If Hazel goes on Friday (Day 58) she will follow the trend of other massive characters who have left around this same time frame.
In BB5 it was Victor (Day 57)
In BB6 it was Science (Day 57)
In BB7 it was Nikki (Day 58)
In BB8 it was Charley (Day 59)
In BB10 it was Noirin (Day 58)
In BB13 it was Caroline/Becky (Day 53/Day 60)
And to a lesser extent in BB9 it was Luke (Day 58), in BB12 it as Faye (Day 57).

It's going to be Hazel. A real shame but she'll be joining a list of greats.

Yeah. She's not as big to this series as most of those were, but still a shame. Much better than Dexter going though I suppose.

Hazel isn't a big character though and I find her vastly overrated on here
Don't get me wrong, she's had her moments and has been far more interesting than the likes of Sam, Sophie, Jack & Joe etc etc, but if we weren't in a position where some average housemates are going to have to be finalists if we don't want it overrun with undeserving bores then there's no way I'd want her to make the final. She's just the best of a bad bunch to finish the final five off (obviously that's not going to happen if she goes but hypothetically).
At this point the best possible final five would be Dexter, Gina, Charlie, Hazel and the twins, but that's not the perfect final we could've got from this series which would've been Dexter, Gina, Dan, Callum, Charlie (or Sallie if she'd stayed long enough).

I haven't found Hazel a big character really. Well, not as big as Dexter, Gina & Dan and even the twins :yuk: . She's certainly contributed to the house more than Sophie & Sam though.

To a lesser extent, Luke Marsden?
Luke was a very very big character in BB9, a fan favourite actually. Tbh though this 'trend' fell apart in 2010, when it was Rachael Ifon I believe from BB11 who was evicted. Killed it stone dead.

Hazel definitely fits the mold of a Week 8 boot. Also lol @ Luke Marsden being a fan favorite when he had the crowd chanting "jealous! jealous!" during the final. Rachelegend slaying all <3

I very much disagree. She's been a major talking point both online and within the house. Obviously she's not on the same level as Charley, Science, Nikki, etc. - but she fits the 'mold' of being a controversial character.

I don't deny he was a major character, but the ones i'm mentioning are more known for being controversial which Luke wasn't as much, which is why I noted 'to a lesser extent'.

It's been every series since BB5 basically except for BB11 (unless you count Ben who was evicted Day 52). So yes, it is pretty much always.
