what a surprise - twins have to find a reason for Dexter to be still in the house - he is an actor and has been immune.

Twins can't handle old Dexter's enduring popularity.

Even Sam conceded after Dexter only got 2 family noms that "he can't be all bad and must be doing something right" which Jack and Joe rebuked.

True, but they are suggesting (albeit in a general way) that is the only way Dexter and Gina could have survived until now is that they were always immune from the public vote.

Im sure there was semi humour in there somewhere but they never could get their heads around Dexter being quite liked.
