It is a game show after all, and to my mind the best game player should win.

Every one of them is playing a game. Its the type of game that some seem to have a problem with.
Any housemate that says they do not have a gameplan is lying tbh. Even purposely keeping quiet to avoid nominations is a gameplan

Nothing at all. Lord Aaron was a gameplayer and he's the best winner we've ever had!

The game they play is survival. It is exactly the same game plan every one of has has to survive life with other human beings except they do it under a microscope. :pipe:

The voting audience only likes three things, nice bland people, people who ***** out their sob stories and morons. If you don't come under any of these categories than your chances of winning are almost non-existent.

There is a limit to playing a game that gets people's backs up.
Playing with people's emotions, getting people to fall out with each other or just blatantly inventing a fake life are just some of the things.
I don't care if its a game show some things are just cringey and wrong regardless.

But Aaron won. I didn't watch it myself but apparently he was a gameplayer

Agreed, I reckon that Dexter is one of the best game players in there, and I prefer him over Sam, who has done sod all to entertain.

There's a few exceptions to the rule but most of the time the moron/sob story *****/bland but inoffensive person will win.
BB12 ended differently because it was the online vote that clinched it for Aaron.

See I think Dexter is the worst gameplayer in there :joker:
His gameplan failed drastically in the early weeks(or appeared to, unless theres more to it than I think), and he has tried to salvage himself ever since. Failing at that too.
He had a lot of the public onside though I guess, so he can't be doing too badly

If you have a complex personality, competitive and generally a real human being than you will be villified. The twins are testament to this since they've constantly been acting and reminding each other of the cameras so that the act doesn't slip. The voting audience is what ruins most BB series.

It can't be that bad. It got him this far. :joker: He was AMAZING during the live task to win immunity. That was genius gameplay! :worship:

I do apologise. I didn't watch it but I didn't think he was bland etc. This is why I love Kate as a winner, best by far
What has Dexter actually done to be seen as a game player? I think you're giving him too much credit there

I think he did have a game plan when he entered the House, but it went wrong. So he had to think on his feet.

Because the specifics of audience-manipulating gameplans are usually gross.

being a game player is fine but depends on how they play,
being a bore plan doesn't justify them winning. doing a wolfy and taking the public for idiots is not a good plan. doing a callum and pretending to be nice when your not is another bad game play.
the best game players will always be ones who dont any of the above

I would like someone more if they were open to the public about playing a game, otherwise I find it irritating and like they are trying to fool the public as well as the HMs

I have no problem with game playing, but finding out that Dexter has had rodeoing, even if he hasnt done this as pro Dexter fans say then boasting he has is repulsive, Sam and his comments towards woman, its so disrespectful, it might be a lads thing but you dont do it on national tv or infront of woman.

Charlies a bloody idiot she doesnt fancy Dexter. Nor does he fancy her,let alone love her. Shes an iritating passive aggressive, i feel, i feel, me meme.Dexters gone for her because a man who engages in deviant behaviour would target her, he sees her as weak, i mean the girl dont even know her own mind. Dexter isnt a man on a journey, sure he has had therapy and he is using that dialogue to his advantagostitutes, sugar babies fine, other things fine, but as soon as a man behaves in a way that crosses a womans right to say what happens to her body all bets are off.
Yep from reading others threads ive done a complete turn around, yiu learn things here you wouldnt by watching an hour. For that Im grateful, if i could delete all previous threads i would.
That leaves the twins and Gina.

Sorry but for those who are playing it (i.e. everyone except Jack and Joe IMO), it can be regarded as no more than acting.
And acting isn't real life so you can't say it's "morally wrong".
It's a gameshow.
Trying to win the show by gaining a tactical advantage over others by "playing the game" means HM's often show themselves more, trip themselves (or others up) up.
However they also show best use of their POSITIVE individual skills i.e. keeping cool, staying friends etc
It's what makes it intriguing.
Does it mean you win by ALWAYS manipulating others ?
Of course not.
Most of the time people are genuine and the public WILL also take into account their kindness, sincerity etc and their actions too.
But you have to spot what's done for acting and when HM's are just being themselves.
Short of murder or bullying (which BB puts a stop to anyway) it's game on and really, the contestants should be fully aware of the risks before they decide to enter the show.

Lets say you have a daughter and she told you that a guy who she is going out with tonight said to her upon first meeting her .... show us your gash for bangers and mash? or how's your fanny? i mean family?
Would you happily wave her off in the taxi to meet this wonderful chap or would she be grounded for the next 3 years and told she must never ever see this guy?

i mean the girl dont even know her own mind.
Trust me she does !
Like you say she doesnt fancy Dexter and she's just playing a part in the showmance (at least while on the show)
If I may say, no-one likes disrepect to women.
But honestly don't think that's "playing the game" because no-ones using it to gain any tactical advantage.
I honestly wouldn't judge some of their claims too seriously either.

The problem with being a game player is that no one is a good enough actor to get away with it apart from Gina. It is better to be yourself, then you don't need to act fake. Gina just about gets away with it.

Id rather withdraw favourable comments towards HM's that have bragged about these type of behaviours.

Oh sure, I don't blame you for that !
Personally, I try to avoid external news articles etc and just concentrate on what I see in the house.
But maybe I'm wrong.
Trouble is you don't really know what's true out there and what isn't.

Charlie has !
The vast majority and none of the BBOTS panel tonight haven't got a clue why she's there and how well she's manipulates situations to suit herself and evict others like Hazel and Callum
It is better to be yourself, then you don't need to act fake. Gina just about gets away with it.
I can see through her ! ;)
But I ADMIRE her gameplaying skills so it's a big plus for me. :)
You're right though.
For example, I'm sure Jack and Joe are just being themselves
Unless I've missed their sneakiness but I doubt it !
