He's by no means my favourite, but I find myself liking him more and more after every show

Definately, I have, I am fed up of Dexter belittling him and winding him up, I really dislike wind up merchants.

THIS
The public are utter suckers for total cringe inducing losers with no real personalities of their own if they play the sympathy card (See Denise Welch for proof of this)
'oh boo hoo I have the weight of the world on my shoulders'
Seriously I would slap his overly sincere face into next week if he offered me any of his 'wisdom' inbetween being a bad danny dyer rippoff.
Also has the phrase all mouth no trousers ever suited anyone more??
'Yeah wait and see Ill properly have a go at Dexter he wont know what hit him'
Yep he really showed dex what for tonight

I've liked him from very early on. Think I was the 4th fan in the original fan thread after Vanessa, Barker and Hadouken.
[Edit: Apologies HD and Locke were also earlier fans than me in the first thread.]
It's funny how Vanessa started that thread but dislikes him so much now. :joker:

I'm a Dexter supporter though, and have Dexter's back no matter what - but the Callum we're seeing now is just.. he's cringey, but in a funny way to watch.
The fact he tries too hard and still comes out looking like a prat makes him brilliant television, he's just got a creepy but endearing persona about him.

You lot are warming to a guy who constantly bitches and picks on a certain HM...listen to yourselves. lol
So Callum is a hero for bitching about Dexter but Dexter gets slated for standing his ground with Callum.? :joker:

Yep, he's a bit intense but there is no way he deserves the flak he gets in the house or on the forum.

In the first weeks I wanted him out, but all this crap with Dexter has totally turned him around in my eyes. I'm not only wanting him in the final, I want him to finish either 2nd or 1st.
Jake.

It changes everyday tbh.. sometimes I warm to him a lot, and others he puts me off.. but he is an interesting character

That happens me sometimes with housemates, I just go off them for some reason. Still liking Callum though. He is mega cheesy/cringey at times but I find him hilarious, and a nice very kind person really who probably wants to be liked and fit in. He's super emotional and he probably can't help that. :)

Callum is doing so well right now that i am convinced that at the school council parents meeting to decide if he is allowed to work in their school that he will win the parents and children over by performing a strip tease on the primary school stage to the parents and their children. Before stripping he will be throwing condoms out into the crowd which will seal the deal.

Have you watched him at all??
I mean seriously how could anyone like someone who sincerely sits and tells someone 'your amazing you will soar when you leave here.... you'll soar... soar'
Hes just so insincere and so cringe inducing, granted hes been decent TV at times but winner material... christ no
As for the bulls**t about not being confident around women, did nobody see him with those spray tan girls?? People on here have such short memories. Its easy to back somebody others hate (british love an underdog) but seriously hes painful to watch imagine living with him listening to his overly serious 'deep' chats all the time (which are about as deep as a puddle)

I'de rather have someone telling me i can soar than telling me they could ruin my effing life!!!

No he's still as awful as he was and would be a total bore without other HMs being there to give him storylines.
Yep, I love Callum. My favourite housemate in years.

I love Callum and he has a great chance of winning, there are still knives in the kitchen and the garden tools can cause some real damage if he intends to use them.

It doesn't even matter if Callum comes out to heavy boos cos at the rap party Charlie will be drunk and Callum will convince her he got cheers.

Sorry has he spent the last 5 weeks drunk then cause he comes out with s**t like that all the time. He doesnt talk to people in a normal organic way, he talks at them or advises them on stuff they often dont even ask him about.
Hes like the terrible bore at parties nobody wants to get stuck in the kitchen with. And tbh Id rather someone who clearly dislikes me be totally upfront than his bizarro brand of California style psychotwaddle.

But there are still kitchen knives and garden tools so by the final he might just be your only choice.

I wasn't fussed much one way or another but I've gone right off him the last two days. He seems to want to fill the void left by Dan and he's making his move with manic, blundering force. His lack of self-awareness is astounding.
Tozzie
28-07-2013, 11:55 PM
not really. I find him a bit strange for some reason that I cannot pinpoint. He's not coming across as a bad lad to me, just a little wierd, its a shame because I want to like him.

He's a decent bloke trying his best to be positive and empowering. I was a little unsure about him when he open face nommed Dexter but Dex has been a royal dickhead to him since:
A)'We want to rip each other's faces off' Dexter should have got a warning for that! If he had said 'I want to rip your face off' he would have for sure. He was being very clever with his wording so as not to get one.
B) Switching from Hazel/Jemima to Charlie. To be fair though he was desperate for a showmance from the start and didn't stand a chance with Hazel or Jem or Sallie. His 'dating coach' persona needed a lot of proping up and Charlie was the last single girl in there.
C) 'I was never gonna let Callum win. If he broke the glass I would have broken mine' in the rivals mini task. Petty to say the least.

poor guy, he became an outcast just by being a nice guy, what a world we live in?
on the other hand, dexter is horrible, mean, and backstabbing snake is still crawling around the house.

He comes across much better on the LF than on the highlight show.
Then again most of them do.
I dont like the characters BB has chosen for all of them when editing...

Callum is the main source of entertainment atm definitely.
BB would be quite dull if he wasn't in it right now.
Carrying the show in a way.
