heard.

I know they will be lying to be kind, but still.

He couldn't even hear Emma say he was up, he had to ask them to explain it.

He should be told the truth.

He should, but I could see Callum wanting to sugar coat it or keep it from him, too.

Sam has lost only 30% of his hearing, he heard alright!

WHere did you get that idea? He was born with only 20% hearing, and his hearing aids only work with that 20%, if he can't lipread, he needs near silence to hear one voice.

The only reason Dan is out is because it was vote to evict. A vote to save he would have walked it.

You must know a different Sam than the one in the house...

ABOUT SAM
Welsh, funny and warm, Sam is an ambitious cheeky chap who has represented Great Britain and Wales as part of their deaf football teams. Sam was born with 70-80% hearing loss, which his parents discovered when he was 3 years old. He wants to become a role model to deaf kids who are too ashamed to wear their hearing aids. He enjoys flirting with the ladies at work and compares himself to Del Boy from Only Fools and Horses.

When asked how his hearing will affect him in the house, he says he can’t pronounce words very well and finds it annoying that his speech isn’t perfect, although it has improved immensely through speech therapy. Sam doesn’t always hear conversations correctly and will give an answer that doesn’t have anything to do with the question which can be amusing.

From the website.

Thats funny because if you go to the deal or no deal website which Sam appeared on he says he discovered he had hearing problems at the age of 7.

Johnnyuk123
26-07-2013, 09:47 PM
And since they discovered his hearing problems they have now with the help of hearing aids reduced it to 30%.

That is wrong. Emma said the other day he had lost 90% in one ear and 80% in the other.

He has 30% hearing before hearing aids.

The trouble with hearing aids they are difficult in group talk and noise. You struggle to pick out one voice.

One of the twins said to Sam it was one woman. Callum lied to him saying to was muted cheers.

Charlie was honest with him saying he got some boos.

Charlie has done the decent thing and been honest with him, as she would be with any other HM. Calllum & the Twin are treating Sam different.

I would have sworn they were chanting "get Dan out!!!"

They've all watched BB themselves anyway so you'd think they'd be fully aware about how wrong the eviction mob are with their opinions anyway! They'd be far better off sticking with the website survey results as they were pretty much spot-on to what the bookies winners odds order is now.

It is definitely "Get Sam out"

He got mostly cheers so I don't see the issue in Callum not telling Sam so he won't dwell on it all week.

It's the same as Dan being protective over Hazel about the tennis ball.

Well since the people here can't agree to what they heard, it's very possible Callum was just going by what he heard.

Re-listened and def heard Dan lol, I can hear the pronunciation of the N at the end especially at 49.54. Maybe there was a bit of both? Also the crowd always seem to get it right and the person they chant seems to go.

Sam couldn't hear, he looked so confused.

And yes, they should be honest with him, better for him to know, not wrapped up in cotton wool. I'm sure Sam himself would prefer to be told, Charlie did the right thing.
