Will change one of your lives forever
Bit over dramatic that, no?
How would it change any of their lives forever getting to final?

Very over dramatic and a bit of a lie because no one got the pass anyway

More of their Secrets & Lies crap?
Maybe they were going to hand over the £100K to whoever got unanimously chosen?

They didn't get the chance to tell them it was a lie and the person was infact evicted or given all/part of the money.

Poor old BB is still stuck in 2005 when every housemate in the final would get 15 minutes of fame after coming out

Yeah getting to the final doesn't mean you will win , so how will it possibly change your life forever?

They were likely referring to the £100,000 prize (and even that wouldn't change your life forever tbh) but if they insisted on being so dramatic, "will potentially change your life forever" would be a better statement. Being in the final =/= winning the show.

100k what? do you even know what we are talking about?

A pass to the final doesn't mean a guaranteed win, you still with us?
And no one got the pass anyway.....

It was a complete anti climax really, although I'm glad overall nobody got the free pass.

..Because they get to the final, therefore are one stop closer to winning the money?

For the poorest HM left Sam to change his life forever the prize fund needs to be at least £3m. If he lived in London that would be £5m

£100k free of tax would take Sam about 10 years to earn.
I'd say that's pretty life changing. In the area he lives in, he could probably buy a house with that...... mortgage-free!

I don't think it's life changing sum of money at all. Even if prize is wisely invested, Sam would still have to work as a stock room assistant (nothing wrong with that, but it's hardly life changing, same job just a bit more financial security). Make the prize fund £2m and you will begin to scratch life changing.

I edited my post to suggest he could actually buy a mortgage-free house, in the area he lives in.
Or he could take a break from work for several years and just do the things he wants to do.
Either way, his life would be changed dramatically forever.

I guess our definition of life changing is different. £1m isn't even life changing imo.
You really can't take a break with £100k, it's just not as much as it may sound.

Any amount of money which changes the direction of your life can be life-changing. It doesn't have to be enough to retire on which is what you seem to be suggesting.
For a young person that's about the worst thing that could happen anyway.
