My Defense of Sam and why I support him

There are a lot of supporters on here who think that Sam shouldn't win. They call him boring and dull and every other name in the book all the while pushing for their favourites to win in the same post like Gina or Dexter. There is nothing wrong with that at all. But I cannot and refuse to support to liars and snakes.

Sam has been true to himself the entire time. When has being fake and fabricating your life and causing mischief been something to praise. Just because he wants to be himself and he's not the most outspoken person doesn't make him dull. I'm pretty sure if most people in this forum were on the show were just being themselves they probably wouldn't get much camera time either. It doesn't necessarily mean you're a boring or dull person. But I guess to satisfy some people you should start drama to be a good housemate. There's a reason why no one in the house dislikes Sam (outside of Sophie) and why mos people disliked Gina and Dexter. They aren't good people.

It's nothing wrong if you like Gina or Dexter they are entertaining I do think they have been a bit boring lately without their biggest rivals (Callum and Hazel). But I'd rather see a good genuine person win and not two liars and bad people personally. This has been a great series so far in my opinion and GO Sam.

Dexter, boring? he was funny during the spots commentators task, he's been just as vocal and lively as ever...Dexter did not need Callum to be entertaining, it was the other way around.

But fair enough for giving your reasons for supporting Sam...I disagree with you but I respect your opinion.

it's possible to be nice and be entertaining..sam has not been that..he has just been nice..he has literally sat on his arse for the whole show and done nothing..i don't think he should be rewarded for doing nothing

I agree with you in the sense that Callum was a little boring until he and Dexter started butting heads. I'm just saying lately he's been boring since Callum left.

how do you know dex isn't genuine? thats the thing. how many tears will he have to do to for people to say yeah ok ?

sam is a decent enough person but a bb winner he is not. and if he is it would be a tragedy.

It is a tv game show and as in all tv game shows you have to participate in order to win it.
Unfortunately Sam has chosen not to take part in this show and this is shown by his constant absence from our tv screens for the last nine weeks. Sophie is another one who has chosen not to take part. I don't care if housemates are nice sweet genuine evil bitchy or whatever, everyone can be all those things but those who hold back from revealing all their character traits good and bad always raise a red flag for me.Sam has mentioned how he is perceived on this game show. He is very worried about this. This to me is disshonest and calculating.

Ill always know and think in my mind that this big brother show is a reality show THAT CAN INCLUDE entertainment.
People seem to think its an entertainment show, and imo it isn't. Its just a show that can provide entertainment.
Sam isnt a bloody entertainer, hes just a normal bloke whos got difficulty hearing. Of course hes not gonna be the most entertaining. People need to understand that although big brother handpick most of their housemates which leads to more entertaining people and natural entertainers, they also pick a few who are just normal and know nothing about entertaining.

very true. they are more sneaky than anyone. both holding back so dont get into bother when they think they will they retreat again. both take the moral high ground from the haven of their beds.

I don't think Sam is boring, he's just had less screen time because he hasn't had any blazing arguments or a showmance. If we hadn't been so busy watching the 'love triangle', Daley & Hazel, Gina vs almost every other female and the twins in the shower maybe we would have seen more of Sams good natured, lighthearted personality
