Maybe he didn't :idc:
Plus even if he was lying I don't think he did it wil malicious intent, he probably didn't want Sam to have a bb experience like hazel's. wether lying or not was the right thing to do I really doubt he did it to be cruel.

Callum can't remember what he says in that house.
When Callum had his outburst with Jackie he said that it was him that came up with the phrase 'love triangle' however when he was speaking to Sam on Saturday night HL show he sadi about Dexter' Dexter is still in ,that little sh*t is still here. He tries to be everyone's friend ,cuddles you ,invites me to live with him. Cunning very cunning. He was the one who came up with the phrase 'Love triangle' very clever.
Callum uses Sam as voting fodder.

It was all cheers
There were boos for like half a second which carried on from Dans name and then they all stopped soon after to cheer.
Later it was literally two women near the microphone trying to start a getsamout chant but failed.

Wasn't just me that noticed then. I found it amusing.
Think the OP is referring to Callum saying that he himself got no boos, not what he told Sam

The noise from the crowd on eviction night is always going to cause a stir with the housemates, they're not always going to hear the right calls, especially when they're nervous of the eviction result.
There must be so much confusion or worry going through their minds that it probably will seem like a loud mix of cheers/boos and chants.
It wouldn't surprise me if they misheard what had been said outside.

Callum didn't get much boos either, the half in sync get hazel out chants barely stopped in time as he was first in alphabetical order.
Callum originally told 3 lies in succession - that there was a single woman booing Sam, that Dexter got nearly all boos, and that Callum got all cheers. He expanded on those lies later, including the "swearing on mum's life" bit, but he was blatantly misleading Sam about the crowd in general, to sway his opinion about different people.
