View Full Version : In the house vs Out the house
Constantly seeing people bringing up articles about the housemates about things that happened before they entered BB, most people normally judge the housemates on the way they have been inside the house or at least try to...or has that all changed this year depending on who you support?
So....the only ones that haven't had anything negative from outside the house printed or said about them would be the twins, does that mean they should win then???
Do you think housemates should be judged for actions inside the house only or do you take everything into consideration when choosing who you want to win?

This IS a democracy, isn't it?

I, and I think several others, take into account PEOPLE and what they have done in their lives, Big Brother is a tiny 10 week period where they lie to their heart's content, I take THAT period with a pinch of salt.

It certainly adds interest to know about their real lives as opposed to the one projected for BB purposes.
If there is a discrepancy, why should we not know about it?

I've never understood really why a lot of people say "I don't care what they've done outside of the house etc.", find it strange that you'd want to watch people live out their lives on your screens every night, spend a lot of time talking about them and their actions on here, but have no interest in outside stories which give a reflection on who they actually are as people, especially if those stories give a different perspective to the one that they project in the house or is shown on the highlights

Generally dont care about anything outside of the house.
Had to add the generally because I have a feeling someone will try and be a clever **** and say 'but what if the papers found out they were a pedo, would you not care' or something
Articles about people in the house are usually bull****. But even things that probably arent bull**** about their lives (eg. Harry saying he loved foxhunting) I dont care about tbh. Its all about how they are inside the house to me.

My thoughts exactly. I know I would prefer to know if someone is a lying scumbag rather than they get given £100K and then you say wow, I wish I'd known that!!

Why does BB even bother to have "back stories" and VTs if we are not supposed to mention them?

Dunno. The VTs are nearly always absolute bull**** anyway, so they are extremely pointless

:idc: perhaps the twins haven't lived long enough to have any muck raked up about them yet, the worst they've probably done is got caught bunking off school or having a schoolyard fight
