As for the OP..its ridiculous.
Deal or no deal is a show ONLY to get money. Big brother is a bit different..though I guess the objective is still to get money. But the shows arent the same at all.

Why do you need to bash Sam to try and make Dexter look bad?
Hes done that all on his own and no one else on the forum will be spoon fed twisted information by you in order for you to sway people towards disliking Sam.

If he had wanted money would it not have made sense to try harder to get some?
By picking the highest amount he was stating that under no circumstances did he want to take any money or leave the process.
Dexter on the other hand played it very differently, both sam and Charlie called him out on it as he went against what they had all agreed again just like he did during the voting task.
This is why he is losing the respect and trust of his fellow housemates he keeps slipping up, and he can't talk his way out of it anymore.

You are forgetting that the housemates immediately thought there was a twist to what they had been told ;) The twist could well have been that the person who took the most left with that amount.

I read the link left by OP and saw that Sam says he is fortunate to have a 70% hearing loss (as in in could have been much worse for him). I was a bit surprised at this because for some reason I thought that Sam was profoundly deaf...I'm glad he won £7K and a holiday too apparently. He has said that he is worried about his future and that he has no real career plans (path). So maybe he tries to win money to help supplement a low income or something like that. I cant see anything bad in him doing that. In fact, if anything, it's a very inventive solution for him. He's not my favourite (I don't have one this year) but he is not exactly Public Enemy number one - is he?

I haven't seen the whole thing yet but what is troubling me is
1. How did they pick who went first as that was an obvious advantage
2. Why did they show the amounts that had been taken to the others that followed
Wouldn't it have been better to leave all the amounts up on the board for each person and if it had been a draw then just leave those up for eviction where they were - all very odd.

From the vids, and the arguments afterwards, I assumed the amounts were not replaced. If they were, then Charlie has no grounds to kick off either, as she picked 99k instead of 100k. For all she knew the other amounts could have been 99999, 99500, etc.

Don't get mad Kazanne, on 'Deal or no Deal' there would be little point in going on if you weren't wanting to win as much as you could on the show.
A pretty poor comparison of a show with BB really, even though Sam has been on it.
Sam also clearly stated in front of the cash amounts what he had been told, the person who chooses the least likely gets that and leaves BB that night.
He said very clearly to anyone listening, ''I want to stay here,I don't care about the money''.
He then chose the biggest amount to ensure if that was so he would not be going.
How that is perceived as greedy is beyond me as had it been true, then someone chose say like Dexter's figure, then Sam or whoever won would have been left with very little indded to win at the end.
That's a risk Sam took and was happy to since he wanted to be there to the last day and have a chance of winning, whatever the then prize money would have been, large, medium or small amount left.

Sam was the cleverest of all (or luckiest to go first)
Take the 100k and if they are telling the truth, you are in the final. If they are lying, you walk with the whole prize fund.
If he was that clever, wouldn't he know that there is no way they are going to let someone walk with the whole of the prize money with 6 days still left to go?

I'll tell you what - the way things are going this week, this Production Team are going to have a lot to answer to...If they carry on like this a) they will have made no money because the lines have only just opened. b) all of us will have exploded with sheer frustration (I for one have started shouting at my laptop!) c) no=one will bother to watch the final because Guess what...the first two bods we evicted will be brought back for a final nonsensical twist and one of them will be the ruddy winner...thank goodness for swear filters...grrrrr....

Totally agree Joey, and I take most of it with a pinch of salt ,but some people,I mean really? lol you know what I mean,ah well lets hope Sam has enough fans to get him the crown in a fair and honest way,imo THAT is the only way to be a true winner.

In a way, I agree, though I dont think it was anything to do with who was the lowest.
I honestly think if someone went below 50k they would have got the money and left. And I think BB were probably expecting them to go that low too. There is no way they would give away 80% of the prize fund before the final just for a twist.
I think you are on to something here, the delays and the cloak of mystery suggest that this could be true.
I also think it's very difficult to attribute meaning to the actions of any of them (i.e. one is clever, another greedy), but in the luck of the draw Dexter was very fortunate. Sam's reaction and anger at Dexter was a real surprise and won't do his image any favours.
Vicky.

Possibly. Which is why I think Dex went low but still high ;)
He thought it was a twist (which was right) but hedged his bets incase it wasnt.

Then i would have wanted them to evict Sam
I thought this thread was about Sam's perceived "greed"?:conf: But if they all had done the same thing,Sam should have gone!?!?! That would suggest the aim of this thread is to discredit Sam,the favourite,in order to help Dexter, the second favourite?!?:nono:

Possibly. Which is why I think Dex went low but still high ;)

Maybe. I honestly believe Sam chose the 100k for the reason he stated - he wanted to stay. As there is no way BB would give away all the prize money, he would have gone much lower if he wanted to walk.
Another reason I think he was legit is that I think he knows he's in with a good shot of winning anyway. And like all of them, no matter what they say, he badly wants to actually WIN.

I know things can degenerate but I don't know enough about his condition to know if it can degenerate by large percentages like that over a short period...

Many people on here still believe that he has only has 30% hearing. The quote below is from Sam himself on this matter.

I dont see why we are debating how deaf Sam is based on a few words written down? To me it extremely obvious that he has much less than 30% hearing loss..
If someone can find the actual show on the 4 player or whatever where he actually SAYS these words then it might be a different story.
Even though his hearing could have got worse in he 6 months between dond and bb

Back to topic i think Sam will be exposed by tonights edit as a liar and just complete fake when it comes to the money involved and why he picked £100,000.
Well I saw it on BBBOTS and he was not exposed as a fake at all.
He genuinely thought BB meant that someone would be walking out with money. It could not be him because he chose first and picked the highest amount.

90% in one ear which means he is almost totally deaf on one side. The other ear is 80%.
What people do not realise is that hearing aids also present problems especially when there is a room full of people. That is when you see Sam look towards ( Callum in the past) and Gina. He has praised Gina for the attention she pays by being polite enough to let him finish a sentence and she will repeat instructions for him.

That's right he only has 30% of his natural hearing and you are also right as to the noise when wearing a hearing aid.
It is sad when people don't realise just how hard it is for those who are hard of hearing to cope in groups and noisy places.

is he trying to be role model by telling people how much money they should pick in a task according to his fake gameplan and telling Girl assistants that come into the house to strip naked because his winkie is expanding.... :nono:
I've never been sure on Big Brother why its so bad to admit to wanting to win the money. The biggest accusation you can have tossed against you in this show is that 1) you are there for the money and 2) you have a gameplan.
Every one must claim to be their for the experience or whatever and have no interest in winning and no interest in the money. It's such bollocks. At the end of the day, if this show existed without the prize money attached, how may of the contestants ever would have entered the house? And those that did would be essentially be fame ***** imo.
