I'd have BB grow a pair and the tasks more all encompassing like BB5/6 - 3 days with someone having to stay up all night each night, or doing boring things without being allowed to quit. The reason it backfired 2 years ago is there was no penalty outside the food budget for intentionally blowing off a task. Trying and failing, fine, not trying, auto nom.

Evil BB please! I'm really happy with this series but there is always room for improvement.

1. Strict no contact with the outside world.
2. Less contrived tasks
3. Have the prize fund in jeopardy ala BB5
4. Wider age range
5. No already famous-ish people (Don't get me wrong I love Gina and Dexter to death but its getting a bit much. I want normal nobodies with the potential to become stars)
6. A staircase that is closed off with a door. One of my biggest annoyances with Channel 5 BB is that the other housemates can see the evictee leave. Urgh. When it was actually closed up and the housemates would put their ears up to the door it was so much more amazing. It really gave a sense of the house being segregated from the normal world.
7. Twists sometimes. I really would just love it if they'd stop screwing around with noms. Thats maybe the one thing I despise about this series. I don't mind twists if they're really good like Gina and Dexter in the safehouse but just not all the bloody time.

So yeah if next BB has another special name like Secrets & Lies, I want it to be. Big Brother Goes Evil. Or something like that. I want to get mean. At least for 1 BB.

They need to stop pushing showmances on us at the slightest whiff of a connection between two or more housemates, they pushed the Daley/Hazel thing this year and look how that turned out then the triangle thing and that was soooo awful to watch I almost turned off because of it.

They also need to bring back the more difficult tasks, all nighters, endurance etc.

I would...

1) Fill the house with people who want to have fun. People who would have no issue with going crazy one night then having a full on battle the next, and who are very competitive and all want to make the final to take the money. No one who's "just there for the experience".

2) Make the tasks hard. The shopping ones can be all nighters, make them work for their budget. They've been way too easy recently.

3) Parties and takeaways are allowed, but not every day like they are right now. They can't have too much fun, this isn't a holiday. :nono:

4) Twists every now and then, but i'd make sure they're big ones. I want them to completely change the house, to make the whole experience suddenly move in a different direction. This means no more safe houses! Sticking a couple of people in a tiny room with a live feed and headphones got boring the millionth time they did it, I don't want to see it again.

5) Normal nominations! Maybe one or two nom twists are ok but these days there's more nom twists than there are normal noms.

6) Vote to Save! I'd remove VTE because it's terrible and replace it with VTS, then also make it so the 3+ people with the most noms are up to ensure it works.

For me of all those things in the poll, only the flirting/romances and splitting the cash contests are things I would make never featured in a series.

I would like it more to be where we are in effect just sort of looking in a window on the housemates and seeing and hearing how they really are.
Arguments are fine as long as they don't get sinsister,partying and drinking are okay too,

Good tasks to ease boredom and shopping tasks that test them far more then they currently do.

Many people on here would have really great ideas for BB year in and year out,one in particular and it is a pity someone like them don't actually get the chance to be involved in a BB series.

If I ran BB,one thing I would never allow though is any meddling with nominations and evictions by BB themselves,however any housemate talking about noms would be automatically up for eviction the next time.

The fact that someone started this thread, shows what the problem with BB is. I don't want to see them doing more of anything. I want them to pick a decent bunch of people, and let them get on with it more.

I'd like to see them struggle, and be pushed as people more. All this bollocks about journeys, just because they managed to talk to some strangers for a few weeks is bollocks. I'd secretly take £200 out of the prize fund every time someone mentioned it.

Stop signposting every thing. If you have a series where they want to mess with the hm's (like they have this year), don't advertise it for ages with a sub heading of "secrets and lies".

Sack the selection process team and put the likes of Judy james to dig, probe and uncover the Dexter and Gina type freaks out of the house and fill the house with INTERESTING AND COMPETATIVE PEOPLE. Nobody needs freaks in there. For example....who the hell picked \daley. From the get go he said he was confused and wanted Bb to show him the way....BOLLOCKS.... BB is not there to sort out the psychological problems of the weird and wonderful in need of help. He was an accident waiting to happen and it happened.

When you put nutters like wolfy, sallie, dexter, gina and daley in a house, you are asking for serious conflict and I am sorry but watching someone spitting, trying to strangle a girl, swearing like an irish navvy and acting like petulant children isn't my idea of good viewing.

Made a similar thread the other day, so I'll copy and paste my OP:

Something that really bugs me about the show is the house ... it's too glossy and polished-up. The older designs were class with regard to this for their dull, unattractive settings, which I think really helped set the general mindset for the show (especially for the housemates). Since 2006 the houses have had a really bad interior design that could've easily been done by a student. I think it needs to feel more institutionalised and '1984'-esque, a dark pervading oppressor from whom there's no chance of escape, y'know?

Tasks in the house have just become a novelty in the middle of the week centered around making housemates look as slapstick-stupid as possible. Perhaps a big weekly task with the loser automatically becoming nominated for eviction, alongside the other two, would be a good twist.

Punishment and isolation should be taken a lot more seriously than they have been in recent years too and this current idea of BB prison is laughable. Being completely cut off from the outside world, as they were earlier on in the show, inevitably had a huge mental impact on HMs and that should be enforced too.

Basically, I think the show should become more gritty and cruel, I guess.

So that they could ogle all the sex then be all high and mighty and disapprove because no-one likes to admit they'd do anything gross/undignified/unfair etc. People are hypocrites which is why I get so enraged by people slagging people off in the house for they way they acted; they'd do the same, or much worse if they were given half a chance, or in private, and probably have already.

Interesting ideas, a few more...

1)The stingers from the BB tasks could be used for NOMS
2)There should be "puzzles" (house related e.g. who is the mole ?) to solve

3)They should consider separate prize funds.
AND a main one.
With cash moving from housemates funds to the main one.
And vice versa.
Would happen for "random" things they wouldn't notice.
Not too late to do this !

4) Pretend to kidnap a housemate, take them OUT the house then back into a dingy secret room.
Have one housemate then dress up to be the supposed "assailant" lol.
Ha ha would and should never happen.
But could be damn funny.
It's not like they don't scare housmates already.

Don't mind nutters in there because without conflict, the show would be rather dull.
But for me, they have to be able to communicate well.
