I think Gina is working away at competition now it nears the end. That is for the viewers benefit. Or if they know they are to nom, a way to get Dexter nommed withought getting her own hands dirty. Wasn't expecting that from her, after all she is spending just as much time in Sam's company these days. It's not as if Dexter is particularly close to many left in there now, so why shouldn't he hang out with Charlie.
