Dexter has money and knows how to spend it

Gina has money and loves the savoy hotel

Hazel is a model and gets paid to model and want more money and more famous

Sam has not said much about money

The twins also have not said anything about money

Sophie is a farm girl

Who needs the money in your eyes not Gina, Dexter,Hazel

I want the winner to be the person who has entertained me the most, played a ood game, found themselves, learned something, joined in etc. as dan has gone, I want dexter to win. The ones who could do with the money are the boring ones so don't deserve to win.

I love how Dexter has so many of you believing he has been on some mystical journey to 'find himself' it's a game plan! He knows this is what works every single year. Mugs.

A tough question. Since BB 7 I haven't had a clear winner in my mind and I don't like (oops, I forgot Aaron because I wanted him to win). Nowadays I have certain characteristics in a person that I like but they might also have a characteristic I don't like so it's really hard to choose.

The twins are the only ones I don't have anything really good to say but neither really bad to say. I don't like they arguing though and like yesterday Hazel raised the question of Dexter not being upfront about people and the twins just went on and on and on about it. Hazel didn't have to say a thing. Still the twins to me are the most bland housemate.

Dexter has shown tiny bits of decency in there but there are also things I don't like about him. In the beginning, I really liked the fact that he didn't bitch behind people's backs but that has changed. And I don't like him constantly explaining what he actually meant by his words or behaviour. He is good at that but I'm getting fed up with it.

Charlie might be the one I have most negative feelings towards because I cannot stand her constant analysing and neediness. The analysing bit I understand because I do the same. It's still boring. And she should just be able to find her own value, in herself, without others, their words and constant validation to her.

I didn't like Hazel's flirting, because I don't like that type of flirting at all. I understand that in the beginning she didn't know the truth about Daley's relationship status but when she found out, she should have changed her behaviour. Yes, I do know Daley is responsible of his own actions and he got what he deserved but Hazel's actions we're not right either, they were just on a different level of wrong in my eyes. However, I got to say that she is very determined and I have to respect that even though I don't understand that level of keeping up a certain image. I understand it's her career but I don't understand how someone can control her image to the extent she's doing. And I also believe when she says she's not jealous of Gina, she just doesn't agree with the way she lives. I believe she could live the same way as Gina but she probably wouldn't talk about it.

Sophie to me is just a moaner without any real personality. That should not be a winning combination.

In Sam I respect his back bone but I also think he hasn't done enough to win. And then there is that awful side of him flirting with things "you make my winky expand". A big no no in my eyes.

Gina is funny and I like her moral values, I like that she has a conscience that she cannot disregard. But her bitching about Hazel has gone too far and it's really boring.

Was that everyone? I really don't know who I would like to win, so I have to start eliminating the ones I don't want to win. I don't want the winner to be Sophie, Charlie or the twins. I would rather have the winner to be Hazel, although I don't want it to be her either. And I propably don't want it to be Dexter although he's given a lot stories in this year's BB. I think it might be to Sam and Gina. Has Sam done enough in my eyes? Propably not so I might go for Gina even though her bad side is really bad.

The problem with who needs the money is the people who might need it suck big time

the winner should be most entertaining forget the money

most entertaining -dexter and i reckon he needs the cash

Whoever wins deserves to win as far as I'm concerned.

The public decides, trust in them.

..yeah, I do think that Dexter has a game plan to win, I think every other housemate does as well, it's just that their game plans are all different..I think that the housemates also do go into the house for the experience and probably all or most have a 'journey' as well but for me that 'journey' isn't so valid to who I support because that's more for them and what if anything they learn about themselves and perhaps changes their own outlook on things...what I find strange is that people have favourites because of their 'better/finer qualities' and yet some of those people insult are offensive to forum members for their differing opinions on a favourite housemate....

I notice in your sig you say a vote for Sam is a vote for Respect, you might want to try a bit of that yourself, dissing other fans because they don't support your HM is hardly respectful.

..that's a great post crocs....it fairly much sums up how I feel as well..it has been difficult to chose a favourite this year and there have been a few for me but not out and out favourites for pretty much the reasons you have given as well..but that just shows that people (all of us) are flawed so there hasn't been a 'perfect housemate' for me...I'm still really torn about the Hazel/Daley thing because it goes against everything I believe in but she's also been judged very harshly for it and been called some dreadful things, which are totally OTT..I think she's showed some great qualities as well, which for me can't be ignored...I would have no problem with her winning but I honestly don't think she has a chance..I would love to see her in the final though....but like you, I'm now kind of eliminating the ones I would least like to see win....

To be fair he has had to explain himself to about 50 different people as to why he supports Sam because apparently it's not valid to support him.

..I do think you can say the same for most people though, especially this year as the housemates have been a strange old bunch and for me there hasn't been the balance of personality of being entertaining yet not showing bitchy qualities, I guess bitching is part of life so it depends on the degree and also what you personally think makes a good housemate...whether you want to be 'entertained' regardless of any negative character in that person or whether you want what is perceived as a nicer person but hasn't really given so much...anyway, regardless of what that is, there still isn't any need to be rude and does come across as hypocritical when one of the reasons you're supporting a housemate is because you don't think they're rude...I'm sure nothing was meant by it from the member but it was rude to Dexter supporters, who are as valid as any other supporter...

Oh come on now, up until now Sam has remained in the shadows and now that most of the Callum fans have now moved over to Sam and he is getting a bit more air time he is getting talked about a bit more, and Sam fans will have to put up with some negative stuff, don't know if you watched BOTs last night but the comedienne put it fairly well she said something along the lines of if we can speak positively about Sam we must also allow some negativity just the same as any other HM, Dexter/Gina fans have had to explain their "like" since the beginning of the show, that is what happens on forums, no need to get personal.

Ammi I believe that ANY reason for supporting ANY housemate is perfectly reasonable and who am I to criticise someone for how they feel. Good post though.

And Cynical Hermit is anything but rude I think he's just sick of being questioned all the time.

Negativity is fine but Cynical Hermit and other Sam fans have been pounced on for their support of Sam because its seen as some sort of violation of the big brother entertainment code. I don't care why somebody supports Dexter or Gina or whoever but nobody should tell Sam fans that they have no valid reasons for supporting them.

I haven't seen any posts along those lines but then I don't read all the threads. I can only comment on what I have seen and that is being called a Mug on this thread which I take issue with :D:

That's the difficulty (and the charm) of this kind of a show that we all watch it for different reasons and we all judge the housemates using different kinds of meters and values. And yet it all comes down to the fact that who are left in the house during the final evening and that's who we have to choose from in the end.

Everybody know your not a mug Cherie, but take it from me Cynical Hermit has had to repeat himself multiple times in the last few days. I don't condone personal insults but he has been battered from pillar to post and I don't speak for him but I can imagine its pretty wearing.

Anyway I don't want to derail this thread so I apologise for that.

..yeah, I appreciate the reasons are as valid as anyone else's..some people go for 'entertainment'..maybe even regardless of what other characters that housemate has but that's just as valid as well..for me, Sam seems like an ok guy but I have spent most of the time forgetting he's there..I can't really say I would be too annoyed if he did win though because there hasn't been a well balanced housemate for me this year, which is why it's been so hard to support one person...hmmm, I'm not sure if there's been the 'perfect winner' for me since Brian Dowling..just a lovely combination of 'nice' and entertaining as well...

EDIT:..sorry, I should have said that I also don't personally believe two wrongs make a right either and to be rude to others because you feel they've been rude too, isn't really the right thing to do...but yeah, we won't derail the thread any further...
