I tweeted BB a couple of days suggesting they give AJ early retirement, that Rylan can do their double act on his own, and that Iain can do the Saturday show on his own.

They can save some money that way as well.

I just noticed on tonight's show that she called Rylan 'Ryland'.

I know other people have done this but she should at least know the name of her co-presenter. There again, that would imply that she's aware of something other than herself...

I understand her perfectly. She just has a very pronounced Blackburn accent. I was raised in Bolton, so I'm accustomed to it.

Frankly it's rather nice, I think, to hear a proper northern accent on TV. Nowhere near enough of them for my liking.

I agree she sometimes stumbles over her lines, but she absolutely can and does speak properly. She just doesn't speak with an RP accent.

She is speaking English. We're just used to most of the people on tv having forms of southern accents. RP is essentially a Home Counties accent. Total cultural dominance.

AJ is pretty natural in front of the camera, and there's nothing wrong with her accent at all, but she's useless at interviewing. I really like Rylan, I'm surprised at how good he is tbh. I think Bryan would have done a lot better in the studio show, rather than on the live show - he's done studio shows before and was great, but I think he was overwhelmed by the crowd and seemed over-rehearsed and wooden. They should get rid of AJ and have Bryan and Rylan on alternate nights.
