...that just because they dislike a housemate, does not make them a bad housemate.

Take Hazel for example. A lot of people dislike her, but you cannot say she isn't a great housemate because she has done a lot of stuff in this series, has provided major talking points, had a few very memorable moments and done what she said she would do on her VT, have an impact. It's all good and well people being nice in the house but we also need people like her, Gina, Callum etc.

It really annoys me when people cannot see this, and let their hatred cloud their judgement.

The same can be said the other way around. Sam and Sophie for example are lovely people, but they are not great housemates, years down they will not be remembered for much.

Also on a side not, I also love how people are slating Gina for calling Hazel a ***** and homewrecker, when a lot of those who are hating her for saying it were talking about Hazel the same way a few weeks back. Oh, the hypocrisy. ;)

People love to praise a housemate for doing something because he or she is their favorite housemate. But as soon as another housemate does it they are the Devil. There are a lot of hypocrites in this world for sure.

I can barely post on here after about week 4 that seems to be when silly season starts and the idiotic threads start appearing.
The threads urging people to complain to ofcom and c5 just because something not very nice happened to their personal fave housemate drive me mad and even a couple of people bragging about sending death threats to one of the presenters via twitter on here this series was a particular new low.

Its no suprise most people view the show as trash these days.

i dont like Gina at all and dont want her to win because of that but would she be a worthy winner despite that? Yeah definitely, she's one of the stand outs from a pretty boring bunch that are left.

You are right. Its hard to remember that sometimes on here when posts get a bit heated lol

I for one, am glad Hazel was there this year, cause the only other HM's I hated, all left early (Wolfie, Sallie & Jackie) and its always nice to have someone to hate, makes it a better show! Obviously though, not everyone gets that!

I'd have preferred a different housemate in the beginning to gina, cause she is a disgrace to the human race. Give me nice and boring over nasty and self important anyday

Yes Ben! :D
So many people moan about Hm's being boring but yet don't evict them.
Evict those they hate, even though they're the ones keeping the show alive.
Then cry when we have a Sam, Sophie, Twins, Charlie final.

I've noticed some of the people with the most intense hatred towards her happen to be Speidi fans as well. The double standards are just too much...

The definition of a good housemate is really open to interpretation. Some people think the funny, nice ones are good housemates and hate the evil, loud ones. Some think the other way around. You can't tell people what is and isn't a good housemate. It's up for them to decide.

Gina is very familiar with hypocricy as she practices it on a daily basis. Gina is a disgrace to her own sex with all her sexist name-calling of Hazel. Shame on her.
