Ditto, I've ranted so much about Hazel, but Charlie has done my head in for ages now and is honestly becoming a really annoying housemate and this just topped it off.

Hazel absolutely.
Hazel is not even someone I'd wish to meet, but I can recognise her better qualities as well as her not so good ones. One very tough cookie!

Charlie attacked Hazel with a cucumber and almost blinded the Irish model.

It's the monotone, drawling way she rambles on. I'd have to hold a pillow over her.
I'm surprised more housemates haven't backed up the mention of Charlie's drinking after the way she suddenly snapped at Callum last week.
It's obvious why Jackie was as overbearing with her as she was, the girl has no self control.

Charlie is incredibly immature for a woman of 27. Can't help feeling the mother is to blame to some extent.
Even the teenage twins can show more maturity (well sometimes!)

Is there anywhere I can see Charlie v. Hazel/ cucumber gate?

For once I am with Hazel - Charlie drinks too much and makes such a twit of herself when she does. On and on and on and on...and on...Why do drunken people repeat themselves so much? We heard and understood first time...

team hazel. I think charlie overdoes the alcohol and gets a bit too offbeat for her own good as she always seems to land herself in trouble. or actually I think she does that without the drink too  she just has a way with words maybe.

Yes... I can't work out whether Jackie is a bit overbearing / nervous / controlling because Charlie is how she is (quite immature, a bit of a teenager really) OR... If Charlie is stuck in that teenage phase because Jackie won't let her spread her wings and soar into adulthood. Soar...

Ick, clicked the wrong one, Hazel for this one, Charlie needs to grow the hell up.

I'm kinda hoping Charlie does a bit more foot in mouth! :D
But unless I'm mistaken, it's always another woman who has to suffer it - never one of the men?

Team Hazel, Charlie has the cheek to get upset for being called aggressive yet she can call somebody an escort & blame another person for the death of their ex.

Team Hazel. There was no need for Charlie to mention Daley at all.
Team Hazel. There was no need for Charlie to mention Daley at all.
Even if she'd never mentioned Daley at all, there was no reason for the drunken idjit to follow Hazel around from room to room and nag her about it.

Charlie would have learned control and many more things without an overbearing mother. She is Charlies main problem. Has this woman now aged 27, EVER been allowed to make her own decisions for anything? All I saw when J was in the house was her constant demeaning attitude towards Charlie. Jackie seems to live her life through her adult off-spring,she said herself she cant bear to be apart from them and has to "keep herself busy" when she is ????? Control and neediness in the extreme.

Yes , she is quite capable of repeatedly boring us all to death without drink but with it AAGH !!! Imagine living with that !!

We heard and understood first time...Callum told CHarlie she was right so she probably felt she had some backup. He then weaseled out of it later. The smart HM's ie Gina, Dexter made sure they stayed out of it.

Not really a good situation to judge off. In the house they lived on top of each other 24/7, as Jackie said, in the real world they don't see each other all the time, they have their own lives. Jackie doesn't interfere in Charlie's love life or friendships, but the BB house isn't a comparable situation.
But if we were to take her as an overbearing mother, it's like the chicken and the egg. We don't know these people in the real world so we don't know which caused the other. Charlie's "stuff" that she went through may have stunted her personal growth causing Jackie to be overbearing, or Jackie's overbearing could have stifled Charlie. We'll never know for sure.

I don't believe for one second that Jackie doesn't interfere in every aspect of Charlies life . She knows best on every topic and is often quite aggressive to prove her point. Her passive aggressive behaviour with Callum was ridiculous. Observing them together in the house led me to my conclusions that's all I can say. I know that half heartedly Charlie agreed with her mother on the boyfriend interference, but is there ever any point in anyone disagreeing with Jackie. That usually led to dismissive and cold response. It was very telling that a woman of 59 cannot be apart from her adult off-spring, one or the other of them.

well I understand where Charlie is coming from. Hazel forced cucumber fellatio on her, didn't get a warning, and charlie "accidentally" poked Hazel in the eye and she gets called up to the diary room. Charlie was panicking about what could have possibly been said in the DR and being in trouble. she likened the situation to daely because as far as they all know before they went in the safe house they were all flirty flirty, with hazel flirty stroking his arm and smiling "we're gonna be in trouble in there" and the next they're told daley has been removed due to some aggressive act.
Definitely no team hazel, don't know if i'm team charlie though.

Charlie could maybe, in her tipsy state, see herself being ejected from the house - just as Daley was after a chat between Hazel and BB.

They're locked in a house 24/7, of course they would be around each other. Who said she can't be apart from them? She made friends of her own in the house too.
Throwing projections about how you think they live their regular life is ridiculous. BB is far from a regular situation. Many housemates have said they found themselves acting out of the ordinary in that situation.

..didn't Jackie say that this would be the longest they had spent together for a very long time..I don't think they see much of each other outside the house and although Jackie may have a strong personality she said they argued all the time which to me means that Charlie hasn't allowed her mum to control her in any way...
