What "Secrets & Lies" have there been lately??

The beginning of the season started with a bang of secrets and lies with Michael but what has there been lately? Seems like a very lackluster end to the theme for this season. Hoping something big happens to shake things up in the next couple days.

(Disclaimer: This is my first BBUK season so maybe the daily mundane events as of late are indicative of secrets and lies.)

The only 'secrets and lies' themed twists I can think of that have happened are

1) Michael
2) The safe house, though that happens every year these days anyway
3) The secret nominations reversal

The theme has been pointless, to be honest I think they only introduced it to try and improve the ratings. Make the series look all mysterious and exciting to get people watching.

They're masking the theme for every twist they make, so I'd take every twist they throw at us as one of their "Secrets & Lies".

Dexter and Gina both have skeletons in their closets that they don't want revealed and BB are doing their bit by pretending that they are REAL genuine people!

Emma announced after Callum to Rylan and Aj that the following week there would an amazing twist ie a secret/ lie that would rock the house and we'd see a "different Friday". Nothing happened.

They have tried this "rock the house" crap every week and we are still waiting.

They could have done so many things.

1. Intoduce 3 new housemates. All given secret missions. Each of the new housemates know they all have secret mission. At the end of the week, housemates are told they must guess the person who they believe to be a mole. That person is evicted and the other two remain genuine housemates.
2. Offer the money to all housemates. Housemates are told that if they all leave the money, the prize fund will rise to £300,000. They all have a buzzer. If any one housemate presses the buzzer, they will automatically face eviction that week with no money.
3. Each housemate is given a secret mission that week. Those who are found out are put up for eviction, those who passed will be safe from eviction that week.
4. 2 housemates are put into a secret house and told they can vie house footage between 5-7pm. Yet, they don't know that the housemates in the main house know about this and have to act as normal as possible. Before 5 and after 7, the main house can watch what is going on in the safe house.
5. Nominate as normal. However, there is no public vote. On Friday, the housemates are told they must not communicate and come to the diary room one by one to choose who they believe should leave out of the nominated.
6. On the second week, five housemates are evicted and replaced with 5 new housemates. Every single new housemate is an actor. All those who have been evicted have actually been moved to another house for two weeks.
7. On week one, an housemate is given a pass to the final. However, what they don't know is that this actually means that they will in act, face eviction every week.

Some rubbish, some not. But there are so many things they could have done with this series.

The only reason they called it that is so they can do what they want and we cant question it

Lets be honest all they did is use recycled ideas but fitted them under "Secrets AND Lies".

They did well to keep with the theme but, no originality.
