View Full Version : Is it me or is this boring now

Im not sure whats missing, Id hate to think it was Dan but things in the house seem very samey at the moment.

The tasks/awards are all a bit naff, it feels like the housemates are just 'going through the motions' at times, as if there is only 1 week left instead of 4

Im even getting bored with hating people, so something really is wrong

Is it just me?

Nope, it's running out of steam. I feel the larger characters are beginning to show cracks and any slow burners there may have been have been evicted.

I'm still enjoying it, apart from the twins.

I do think that it has become samey. Callum and Dexter both fancy Charlie and detest each other. Wow. That is so fascinating.

A task being a thinly veiled excuse for drama (Hazel and Daley in the safehouse anyone?) and everybody taking sides.

I think there is too much of a negative atmosphere in the house, and we need some happy stuff so that it isn't all too boring and nasty.

Gotta be honest, it's running out of steam for me as well. Excited for CBB now, Charlotte Crosby is going to be an epic housemate imo ;)

I'm enjoying it too. But I'd be annoyed if the twins stay.

Yes the atmosphere is too negative. The moments of joy are not good enough as there are no real friendships in there. In most seasons there are real friendships that are made so when they talk together I'm happy to listen to their conversations. Here it just seems so pointless, insincere and calculated. In season 5 the house guests were at war which made the happy times so so sweet. Perhaps it was poor casting this time around.

I'm still enjoying it, but have to be honest don't think it's the same with Dan been evicted, I'm really annoyed with the fact that The Twins are still there, & likes of Jackie & Dan are gone, who were bigger characters, I'm hoping & praying The Twins go this week but looking at the odds it looks like its Callum who will be evicted, I so hope The Twins don't make the final, I will be so annoyed if that happens.

It always tends to get boring towards the end of the series.

The pack of housemates doesn't make it as exciting.

Since Dan went I find myself losing interest while watching unless something really attention - catching is going on, and those moments are few and far between. Dan (and Jackie too) brought an energy to the house that is missing for me.
The characters that are left are either not nice, negative, or boring - or a combination of all 3.

I agree with you about Dan & Jackie they did bring a lot to the house.

She's on Geordie Shore. Generally quite a little firecracker. Certainly not a big name celeb, if anything she's about as Z-list as you can get, but she's all for having a good time and should be a very entertaining housemate.

I always enjoy BB and never find it boring. If only Gina wasn't such a clear favourite to win.

I dont find it boring but it's gliding to an end for sure. That's to be expected so close to the finish. Last year felt different since there was a massive divde in the house and all the drama that followed that carriied right on to the bitter end. This year there is not a big divde between housemates, no massive conflicts and one very clear front runner.

Before you would miss a day and be sad now its like I couldnt give a damn. I think CBB is going to be great but I am so dissapointed with this series unlike any other series for a long time. It feels like the house is empty and the callum dexter thing is so boring to watch. They should have added another HM in by now aswell its all a bit stale.

Last year was actually awesome toward the end, one of my favourite years. And the HM line up was so good aswell where as this year there are so many floaters

Don't ever use the term "floaters" when talking about BBUK. Save that ****e for the US show :joker:

It's a bit too deep and serious for what is at the end of the day a gameshow. I detest this 'love triangle' bullsh*t! The animosity between the two lads is going too far, I'm not saying that their feelings are wrong, they can't help how they feel if they make each other upset or angry(because of their competitiveness not cos of Charlie), but I just don't like watching it. It's a bit much. Callum is still my favourite male though and I just wish all this competitiveness between them stops.
There can be a comical rivalry between housemates that makes good tv, or there can be an awkward, uncomfortable to watch rivalry and with the 2 lads it is the latter this year.

There are too many deep conversations which would actually be great if they were interesting but they are not. I hate Callum and Charlie's chats - they seem to always revolve about her 'learning to become an adult', and whether or not she trusts Callum's vt or not.
I hate Dexter's endless droning on about how he's on a 'personal journey', or his strengths and weaknesses vs Callum's strengths and weaknesses, or how he's 'man enough to admit' everything.

With these 3 people the conversations just get so bloody repetitive, and mind numbingly boring to listen to!!!
They are fine talking to different people. Charlie seems more normal and less whiney with Hazel, Callum has nice chats with the twins, Gina and Sam, and Dexter is much more likeable and amusing when chatting with Hazel or Gina.
I think Callum, Charlie, and Dexter may bring out the worst in each other.

So yeah, I wish there was some more light hearted fun in the house. :spin:

I really can't believe people are flipping out because some fake, idiotic, z-lister girl from *****ing Geordie Shore is supposedly going to be on CBB!!!:conf:

I only managed to endure a few episodes of Geordie Shore and that was only because the remote was on the other side of the room and i was way too *****ed-up at the time to think about getting up to change the channel.
It made Jersey Shore seem like a highbrow current affairs show in comparison. At least some of the guys on JS have likable personalities and can be funny whereas the cast of GS just came across as your typical brainless, un-educated, vain, self-obsessed fame *****s who are an embarrassment to the youth of the UK (and Newcastle in particular!).

Very sad indeed!:bored:

Who's flipping out? I even said she's about as Z-List as you can get. I'm also not condoning her behavior, or the behavior of that particular sect of British society. I just think she'll be good TV and a decent housemate.

That show has really gotten under your skin eh?

Dan leaving left a gaping hole. The (only) alpha male gone has left pale imitations to fight it out for top spot.
The conversations in there would drive me crazy. Too introspective, analysing, going round and round in circles. The show needed fresh blood about 3 weeks ago to change the dynamics and give the current resident lot a kick up the bum.
The Callum/Dexter thing is quite interesting but uncomfortable to watch. I am not sure I actually like any of the ones left. If I was trapped in a stuck lift with any of them, I would probably force the doors and jump! Oh well.
I will watch tonight and hope for some sparks but I have a feeling it'll be a damp squib.

OMG, that would be amazing if Charlotte from Geordie shore went on CBB, she'd get ejected though if she was anything like how she is on Geordie Shore
