He was 40/1 this morning and now he's 20/1!!!!!!
He's still showing as the least likely to leave but that's a huge change in odds in 12 hours!
There's a LOT of people voting for him since seeing his childish, bitter behaviour on tonight's episode too. People who haven't voted at all this year are picking up their phones to evict Sam!
I really think he's seriously in trouble this week and i'm glad!

Don't panic Mr Manerring, they are only balancing the books because the other 3 are 6/4 7/4 and 9/4. If Sophie drops to evens sam will go out to 30/1 then 40/1. The outsider is always the counterbalance. he has not been backed in any numbers. its because the others are all too close for comfort and the bookies are inviting mug bets.
Beth.

Sophie wont rake in evict votes, Charlies been pretty cool and chilled this week compared to last week and the twins have always been relatively stable.
Theres a chance but its very slim. If PP have good odds on him tomorrow I might take the punt.

I was so angry at the tedious ****ing bore daring to say he feels sick that Dexter's in the final when it's nauseating that he could be about to be too and also stand a chance at winning that I threw two votes his way, will be doing more later.
He has to leave, pointless beyond comprehension.

Why is Sam nasty? Because he told the slime what he thinks of him? I say way to go Sam!
Seriously, go back and watch it and if you say Dexter wasn't fighting back a smile when he realised he had the smallest amount, you'd be lying. What Sam said and Charlie thinks is absolutely spot on.

Mug bets. The bookies are closing down for the night after offering mug bets on sam. They know that some supporters of Dexter and Ginas will vote for sam to go because they know their own man cant win with Sam there. Sam Is still odds on to win even though he is up tomorrow. He is safe but please by all means vote for him because that will leave less in the pot for the final votes on Gina or Dexter.
Noticeably there are only 2 bookies offering odds right now and one of them is the tote, betfair.

i rememeber last time your same words on Callum......
ust so you know....Every bookie has to make a book. They cant put all 4 contestants at evens as it will show the percentages in favour of them by a big margin. If hazel is say 1/2 then the others must add up to an amount that makes the win odds balance out so if callum is 2/1 the twins and dexter must be at least 10/1 and 20/1 to balance the books.
Whats happening today is the crafty bookies are using a herring bait for the book. They falsely shorten Callums odds to make people think he is being lumped on and to do this they must put the twins or dexter bigger. In reality they are inviting sucker bets for no return and punters bite.
When you go to the horse track, watch a horse that's dropping like flies and shortening dramatically, mug punters follow it and bet thinking that the boys in the know have bet it and the horse comes nowhere. The bookies have just conned you by offering a @STEAMER@ when it had no chance. Tonight's steamer is callum. Save your money and back Hazel, she is certain to go, trust the Oracle, I've never been wrong before on the VTE.
What happened last time when u said you never get a Vote To Evict wrong and Callum went over Hazel... :joker: Enjoy Sams eviction tomorrow im voting 50 times for him :wavey:

Sam Is still odds on to win even though he is up tomorrow.
Hardly suprising though.
If the odds are a true reflection right now, there's still more chance he'll stay than go so the overall price to be crowned winner wouldn't change much.
Small move at shorter the odds means a much bigger percentage swing too.
Nothing to worry about !
Most important thing is the snowball effect is in full swing. :)

There hasn't been any huge shock evictions in bb in C5 ers. Although c5 wanted bb12 Aaron to go we knew he was staying to win. Tweenie girls (bulk of sam fans) don't make up enough of vote, so c5 have realised its more profitable to have sophie gina and Dexter fans voting out Sam than trying to give positive sam edits to final.
Can see a shock eviction. Tweenie fans will be gutted for 3 days then re-watch when young hunk rnters cbb.

I don't think Sam has that high a fanbase, but he will get the patriotic Welsh vote from some if he makes the final, there is no getting away from that, the same as the awww sympathy vote added to the that, and I think that is what Sam will rely on, that is why if he makes the final and wins, it will be a hollow victory, there obviously will be true fans mixed in there, but I doubt anywhere near what some may think..

His fans are all over the place right now, they will cling on to any slender reason to support him...shouting abuse at Dexter counts as a great Sam moment for them. :joker:
He might have the Welsh vote and the sympathy vote, but Dexter is being loved everywhere tonight...even on facebook...the tide has turned.

Dexter supporters are in turmoil. They don't need to vote but they will. Some will vote to get rid of Charlie to loosen that stone round his neck as she is making him look bad. Some will want Sam out because he is the biggest threat to their boy and now some might not vote at all to save their pennies for the finals. Its a conundrum for sure but alas a vote for sam will be one less for dexter to win as the pots are running dry from voting every week to save his ass.

As I've said, every single fan of every other housemate other than Sam should vote to evict Sam, because he's the biggest threat to every housemate left. Get rid of him and it's wide open.
If all fans of the other housemates teamed up and threw a few votes his way he stands a very good chance of leaving.

