The money grabbing, publicity seeking liar played well but should have owned up yesterday when trying to run with the cash.
He has let his fans down and shafted his friends, we all had a true insight to the act that is Dexter.

I can't agree with the idea that he's a money grabbing liar. The bad manners of the rest of the nominated housemates was terrible. Whatever they thought about Dexter they should have congratulated him on making it through. Sam in particular was completely unaffected by the result, yet he showed really bad form and the usual childishness.

Very true mate, I am amazed why he has such support despite the fact that he is very sly and devious and a massive game player as revealed by the latest twist. I really hope he doesnt win

Not congratulating him on making it to the final does not deny the fact that he chose a lower amount with the intent of leaving with it, knowing that the other nominated housemates would go for figures between £100,00 and £90,000 that is why he went for £88,0000. Its sad how you are trying to justify his greed.

Except, of course, that he didn't know! None of them could have known! And what of it? The Twins also chose a lower amount than they could have, and asked BB if they would keep the money twice (edited out on the highlights show).

Because it is a game? And his slyness is entertaining to people? You're only amazed because you dislike him. Calling him a ladyboy in the topic of your comment really doesn't do much for your option.

I have supported Dexter from the start, but unlike most Dexter fans I do not see him through rose tinted glasses.
He is a player, a liar and a cheat. Yes, he would have taken that £88,000 without question.

High Five. He showed his true two-faced side last night not picking the highest number. ****ing scumbag, thats what he is. Pretending to be something else in the house so people will like him. But its very easy to see through his maskerade of lies.

Well he had to pick some amount, and if one of them was forced to go, it would have been any of them after Sam because he'd removed the £100K. People seem to forget that. How does any of this make Dexter a cheat?
I truly don't think he wanted to go. I'm being honest, no rose-tinted glasses required.

Life is a game.
Dexter is playing the only game he knows- he's a two faced, lying, devious con man, with no friends on the outside- tells you a lot about a person when they get to the age of 28 and they have no one to call a friend.
He's well suited for being in the BB house, what I don't understand is the third eye, us!
How the hell he's managing to convince the outsiders, how they give the benefit of doubt, time and time again. The guy, ( used loosely) is playing the game he's played all his life and it's so easy to see as a bystander what he's all about. He's actually not very good at it, the problem is there is no one strong enough or cares enough to stand up to him and rip him to pieces- power to Sam, who has seen right through him.
As for the cash- he'd have taken it in an instant and the sh!t that he came up with about donating some to Sam etc- the guy is despicable, we wouldn't have seen him for dust.
What BB should have done was fill the case with Monoply money and let the little scroat walk out of the house with that- Oh the shock when he opened it up in the studio with Emma shouting at him - Secret and Lies and now do one!!!!

He could have picked a much higher figure though, close to the £100,000.
As a gambler he picked low enough to take the money but not low enough to not get enough money.

Dexter knew exactly what he was doing by picking the 88k....If he honestly wanted to stay he would have picked the 99k....but he picked an amount that would be worth leaving the BB house early for and the right amount picked without raising too much suspicion that he did it deliberately. It was a gamble leaving the 99k, but with Charlie following him he could pretty much predict she would pick it.
Of the four the only two that were selfless were Sam and Charlie. Sam knew by picking the 100k he had no chance of leaving with the loot and Charlie the same. They werent after the money but the ticket to the finals. They were unaware that there was a twist and if BB had let the one with the least amount of money to leave then the prize pot would have been severely depleted so to stay was not about the money but to see the show through to the end.
BB did not reward the most selfless one, but the most selfish....

So the twins didn't pick the highest number available to them either, and yet you ignore this. You said that Dexter was a cheat, how did he cheat? You are using hindsight to judge Dexter (and only Dexter) but neither he, nor any of the others, could know who would choose what.

He knew he was picking the lowest..because he knew all the others were going to go high.
Now I have absolutely no problem with that, if any one of them wanted the money, good on them, I know if I was offered it on a plate I would take it.
It is his lying that is the problem, he was caught out good and proper and then went on to waffle on about different reasons for doing it. The housemates were not happy with it and who can blame them.

He didn't 'know', that would have been impossible. If he'd have thought the twins had picked the highest, he'd have been wrong wouldn't he?
Since one of them would have gone with some money, according to BB, no they don't have the right to be angry. The anger stemmed from Dexter being saved.

You know I dont blame him for picking the 88,800.00... he knew that would be the lowest and was hoping to walk off with it.
However I thought he would have been more astute to think they would not leave the winner with possibly as little as 6,000.00... that aside Dexters mistake was not being honest. He should have held his hands up and just said he didnt think he was going to win so he took the gamble instead of trying to excuse the selfish behaviour.

It is probably a combination of both tbh, their belief Dexter was to take the money & go regardless of what he has said about it not been about the money & the fact he got a free pass to the final even though he would have taken the money.

Dexter knew exactly what he was doing he picked a sum nobody would pick as the others picked higher, He was clever then it backfired, When BB announced he wasn't going to get the money you could tell he was gutted and then said thank god, What a liar he is, I cant believe people fall for his tricks.

By studying the form of previous series, the figure to choose would have been
£50K or under. It would not have been clever to choose above that, as BB would hardly leave the winner with less than half, IMO. I agree with those who have said that if one of them had gone £50K or under, they would actually have go it and walked.

He went 3rd. There was 99k left for him to pick but he didn't.
He chose the 88k out of the 44k because he was being greedy plain and simple.
There was no sequence in the figures, there was no gambling man thoughts, there was no picking of my lucky numbers and there was absolutely no problem with his eyes.
He chose not to take the highest number himself out of pure greed!

You are merely speculating and Dexter could not have known what the others were going to do. The twins did not choose the highest number available to them either. They then asked BB if they would keep the money twice.
It would not take much brains to realise that BB would not leave the winner with £6K and it was not unreasonable to expect a twist. Dexter just had the luck of the draw.

The twins were second and took the 2nd highest amount available on that board. So they clearly knew they weren't going to take the lowest amount, because there was only 1 amount higher and there were 2 people still left to pick. They are also young and naive to an extend, and Joe wanted to go anyway, so clearly obvious they would think that just possibly it was for real. However they still picked the 2nd highest number after all that, so it basically cancelled them out.
Why do you think Dexter wanted to go last. Because he wanted to play his options against what the others had picked and look better at having to take the lowest amount with the public. He didn't win that fight against Charlie so ended up going 3rd and still taking a lower amount than what was on offer to him (eg. 99k). That's a gamble he took and it paid off for him. Only problem was he hadn't thought out a good BS story to explain his greed. I expect deep down he's kicking himself for not taking the 44k, as he would've been able to walk out the door with it.
Where do you get 6k from? Total left would have been 11,200.

This doesnt quite wash, given that they didnt know there was a board with different amounts on at the time he said he wanted to go last. They didnt know they could guess (because thats all they could do, the amounts were random) at what others had picked, until they went into the room.

The current public viewers of BB will get the winner they deserve, it's as simple as that. Everyone finds their own level.
If they want to give 100k to a Dexter or a Gina, plus spending lots of their own money voting for them as well, it's just a reflection of the society we live in today - or to be accurate, a reflection of the majority of the public who watch reality game shows. The GBB isn't so great these days.
I'm not spending a penny voting for any of them. I only ever voted to keep Dan in this year.
