if he wins, he will presumably be giving it all away - or otherwise he would be a complete self-righteous hypocrite.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he did make donations to organisations for those with hearing impairment were he to win.
Highly commendable that would be as to him too,if he did.

:nono: don't be ridiculous, he's playing a game like the rest of them, doesn't make any of them evil.

Dude needs £100k.

I think he mainly wants to win.If he does win,Why should he give all the money away?Just because it may not be his main reason for wanting to win does'nt mean he should give it all away.I think a hundred K would probably change his life.

He took the 100k so he could play on the good guy act he made sure he was safe sly little prick! He is the biggest player there

He wants to get to the end and win he doesnt want to slide out of the door on his belly like a filthy scumbag snake and steal money like Dixter proved he would.

He would love the money but wants to do it the right way and not go out like a slimey devious coward.

I agree, it would be lovely if he did, but I said to my husband last night that I would have respected Sam much more had he not kept bringing up the word 'deaf' and discussing how he plans to spend the prize money should he win (spending it on the deaf). He should in my eyes just have played the game, been himself without mentioning any of that because it has come across as though he is playing for sympathy.

My husband who has lost an arm due to an industrial accident told me last night, perhaps I should go in there next year, sleep through almost all the show, and play on my disability, perhaps I will win.............I'm sorry if I sound mean in my view but I know exactly what he was saying.

This is reality gameshow, not a charity.

I think with Sam it's just about the journey, some life experience and raising awareness of hearing disabilities - and not so much the money.

I'm less clear what his motives were for going on Deal or No Deal though...

Sam wont win so it doesn't really matter what he would do with the money.

Dexter will win though and has openly said on the lf and highlights that he would give most of it to charity, so it's all good, fans will get the winner they want and some charities will benefit from a donation....

Yes, everyone who goes on Deal or no Deal looks terrible. Imagine wanting to win money. Nobody should want money, it's just not done. People who buy lottery tickets are a disgrace too.

He might like the money but that doesn't mean it's his main reason if he is that bothered about wining.Ir's incredible how some call him slimy and yet fail to notice how slimy Gina and Dexter have been all series.Sam is the only one who has been mature / honest when he has stood up to others

Sam played boringly safe, Dex the gambler well gambled and have a look see whole threads talking about him again!
Remember 'secrets and lies' they must of thought about that when doing the task, how many times has bigbro stictched them up.

I think he didnt believe that the twist was real..hence the dramatics about not wanting it. They ALL want the money. I dont care what they say.

At least we know Sam doesn't want the money now.

Hmmm or do we ?

"Aww, just trying to think !"

Think about what Sam ?

Take the biggest you're 100% safe.
It's not rocket science mate !

What the hell is he thinking about ?

You want to stay, you take the biggest.
You get in, spot the biggest, take, suitcase closed, job done !

Spent a bloody age in there pondering, then comes out with some tosh

"Right let's get one thing straight..."

Oh really, WHY is that Sam ?
You're fearing people might think you're not ?

"I don't want the money so I'm gonna pick a high number"

HIGH number ?

Nice try at making out you don't know £100K is the biggest !

Sorry, surely no-one can be that thick ?

Then he has the audacity to say "You're a gameplayer" to Dexter like it's some kind of crime.

Personally Sam, I think you're full of crap !

Issac
15-08-2013, 01:37 AM
Fame = money 100K is the motive, if not mag deals are always a bonus. Let's not sugar coat things saying people on BB are nice, the old lady volunteering in my local charity shop is nice.

Fair enough - have always said it's about playing a game.

But it's HOW you play it and whether you're playing it well.

If he's pointing the finger but doing the exact same himself, thinking he's come across as Mr Perfect when the public strongly suspect he's not, then it looks real BAD.

Issac
15-08-2013, 01:45 AM
True, but you have to weigh the facts about entertaining the viewers and he has done exactly that! See everyone's talking about this twist and Dexter is right in the middle, Twins and Charlie don't even get mentioned.

Well he did last night, I'll give him that.

Twins were interesting how they also didn't take the biggest.

He said he didn't care about the money !

Course we both believe that isn't really true.

If that's indeed the truth, he shouldn't be a 2 faced hippocrite.

Kyle

Of course he wants the money every one of them wants it. It takes a certain type of character to go on a game show like this and although I find Sam the most tolerable he still possess some of the negative attributes required.

Sure no-one's perfect.
But not everyone else is going in there on the back of a "moral" gameplan ?

If he's going in there to be a role model for deaf children and to play the honest good guy, then play the honest good guy ?!!!

How difficult is it ?

Complete hippocrisy and a step way too far if you ask me.

I really hope the public don't fall for it, I really do !

I notice all the Dexter fans are saying he should give the money away or be called a hypocrite. I guess you guys would give it all away as well, eh, no....then leave him alone, he deserves it like bobnot says and this is just a stupid sam bashing thread to make him look bad because Dexter got caught with his effeminate panties round his ankles.

The reason the twins or Charlie don't get mentioned is because most people are'nt fans of theirs. This is all rubbish,Dexter fans calling Sam names,Sam fans calling Dexter names. It's propaganda to try and make their favs look more "moral".Truth is,Probably every hm would love to win the cash.

OMG what a load of rubbish, sam has never cried, not like dexter and he has never solicited the sympathy vote ever. Look at your own guy and then comment. he is the sympathy vote master. That chin of his is on a tap and his fake tears only come when he rubs his eyes, probably with fingers covered in Vick or onions.

oh right - ok  that's cleared that up then - a convenient distinction which will allow him to keep the money and pretend he still has a conscience.

sam has never cried, not like dexter and he has never solicited the sympathy vote ever.
It could be argued this was achieved as soon as he walked in and made reference to it.

In any case, is his presence in the show the limit to him trying to "raise awareness" ?

Q. What have we actually learnt from Sam about people with hearing difficulties ?

I may have missed it all but just personally I've learnt absolutely nothing !

All I've seen is:
a) Callum giving him a soapbox letting Sam say the housemates don't make enough effort to listen to him.
b) Asking Gina if she's ever met a deaf person.

Sorry but if he's really there to "raise awareness" about issues then it could be argued he's not doing very well.
For me, he's failing to address what the problems or issues actually are.

For someone who says that's the whole reason he's there, you have to question whether he's making enough effort day in day out with this or just using it as the sympathy card he can fall back on.

Either way, I'm not convinced he deserved to win at all or is even this massively nice person most seem to imagine.

BTW I'm NOT a Dexter fan...

He actually went on it for £250k but ended up with a paltry £7k.

Sam is after the money so he can swan around the world, don't be in any doubt. ;)

So you think £7 is a paltry amount to a young man? really? and what young man doesn't want money and travel , infact I would say not just young men .Be in no doubt they are ALL in there wanting the money so no need to single the one out who would do the most with it and wants to win it fairly!!
