Are Gina and Dexter poor?

I just don't get it - firstly Dexter went into the house claiming he was a millionaire escort yet has pretty much dismissed that whole claim now and I've read in a couple of places that Gina's whole story is fabricated too...

I don't think anyone really knows. From what I've got from what people have said, both Gina and Dexter had articles written about them in 2012 around the same time, hence people thinking they were fabricated to fake their life styles.

When you piece together the different family interviews and such (ones outside BB's influence, not the ones from BotS or the DS), it seems most of Dexter's lifestyle was a direct result of his step-father, the one who owned a lot of clubs and restaurants, including some strip clubs. His mother has since divorced his step-father and is in a new relationship, which is why she moved to Greece.

Presumably, Dexter got a lot of freebies through his associations with his step-father, in addition to whatever money he got out of working for him. Those would all have stopped after the divorce unless it's one of those rare cases where the step-family stays in touch later.

Charlie/ Jackie I suspect are probably the most affluent. I think Jackie's home (the one that she dances in) is in Fulham. The hall way looked huge so just off that and the location it's probably £2m+

obviously don't gina and dexter's bank accounts/ investments but they have definitely have more money than Sam, twins and sophie. Charlie is probably only just a millionaire.

It would appear that both parents that might be wealthy have disowned them both. It is a sign of the times when parents disown their siblings for financial reasons. Dexter has a typical peter pan style about him surrounded by lies and game plans so its hard to work him out. Gina on the other hand is supposed to get 10 a month from her mum who reportedly lives in a council flat and gina the same. Seems like the 10k hasn't been put to good use eh. Total BS in my opinion given Ginas persona and her BF,s actions.

I doubt those still living with their parents can be described as poor.

For example the twins are supermarket checkout assistants, so they won't be earning much. But a free roof over their heads makes a big difference!

I assume Sam still lives with his folks. Possibly Sophie as well?
