View Full Version : Is Sam the new Callum?

I get the feeling he's trying to get rid of Dexter, because he's competition and he wants to win. Last night he was looking for an argument over a simple misunderstanding. Dexter better watch out. :suspect:

Dexter knows they don't like each other, but he still wants to clear the air. I don't know why he bothers with Sam. He's just Callum lapdog. He has no mind of him own.

Read between the lines....Dexter is setting him up with a passive aggressive assault, then it will escalate to an argument where poor Dexter is the downtrodden one. I cant believe people out there have not yet sussed Dexter, he has been doing this from day one. FFS he has this game play down to a tee. Last night we saw the 4th different girl on bots. For someone who has no friends, he certainly is popular on the outside. Watching her sitting there lying through her teeth about who is is on the outside was goading. He is in PR.....Bull****.....His PR company is 3 weeks old and has no trading value. He set it up before he went in. It wouldn't surprise me if he is paying these women to promote him.

Nothing wrong at all if Sam were to resemble Callum, they were close friends in the house.
If anyone however, was doing anything as to trying to turn others against someone it was Dexter in the task going on about how he would be nominating Sam.
It is in fact the other way round, Dexter is now determined to actually undermine Sam because Sam 'dared' to pull him up on his ignorance and bad manners.
Can't stand Sam at all, and yes he was and probably is still Callum's lapdog for want of a better word, but I don't think he is a very nice person in there off his own back. I like Dexter and would love to see him win or at least make the final, but all the housemates in there tell little porkies at times to try and stay in favour with the other housemates and avoid nominations and also hope the public don't pick up on any porkies, it's the name of the game. I think both Sam and Dexter didn't come off well in that convo. BB instigated it really and it wasn't even worth watching imo, it was boring as was the Sophie and Sam one. But then boring sums Sam up for me. It wouldn't surprise me if Callum had been grooming Sam when he managed to remove him from his backside, to try and wind Dexter up. There is no love lost between Dexter and Sam, and I hope Sam gets enough noms to be up this week alongside Dexter, then we will see how popular Sam really is. If Sam goes, good. If Dexter goes, so be it, he will have had a good few weeks in there and has many fans to come out to.

Sam was very rude last night and he knows it. He apologised to Dexter.

Trouble is, Callum was always apologising to Dexter, and didn't mean any of it, so I doubt Sam does either, having been a willing trainee of Callum's.

It was just a misundestanding, but Sam is out of order for jumping on Dexter throat and not giving him the chance to explain. He wasn't this rude to Sophie, only Dexter. :bored:

The only thing Sam cares about is Sam and the "image" he portrays on TV, that's why he attacked Sophie for "making me look like a dick on TV" he has only one goal (same as the others, really) and that is to pocket the loot. and he doesn't care how he gets it.
forget all that crap about wanting to be a role model, he wants the MONEY!
He has just woken from his 8 weeks of slumber and realised that it is time he started stirring some **** to get more airtime before he trousers what he came in for.
A really nasty piece of work, as you'll see.

When Dexter said about Sam's saying words to that effect of 'Every hole 's a goal', I can quite believe Sam is bit inappropriate with women, like it is his God given right to act or be that way. It does show disrespect for women.

In the Magician task where I expect BB coached Dexter to say certain quotes from the Diary Room for his magic act, I noticed when Dexter gave Sam the coal. I might have quoted it wrong and so apologise if I have, so rather than take my word for it, it might be best to watch the youtube in the youtube thread, incase I have, as I was watching a few youtubes one after the other to catch up.

I doubt Sam has any worries at all as to Dexter being competition, Sam survived last week an eviction against one of the biggest characters in the house, Dexter this week went through to the last period of the eviction process.
Sam also had no fear at all in telling Dexter what he thought as to his bad manners and ignorance and things he had said and the way he said them to Callum too.
Dexter got boos from the crowd last night, for all Sam may know it could have been a close call who went between Dexter and Callum.
I see nothing that happened in this eviction that anyone in the house need particularly, on the surface, worry to as to Dexter now, he could well have been the 2nd choice to go with the public had Callum not been up for all any of us know.

What was his other memorable quote? He is alleged to have said, when Gina was on the knife thrower's wheel, " Show him your gash" Can't say I heard it myself, so it might not be a true quote.

he isn't siting there thinking i want to enjoy the show he is just thinking how can i win who else has a chance.

I can't take it any more...does no one here ever leave their houses? Those comments are inappropriate? It's just lad chat!! Not particularly clever but what you would hear in a pub every night of the week...it is funny that this Sam hate started the second callum left. People also make out that looking at the girls in the shower is inappropriate? They are in the middle of the ****ing garden....it's not like there is a peephole. I've said it before, if there were attractive people in there and you were sat with your mates you wouldn't comment??.
I suppose if dexter made similar comments they would be hilarious and all said because he is sooo funny and no malice in him???

