hmm, I thought they were more than 4 hours behind.
Bosnia and Herzegovina making their first cup, how lovely for them.
I'll be happy if we get out the group stage, i have already adopted Honduras as my second team for the World Cup because of Peralta

Portugal is my second team if they qualify (because of you know who)
Nigeria might also get some support if they qualify. (Purely cause my dads friends with victor Moses)
Hope we actually play some good sides in the pre world cup friendly matches, instead of bloody teams like Jamaica, need to arrange a friendly with a south american side to get use to their style of play, we have had eastern european overload recently
the truth
15-10-2013, 09:01 PM
fair play well done to England and hodgson
I don't think they have a snowballs chance in hell at the world cup, simply because they lack the technically gifted players who can beat men and keep possession
but I think theyre undefeated in qualifying which is quality achievement. I hope they win the world cup but they have no chance sadly.
as for the celtic nations, I presume none qualified again>?

I think I'd rather have easy fun games leading up to the WC for team moral rather than getting thrashed by Argentina or something
No not Argentina, that would just ruin the moment if we end up facing them in the world cup.. Mexico will do actually because they won't make it
Drew.
15-10-2013, 09:05 PM
Mexico and Cameroon will do

they'd have to win away at Costa Rica (group leaders) and then see Honduras lose away to Jamaica (group losers) :/

So England qualified. Training Camp for them will be in Miam reportedlyi, wonder if the US England friendly will happen then?
Jozy Altidore will be the captain for the US's final qualifying match. Brad Guzan is at goal. Too bad I'll have to wait for the highlights. Dont have Bien Sports

Still find it hard to be that bothered about England but them being in the WC is better than not being in it so tonight's result was good I suppose, although I don't expect us to get further than the second round next summer
Hope the Ukrainians can beat France and qualify as well though

It's not like its was 5-5 or something. If it was 5-5 then the penalty should be given to your regular peno taker.. But their bloody five nil up... Jack butland could of taken the penalty if he wanted to at that point.

He's more ****ed Adnan has been great tbf. Will have to wait longer to get a chance at United.
Zaha is better than Sterling and will show it when he starts playing and eventually better than Towsnend tbh. Walcott is the best of the lot, but I would still play Towsnend at the moment. Offers something else.

He was amazing for Chester when they were in the Conference North and ended up winning easily, now he's gone they are slugging it out in the relegation zone in the conference and i don't really think there is much difference at all between the Conference and Conference North/South, suppose at least they've beat Wrexham at their place this year though
Nolan, who has represented England at under-21 level, believes that Sam Allardyce's side are often ignored by the national team, regardless of how well they are performing.
"There's eight months to go to the World Cup and West Ham have probably got the biggest, strongest English set of players in the country. I don't think there's anyone like us," he told the Sun.
"It feels like the England manager doesn't seem to notice us. Hodgson was at our game at Spurs but that was because everyone had been talking about Jermain Defoe.
"But you can't tell me he went there and Ravel Morrison or Stewart Downing, James Tomkins and Mark Noble at least didn't catch the eye. He must be thinking there's at least four lads there he could call up.
"It's very frustrating. We finished 10th last year and the boss has strengthened the squad in the summer. If those lads were from other European countries, they would have caps."

Lallana included :worship: shocked to see Rodriquez though and 3 left backs.. Bit pointless that
Goalkeepers:
Fraser Forster, Joe Hart, John Ruddy.
Defenders:
Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Kieran Gibbs, Phil Jagielka, Glen Johnson, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Kyle Walker.
Midfielders:
Ross Barkley, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Frank Lampard, James Milner, Andros Townsend, Jack Wilshere.
Forwards:
Jermain Defoe, Rickie Lambert, Jay Rodriguez, Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge, Daniel Welbeck
made a tweet before the squad was announced saying that i wouldn't mind Rodriquez in there, much better option then bloody crouch anyway
Gibbs, Cole and Baines though? bit weird.. thought Cole was injured.

With the appointment of O'Neal and Roy in particular should Ireland be automatically promoted to top 10 in the rankings?????
The young talent coming through Ireland at the moment is scarily good (England will no doubt try to poach some of the young talent which embarrassed them at the home of football like every other sport) but now coupled with Roy and Martin's guidance I can only think of Spain and Brazil being favs against Ireland in a competitive match
handing in a transfer request like the sensible guy that he is
Wouldn't mind seeing him go that much if we got a lot of money for him and if we are generally acknowledged as the club that made him who he is
But really, what is selection based on if not quality performance for club and country ar U21s
Brother Leon
09-11-2013, 02:22 AM
There are u21 qualifiers. They want him there.
Now let's be real Brother, no one but the players and coaches care that much about u21s, especially when one of those games is against San Marino
And if my calculations are correct England are blitzing their u21 group regardless of results next weekend

Hope that Mexico crumbles under the pressure.

If Lewis MacLeod was in the team he'd have Donovan in his back pocket
Donovan wasn't called up nagging ankle injury. And Dempsey was called up but he has a nagging calf injury.
The biggest problems you'll have is Micheal Bradley Tim Howard and Jozy Altidore.
And Guzan wasn't called up Elbow injury I think Nathan.
Sean Johnson was called up. Dunno if he's behind Howard or 3rd GK
Did Mexico win 5-1 in the end? might as well not play the 2nd legs in either match now

BBfanUSA

I belive the squad is this:
GK: Howard, S.Johnson, Hamid
DF: Lichaj, Ganzalez, Brooks, Evans, Beasley, Orozco, Cameron
MF:Bradley, Diskerud, Bedoya, Jones, Klijestan, Shea, Oh wait Edu is on the squad I'm sorry :P (He signed with Stoke?!?) There's no number on him right now according to wikipedia
FW: Johnhannson, Boyd, Altidore, E. Johnson, Wondolowski
Most of these guys are probably going to play since Klinsmann is still looking for his best guys for the WC.
yeah Edu has been with Stoke for a year and a half, hardly plays though.
Beasley is used as a defender now for USA? weird.. never use to have any defensive traits at all when he played for Rangers, just a typical winger.. great player on his day though

Last I heard of Edu was that he was playing for some Brazilian side.
Beasley played for the US during this year's gold cup (North America/Caribbean /Central America's Euro) and was the captain. It was a B Team essentially though.

I'd rather have Ivory Coast reach it than Ghana to be honest. I hate Ghana that much, they're the reason we were eliminated from Germany and S.Africa
