And two very worthy Welsh winners there in my opinion. Snoreworthy Sam doesn't deserve to win over the likes of more entertaining housemates by far just because he is Welsh. I like Helen, but silly, silly, remarks from her on why she is supporting Sam other than that reasoning.

Under the circumstances with Sam's condition i think that's a bit harsh, he just needs a little more time to intergrate with the group. He is coming out of his shell more now with fewer housemates around.

:rolleyes: I cannot stand wanting someone to win just because of the country they come from. It's just incredibly stupid - you don't control the place you're born and it just reeks of ethnocentrism. It's no different from saying you want a HM to win for any other equally meaningless reason like gender or race. Also Helen is just awful.

When I saw Helen today, I got weirdly smiley. As BB2 was the first I saw live (i watched BB1 a couple of years back), Helen was the first HM in the history of BB that I supported.

She was great! I remember how popular the series was, I was going on holiday on the final night, well the flight was at around midnight, but everyone was in the airport gate watching BB :lovedup: There were around 100 crowded around the gate watching the TV screen and some people were shouting Helen and Brian when Davina went to the house to deliver the winners name. And there were cheers when Brian was announced as winner. Just incredible that so many people were engrossed in the final when they were getting ready to go on holiday :D

if she wants to back a fellow welshperson that's her choice.....wales is a tiny country and everyone seems to know everyone and be somehow related (not in a deliverance kind of way though lol) I don't back a person just because he or she is from a place....but at the same time I think it shows great pride and patriotism, something the welsh are famed for
sam is a good bloke overall doing a remarkable thing imo Helen in from neath which is just 18 miles from sams hometown in Llanelli so its obvious there will be a connection....who knows they may even hook him