When Sam and Callum were peeping out Hazel in the shower they did what 100 percent of men in the world would've done. Hazel is very attractive so if they didn't look at her in the shower I would've thought they were weird for that instead. If Dexter had done that Dexter fans would've made a billion threads about how he's so cool and fun loving. But since it was Sam and Callum they are creepy. I guess any normal man is creepy because they would've done the same.

sam has his some funny moments, maybe a bit boring compared to some big characters, but he's a genuine nice guy who has done nothing wrong, it's dexter and sophie got caught bitching behind his back, sophie is the dullest and the most negative housemate ever! and yes, dexter's next target is sam, in that sense, sam takes callum's place. now dexter has been going around the house and badmouthing sam to anyone who would listen.

As soon as it became apparent Jemima wasn't popular, he dropped her like a hot potato. She thought they were friends and still tried to cosy up to him and 'play' with him long after he had emotionally withdrawn from her. Sadly she didn't read him at all.

Much as I like Dex, he (along with Dan and Jackie) has engaged in textbook bullying behaviour.
Initially, he was himself bullied in the house, and may well carry that feeling of being bullied with him to the present time. But from the moment he came out of the safe house he bullied Callum.
Typical bully behaviour is not just to target the victim, but to convince everybody around them that the victim is themselves the instigator: turn everybody against the target and create a situation where everybody watching thinks that the victim deserves their harsh treatment.
Dex is a clever bully. And now he will do the same with Sam. And we, the viewing public will swallow it, just as we did with Callum.
He managed to do such a good job with Callum that people still think he was the instigator and Dex the innocent victim.

Dexter knew exactly what he was saying. He even admitted to Sam later, "I knew you were listening". Why would he say something that he knows would piss Sam off if he knew he was listening? Dexter knew exactly what he was saying and how he was saying it in order to annoy Sam but still make it seem like it was a misunderstanding in order to portray Sam as the bad guy. It is Callum all over again! He said horrible things to Callum that he knew would set him off, but he just said them in a childish manner to fool the other housemates. ie. The pre-wrestling trash talk. However, when Gina and Sam wised up to him he had nothing to say.

and the Sophie and Sam thing. I'm not sure what to think about it. I think both of them have misunderstood each other. It doesn't seem to me like either of them have any very bad intentions, but I wish they would get along, because they would be such good friends!

Sam and Sophie both want the £100k very badly. Neither is in there for a 'journey' or whatever.
So they will fight like cat and dog for the money now.

I don't think it's that simple. I have been a Dexter and Callum fan throughout. I still am, I like both of them. I also like Gina and Sam and am warming to Hazel and the twins.
I don't have any reason to think Dex would be a bully in the real world. It's a game show.

Dexter is not a bully. He's a wind up merchant. After the way he has been treated in there i say a little pay back is in order.

The housemates are competing against each other. Some try to do that by playing a game and others by not playing a game (itself a gameplan ;p)
Dex's original gameplan failed, but he came up with a new plan in the safe house and that seems to be working a treat.

You couldn't be more right! Except I think Dexter might have an uphill battle taking Sam out. The fact that Sam is now standing up for himself has seen a lot of support come his way... which is bad because now Gina might not win!

Vote to Win is the same as Vote to Save.
I still have difficulty in imagining people picking up their phones to POSITIVELY vote for Sam.
If Gina's popularity keeps plummeting, it's just possible - but only just - Dexter could sneak through and win! ;)

Is it vote to win in the final? Or is it going to remain vote to evict? Vote to win right now would still have Gina comprehensive winner but I also agree that Dexter would have a good shot as well... and maybe even Hazel. Vote to evict I think Sam would probably edge Gina. Just my opinion though!

I think Sam is the new Callum in the way that he isn't falling for Dexter's game. He is now messing with Sam like he messed with Callum. Coming up to him and smugly saying how he knew he hadn't left and was listening to everything they said, but then going to the other housemates saying how he thought he had left. Just like that stupid love triangle thing, constantly winding Callum up with this notion of a love triangle and then turning to the other housemates (most recently Hazel) and saying he was sick to death of CALLUM talking about the love triangle, when we all know it was Dexter who thought it up in the first place... its kind of like what my brother used to do to me in order to make my parents think I was the trouble maker! So I know how annoying and frustrating it can be!!! But I must say, it has made for amazing television, and being from Australia all I can say is that this season alone is so much better than all of the aussie seasons put together!

He never seems to remember the correct wording and every time he does say it wrong it is always in a more negative fashion. A major example was when he said 4 people nominated Hazel when he was in the safehouse. When they found out only 2 people nominated her he said something about him not remembering the exact nominations. I mean what?

What does that even mean? I am not sure what he meant by change. Like did he mean they nominated and then went back to the diary room and changed their nominations (pretty sure that is not allowed) or they changed their mind halfway through one of their nominations. But didn't Dexter watch the nominations live? So he would have seen them change their mind from Hazel and he should have accounted for that. But it has been ages since then so sorry if I have missed something!

He might have lied to get at Hazel, because at this point they both didn't like each other a whole lot, and this was when Hazel and Daley had their little thing going on. But yes, it could have been a misunderstanding.

Also by lying about the amount of noms hazel got could have gotten the housemates thinking that hazel might not be so great after all.
