If Sam went tonight it would be because he's the biggest threat to [insert other housemate here].

He made the admirable first choice in the latest twist. By choosing the highest price on the board he was passing up the money to stay in the game knowing there may be very little left should he win in the final. He very clearly stated this and I hope that certain people who have spent the past 24 hours twisting this to suit their own favorite's needs know this deep down.

It was fantastic to watch him again stand up to Dexter and back up his words. Funny how this young, Welsh guy with minimal life experience and a hearing impairment is capable of paring down an articulate distaste for con-man Dexter's lies while Dexter, a "seasoned playboy with a gambling addiction past" sits flustered, contorting his rat-like face, batting his made-up eyelashes and fumbling for even the slightest explanation for his actions.

It's only a game but Sam's played fair. If he does walk tonight hopefully it is with a large sum of the prize fund just to kick greedy Dexter where it hurts.

Are you kidding ? Sam ain't a threat to anyone - except maybe the people in his local pub !
Where he thinks he's the great I Am cos he won on deal or no deal - its obvious all he's interested in is free money !

Look at at odds on oddschecker.com he's joint fave to go with charlie and sophie.

People looked at at his 40/1 opening odds and people saw a good chance to make money, they now voting to evict him out like mad to cash in, he is going given the incoming bad edit he will go this time if tellymix is to be trusted.

Even if he is phony, Dexter is very watchable. Haters even admitted this on BBOTS.

Also like Dexter, more likeable than Sam. Dexter is witty and made me lol quite a few times especially at his Charlie and Hazel pensioner commentary.

If he isnt concerned about the money, then he should not have been bothered with Dex's decision. Even if the twist were real and Dexter walked off with most of the prize fund, it shouldnt have bothered Sam in the least since he isn't there for the money. But he was bothered. Hmmm. Self-righteous twat. I hope he get's Alex'ed on Monday, I really do. She was seen as the favorite heading into the final two years ago and came in third. I hope Sam is third so Dexter can see him out the door, assisted by Gina.

Oh yeah sorry.
I forgot no-one is ever allowed to criticize him for his ACTIONS.

Of course, he can lay into anyone he likes using aggressive intimidating behaviour and throwing swear words round like confetti.

Wow, what a great role model that young man is :)

Someone please give him the moral highground !

It was a great result last night after seeing all the, clearly wrongly, emphasis placed on the betting odds thrown out,all this nonsense too of Sam being a bully, the most ridiculous thing I have read as to him really.
There has been no bully in the house this series at all nor has anyone been bullied either.

Sophie was seen as a potential winner and she went out, all this stating a forum in full flight would see Sam out, totally discarded by the public vote.
Well done to all for being in the final but really well done to Sam for, despite the attempts to get all and sundry voting him out, quoting on an almost hourly basis new betting odds and that the forums were turning against Sam.
He still won through and is there in that final where now his supporters can at last have the opportunity to cast their votes for him.

Even under vote to evict Sam stayed.
The title of this thread is 'The rumours of Sam's demise has been greatly exaggerated', my goodness that is so right as was demonstrated by the public last night.
'What demise' could have been an alternative title too,his demise didn't exist in reality with the mass of the numbers of people who actually bother to vote.

Great post. Mass voting among forum members to get another HM out never works, as I have learned in the past. The majority of the public don't go on forums and go by what they see in the H/L show and it's their vote that counts.
They seen that Dexter was devious and that Sam had the balls to confront him about it. Sam stayed.

What by lying in bed and sitting on the fence until he was forced to say something in the final week. Don't complain if there are alot of fence sitters in CBB :nono: and seeing as you see fit to call Dexy a Rat I shall call Sam a Weasel :hmph:

Not if the story is true. Llanelli is not a village, it's the largest town in its county - population 50,000.

The landlord might get some criticism for speaking to the press. But the people Sam has whacked with his pool cue and the pub staff he has abused will be very supportive. As will others who don't like hassle in their local.

Overall the landlord may get a "well done boyo" for dealing with a local yob.

About 20 villages put together maybe. I suspect 99% of Llanelli's population have never heard of, and don't give a toss about, the "local" boy-man.

They may feel a bit annoyed at the article for drawing attention to the fact that yobbish behaviour exists even in their neck of the woods but that's about it.
