I never thought I would say this but I have gone off Gina tonight :-( She's quite ruthless in her game and I don't like how she is mean about Hazel. I also was stupid enough to think she was Dexters ally but the letter she wrote making him look a fool was awful. Ok ok, I hear you Dexter haters laughing but really, it wasn't nice to watch for us Dexter fans, not that anyone cares LOL. Samp, behave yourself! :-D

With all the boo's Hazel got and Gina's boyfriend nominating her, I don't see why'd Gina think that Hazel is popular.

Tonight's steamer is callum. Save your money and back Hazel, she is certain to go, trust the Oracle, I've never been wrong before....
It is a simple one horse race as I have said loads of times. Hazel is toast....
Dexter has been resoundly beaten... callum is still kicking...

I think what Hazel's mum said really made an impact on Gina. She seemed to be respectfully taking in everything Hazel's mum said about Gina having a "hate campaign" against Hazel, and that she should have a heart and just give Hazel a chance to get to know her.
Maybe it's just me reading her expression wrong, but it seemed to look like the words were sinking in to her that maybe she should give Hazel a chance.
She also imo did look guilty when it came to the point where Hazel didn't have any 'fanmail' to receive. The highlights edited out where she said she picked Hazel because she knew Hazel had gotten real fanmail on the outside before and nobody else had, and where Hazel had agreed with her. Instead they just showed Hazel saying "because it was the obvious choice" or something like that. She also could have carried on letting Hazel believe that she got no fanmail, but she told bb she had a 'guilty conscience' and would have to tell them the truth. I can't imagine why any of the other letters would give her a guilty conscience because they were funny so I thought she meant Hazel is why she had the guilty conscience. Could be wrong about that though.
There's definitely no love lost between them usually though, so I would not be surprised if they 'hated' each other again tomorrow. They are always very pally when they are drinking so nothing new there, but it never lasts when they are sober.

Yep seems that way. Although I think it is because she would have expected him to pick Hazel anyways, and he only called Hazel fake.
Charlie came as a complete shock to her, and he called Charlie sly and manipulative or something. This along with the twins mum saying Charlie talks behind backs and is a 'player', has got Gina mega paranoid.

Give her a break, she can only process one thought at a time.

I love Gina but what a bad move.

Gina's bf also said, "Hazel is just jealous". I think this and saying she is fake confirmed to Gina that she is not 'evil inside' or more importantly not a major threat.
Gina's bf also said Charlie talks behind Gina's back. This and the sly and manipulative remarks, identified Charlie as someone much more dangerous who could/would expose Gina by repeating what she says privately.

Really good points, I too think Gina did listen carefully to what Hazel's Mum said.
The fan mail observation is a good one too.
They will as you say, never really be friends but I do go along completely with your point that Gina was affected by what Hazel's Mum said definitely.
