Twins ask him if he is worried.

"Nah !"

God he really thinks he's gods gift to the show.

At least he's up (when he said he wouldn't be).

Time to get the uninspiring parasite out once and for all.

Had he said

"Well there's nothing I can do and what will be will be"

then fair enough.

Just sounded arrogant to me, like his "I won't be up" VT before going in.

If Dexter had said this, the forum would be up in arms. However I will give the exact same response as I would if he had said it

It doesnt necessarily mean he thinks he is safe. It just means hes not worried about going..maybe he's looking forward to seeing his family and stuff? They are all in the final week now anyway so thats an achievement in itself :)

It doesnt necessarily mean he thinks he is safe.

Perhaps so.
But what about when he said he wouldn't be up for eviction ?

Add the 2 together and slip in how he's suddenly mentioned being worried about his career path + working with disabled kids...

I can just about stand gameplayers like Charlie playing the sympathy card when it suits them.

But to be arrogant with it is just too much !

"Don't **** with me in a food fight"

Yeah, I get the picture.
What a lovely guy - not !

His saying that doesn't imply he is confident he is not going to be evicted it just means getting nominated is part of the game and there is no need to fret. Why should he be worried. Would worrying change the fact that he is up for eviction or would it change the viewers votes. Too much hating on these forums.

That's YOUR guestimation.

He's already said he wasn't going to be up for noms before he even walked into the house !
Explain how that's not arrogant ?

BTW calling someone arrogant isn't "hating", it's personal perception and opinion.

People are fully entitled to say if they don't like parts of people's perceived character without constantly being accused of "hating".

Get a grip !

So long as I rock this signature I will always seem biased, but clearly this was a mix of humble bravado and a general statement of not being worried EITHER WAY.

Say what you will, Sam is more together than pretty much anyone else left in that house could dream of being. And so what if he's secure and is "not worried". It's better than Dexter's anxious insecurity, Charlie's flip-flopping, Gina's phoniness, the twins' incessant need for attention or Sophie's bitchiness. I mean really.

Had he said he was really worried, it would be said now he knows what it feels like to be up,that it is a game and they should all expect to be up at some point.

Now he says he is okay with being up he is arrogant. Unbelievable.

Sam's a real guy, not some insecure, hungry fame-***** using a phony story to navigate their way through a reality show.

It takes a truly good person to accomplish navigating the house this long without stirring a bunch of **** and I find that incredibly admirable... not boring, not lazy but admirable.

I hope the majority of viewers see this and reward someone who is deserving of the money, not necessarily because he put on a show, but because he was a good guy who lasted in the game for a long time.

Maybe Sam is not worried because he simply taking things in his stride and has the attitude that if he leaves so be it, not that hes arrogant enough to think hes going to escape eviction or win..

Ive yet to see any signs of arrogance in him...

Sam and the twins discussed noms in pool and should be penalised - no more FREE passes for him - so dull boring and trading on his disability - done little to enhance - more the opposite effect

I really don't want Sam to win (we all know who I want to win) but I am not so sure Sam was being arrogant, of course I don't know for definate, only Sam knows the answer to that. I can see how it would come over as being arrogant but if we are honest with ourselves, comments from a person who is a threat to win the show is always going to be perceived as negative because we want OUR favourite housemate to win so we look for any little thing that could ruin his chances and make a big thing of it. Had any other housemate said the same thing all the other housemates fans would have said they were arrogant too, if that makes sense? Oh bugger, I know what I'm on about anyway :conf2:

And I voted for you in the TiBB nominations too ! ;)

But joking aside, I don't see why people aren't allowed to question the favourite.

I'll give you another example...
Remember when he was in the secret room ?

He came out and made a big thing with Dex about what he had said. (he didn't get Dex's point IMO)

Remember the way he raised his eyebrowls like he was in the right ?

Also, "Don't feel the need to speak to me because Callum has left."

Quite self assured he is always right...

Now I'll be the first to admit he's probably the most genuine in there and has said some good things.

But I'm afraid no-one is above criticism. (and I've got money on him to win too !)

Stick to the talking points without getting personal and I'm sure your arguments will hold more sway.

Anyway...
Why shouldn't people point out things that discredit HM's ?

Sam is not God or above criticism just because he's favourite or has a hearing difficulty.

Well he was talking about his cock so I think the point is, he shouldn't have been saying either to the women around him! It's ridiculous to use childish language to start with, but he must be some kind of idiot to go up to women and tell them 'I've got an erection'. You can get arrested for less. Didn't he also shout out to another woman 'show us your g*** for bangers and mash'? More like harassment than being playful I would say.

Sure no-one can ever know exactly what's going on.

I got it totally wrong and reacted angrily and when Charlie started crying over the Hazel argument but then realised my mistake when the dust settled.

Sure the HM's are all trying to pull wool over the public's eyes.
Very difficult to get away with !

But if they do then they convinced they probably deserve to win.