Except even if we are to believe the star article about Dexter..it still never said he raped anyone. Even the star couldnt go that far, it said he described a sex act. Not even that he took part in it.
However quite a few people who dislike Dexter did continually bring the rodeo thing up as utter fact. So obviously they believe everything it prints
Personally I think that the star isnt fit to wipe my arse with. As I have said about EVERY star article so far. We have had exploding noses, terrorist threats, and MI5 storming the house.

Surely the Star headline serves to build momentum against Sam, not because the story is true but because it creates the feeling that he's vulnerable. Daily star article been released, what a horrible man Sam is GET SAM OUT !!!
Daily Star: Yob Sam banned from his local
fits with his innuendo not so clean image
"i really want to promote a good image for the deaf community"
BIG Brother frontrunner Sam Evans has been branded ''a potty-mouthed fraud'' by the landlord of his local boozer
Publican Craig Davies also revealed he had banned Sam after he hit customers with a pool cue and treated staff "like skivvies". Deaf Sam has won over viewers with his Harry Styles looks and cheeky chappy image.
The 23-year-old is the 8-1 bookies' favourite to win on Monday, but Craig said: "He is a horrible, arrogant little sh*t."
Craig, 42 who runs The South Star, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, spoke out yesterday to plead with viewers not to vote for him.
He said: "I've banned him from my boozer as he's a rude, obnoxious, arrogant little kid and people should know what he is like.
"The Sam they see on Big Brother is a fake."
Craig's pub is near the training ground of Sam's football team West End United, who play in the Carmarthenshire League.
He said Sam was friendly at first until going on Channel 4's Deal Or No Deal early this year.
Craig revealed: "Sam thought because he'd been on TV he was a celebrity. He started being rude and offensive.
"He swore at my staff and treated them like skivvies. He upset customers by whacking them with his pool cue because they got in the way of his shots."
Sam's club apologised and asked him to lift the ban but Craig refused to do so.
He said: "They may have said sorry but Sam didn't. Every time I've seen him on Big Brother looking like butter wouldn't melt, I've thought: 'You're acting!' "It'd be the worst thing in the world if he won.
"His head would get so big it wouldn't fit in the Valleys."
Last night Sam's family declined to comment.

I still want the twins out over him (though I doubt that will happen) and him actually doing stuffis a good thing to me..but many others disagree. He came across very badly. Also those who supported him for being a fencesitter have now realised he is anything but. So he has lost the 'nice' vote.

He lost the nice vote for saying how he felt and was being honest?, Clearly Dexter was after the cash and to walk out, All the housemates knew it but Sam was the only one who piped up, Mainly because he cant stand the guy, Cant blame Sam one bit and tbh he barely said anything to Dexter.

Sam is definitely a bore and has recently exhibited some of the aggressive tendencies which, allegedly, have led to him being banned from his local pub and being branded a yob.
Nice guy he ain't. It's just he has spent so much time ducking beneath the radar and sleeping that we have only just started to see this other side of him.

Thats not quite what I said. But he DID come across extremely bitter that the twist had gone in Dexters favour. Even Sam fans are agreeing with that too
The problem is, a lot of his support is for him being 'nice'. And he showed that he was not just this sweet little boy that everyone thought he was last night. SO he has now lost the nice vote.
Along with that (and I think this is the main reason) with vote to evict, whoever does the most when the lines are open, is the most likely to go. None of the others have done anything. Sam has argued. So the argument will go against him..its wrong, but thats how vote to evict works, and the very reason we lost Dan.

He lost the nice vote for going on how he did..there are ways to be honest, and throwing the toys out of the pram the way he did is not one of them. There was no reason to throw such a strop about it. As I said, it came across as extremely bitter..especially the bit about Dexter not deserving to be in the final.

As a 40/1 outsider, he will have been watched by the real gamblers, he was not that bad in the highlights, not as bad as Dexter to be honest.
For his odds to drop that far at the bookies some big money bets have been placed. The Daily Smut article will have had a major impact on this.
I don't know how much a difference the public vote will have had on this so far.
Hopefully he still has the majority of his fans and they will save him
from going tonight.

Yup this was a big problem too. I think if he goes, the bookies are partly responsible for setting the odds like that. When Jemima (?) left, Emma said there was only 70 or so votes in it. I dont remember the exact numbers. SO the vote numbers are clearly extremely low.
Put a £50 bet on someone at 40/1, its a 2 grand return. Well worth voting a few hundred times to try to win your bet.
And a few hundred votes could easily swing the result.

All the housemates knew what Dexter had done and Sam was the only one who said anything because the others are so scared of what the public would think, Sam hasn't played a game all the way through and seems a genuine lad, Dexter is a rat and got found out but still people want to attack Sam for saying what most of us thought anyway, Its pathetic.

He was definitely 40/1 before the highlight show.
It was crazy odds when the others were all below 3/1 IMO

Yeah all looks a bit fishy.
At such high odds it would not take much for the bookies to get jittery:joker:
They will have been laying off bets all night to even out the odds more.:spin:

I follow the odds very closely, as I like to occasionally have a bet. With Bet365 he was even 50/1 for a small amount of time.

But he wouldn't have treated the others this way if they had taken the lowest amount. Only Dexter. He's still the scapegoat in there. :bored:
