View Full Version : Did Callum go to far in the task?

He dropped the cowboy accent straight away and starred a hole into Dexter with his serial killer eyes the whole time and went to a whole new low and brought his family up and used them against Dexter even though there is no prove of Dexter ever bringing up anything about Callum's family (even supported by Sophie in the Diary room today) Dexter's talk was more laid back and light hearted and he even stuck to the Devious Dexter character the whole time whilst doing it but Callum just went for the Jugular straight away like some crazed beast on Acid

He didn't even attempt to hide his burgeoning hatred.

I voted no by mistake haha
So -1 from the poll.
It was so strange. Diffidently took it too far.

Callum got very personal. Dexter tried to keep it funny and light hearted.

Yup. He got personal.

We have Gavs mum here who I was shusshing throughout..and she hasnt watched any BB this year and she said 'why does that man hate him so much'

So even to those who dont know the history or anything, it came across as utter hatred, not a task.

Or you could have said it was part of the task BB that was designed to wind up the housemates. This particular part of the task was that both Callum & Dexter were in battle to face off each other and they had to get into their opponents heads as they prepared to battle.

The battle itself continued throughout the night and both housemates had wound each other up.

Of course someone who hasn't watched the show won't understand what's going on, it doesn't mean that one housemate went too far, as it shows on here with various people having different opinions on the subject.

Callum seemed to fundamentally miss the point of the whole thing; trash talk is more about jokey put downs and puns, like Dexter's "you couldn't even pull a pint", not getting really serious and emotional

Even Sophie and the twins thought it was way too far - if they can notice something going on that's not food or gossip, it's pretty blatantly obvious.

Oddly enough, having watched the HL show from the start, she knew it was part of a task so I didn't have to explain that :joker:

Seemed to like it. She normally watches (at 59 years old :o ) but didnt for some reason this year. Its always on when shes ere but she talks over it. Tonight I had had enough and told her to button it (in nicer words) so I could actually watch it..

yes he bloody well did, he's ruined what had been a fun show and turned it into a personal vendetta because of his insecurities

Heh. I know, I just find it strange as I always considered BB to be..not cool for older people. I feel to old to watch at times considering the core audience now seems to be teens :p

Oh yes...

As I've grown up over the years, I now see the housemates as dirty spoilt brats, either that wasn't the case in the beginning with BB or I was much younger in my mind than I am today.

I am always shocked that the younger generation in there don't know how to boil and egg or wash their clothes. Though it's certainly a talking point with my mum.

I do enjoy talking with my mum & nan over the show, we just don't talk about the actions of some housemates like Kinga and Ashleigh giving Luke S a helping hand last year.

Remember way back when Dexter was actually trying to help Callum by advising him that his 'nice-guy act' was a little extreme, and Callum responded with "so shall I turn into the nasty guy now then?...because I can do that just as easily"....well, it took a while..but this is the result! ...and it aint pretty!! :nono:

I don't think he went too far, I just think he took it too seriously and embarrassed himself.

And Dex only said that to stop Callum being targetted off the others who were talking behind his back about it too. Oh how times have changed

What? Do you even remember the incident in question?

This was back when he apparently hung round groups and relayed messages back and forth. This was the only example I could ever think of of this behavior, and he only did it to help his (at the time) mate.

Although I fully expect now that I have explained this that its going to be 'so he is a snake?' again. Its just ridiculous.

Usually when people go too far they know what they're doing just not when to stop. I dunno if Callum knew what he was doing, he seemed to completely lose the plot, his eyes looked as if he was off in some dark little corner of his brain fighting imaginary baddies and giving them his 'now y'all done fu**ed up' speech.

Yes he used the task to pour out a load of foul bile in Dexter's direction when trash talk isn't personal or serious. Horrible person imo.
