Surely in 13 years he must have had a sore throat or voice? This may be a silly thread but I do wonder if occasionally an impersonator has stood in for him.

Not silly, it's very interesting..I've never thought about it, but surely he must have had a stand in....I want to know now, the Come Dine With Me guy could do it :P

He must have used all the words in the world during the years and they would just cut and paste his lines from previous narratives. :hugesmile: That would be interesting...

But it's only about 10 weeks out of 52. And the total his voice is used per episode is probably less than 2 minutes.

I remember years ago, there was a Little Brother segment with him, and he said it was the best job in the world: decent pay, working less than half the year, and he only has to come in for 2 hours a day!
It does sound awesome.
