Dan's Eviction a Good Thing?

I either want Dexter or Gina to win and felt that Dan was the biggest threat to that happening, so now he's out does anyone agree that their main competition has gone??

And I don't get how anyone can want someone who has done stuff for the series to be evicted over two people that have done **** all, but I will let Sam off more as at least his actually likeable, wtf with Sophie!? I want Dexter to win & Gina to come second but I am really sad Dan has gone. Dan wasn't their main competition, Sam is. I really do not want Sam to win but I think he will, he's a nice young lad but he has brought nothing to the house for me. As much as I love Dan, I actually want Gina to win. Dan became a complainer and became too serious. Gina has been nothing but entertaining since the day she walked in. She is honest, sassy and engages in all tasks with willingness.

In all honesty I would have been happy with any of the three going, but not sure how to feel about Dan's exit. No matter what Dan may say he never saw that coming. So being truthful in that he hoped he'd stay and also miffed because he was so sure he would be there for the final.

I was thinking good for him admitting he didn't want to be out yet if only a few more would admit to it, but also thinking over arrogance that he felt he would be there over others and probably make the final and win re his manner. And there lies the trouble with Dan I think, always too overbearing to the other housemates and always over confident in how he was coming across. It was his downfall imo.

I missed the Friday and Sat. shows as I was at a weekend seminar, but I've finally caught up, so that's why I'm reading and replying in a redundant thread!
I have to say that I don't agree with what you have said here at all.
If Dan was so mean and unlikable in the house, how come every single HM regretted him going, said how much they liked him and how he would be missed? We haven't seen that for any other HM that went out at all. He was obviously greatly liked.
I don't know how some people come to the conclusions they do when the truth is so clear for all to see.
As for who is the biggest threat to Gina, I think it is Dexter, then Sophie.

I think it's a bit sad really, I hate this phase we go through when all the boring housemates get left in just to be evicted in the final leaving us with a dull final week, when really we want the final week to be the best of all!

I thought their was a big clash building up between Dan and Callum that would have been explosive, but we missed out instead to more Callum and Sam send me to sleep time! thank god for sky+, I have to fast forward!

Well we have had the long awaited clash between Dexter and Callum on LF tonight. Wonder how much they will show on the highlights show?

Trouble was, Dexter was a bit pissed and Callum was mildly amused at Dexter's ramblings. :D

Just to be clear: I wasn't saying there was less bitching in the house. But when a group of housemates gather together for a bitch/gossip it seems less vicious than when Dan was involved. There were two videos posted recently, one showing the group bitching about Callum and one showing Callum and one of the twins bitching about Dexter's theories. neither of those were as vicious and nasty as the bitching sessions with Dan.

I see where you are coming from however I voted for Dan to be evicted because I think he has served his purpose. I know Sam & Sophie are more boring than Dan but if one of them left it affects nothing in the house. Dan is gone and the house dynamics will change...............His followers are going to have to think for themselves. Dan wanted his order and I want disorder! Dan was great value when he had his meltdown when he knew he was nominated but since then he has been a controlling whining bore. Dan is not the first and won't be the last Big Brother contestant to get the push without being nominated by his housemates. If his fan base was big enough one of the other two would have gone. Dan can be his bitchy self outside the house now. :joker::wavey:

Tbf Dan lost to them two because he was the only one with a hate base in that 3 way, if it was just one on one I think Dan would've stayed.

He wasn't camp all the time. In fact he wasn't the least bit camp during his post eviction interview. Not quite sure why you feel the police should be filtering out men who are camp either.

On BOTS tonight behavioral expert Pam Spurrs said that Dan has more charisma in his little finger than most of the HM's have in their whole bodies. :dance: How right she is!

The loss of Dan from the house has been mentioned and regretted on every single episode since Friday. Usually the evicted HM isn't even mentioned after the first half hour of the next highlights. He was a massive character and loved in the house and I have to laugh at those who are delusional about that. :tongue:

I'm still talking about him because he is still being talked about - inside the house and out. :hugesmile:
