Oh and there's rumors that Lauren Conrad (Maggie) has flown to LA with Andrew Garfield to join him on the Talking Dead tonight. The Talking Dead Guests are supposed to only be Scott Gimple (Exec Prod, and Showrunner)and Andrew...there was no announcement of a special guest outside of Andrew (usually that means a character is getting killed off and their actor shows up on Talking Dead) but maybe her schedule got cleared up and she decided to show up.

Stephen Yeun may also show up, although he did Talking Dead last week.

if it is Maggie I wouldn't be surprised she was a big rumor since it was announced that a character was going to get killed off

They made us think that a main character would die and they trolled us hard.

I have mixed feelings about that finale...

I was pissed right off at first because I feel as if the producers told a pack of lies to get people hyped up, saying that a big character was getting killed off, there would be an uproar with fans etc? but then again I am quite happy now that I think about it because no one did get killed off which I suppose was even more shocking and I was worried for Daryl since he's a fan favourite....

So like Jords said it was a good set up with the cliffhanger for next season and I like that Ricks now back to his old self but I wanted to know where Beth was and also Carol/Tyrese/Judith.

That group from the terminus are clearly cannibals then because there was a bunch of skeletons with no flesh left on them in a bundle behind the fence and that scary Mary had too much meat on that barbecue for it to be anything else. And I don't think that was Beth's cardigan Mary was wearing? it was too long I think..

How cheeky of the terminus gang to shove them all in that cart and steal their things, rude bastards :bored:

Have to wait 7 months now :eek:

It was ****, the second half of this series has basically been building up to Terminus and to finally get there only for the payoff to be delayed until the next season is a slap in the face. They pulled this **** last series and they had the nerve to do it again. What's the betting that they'll be stuck in terminus until S5's mid season finale? This show is all build up and no payoff and I honestly don't think I'll bother with S5.

Andrew Lincoln talked about that scene. Greg, The show's special Make Up artist (As in he makes all the zombies) used "Blood" and Raw Chicken to make that scene look very realistic. It looked so real to me.

Dissapointing finale, I was relieved nobody I liked was killed off though. It never left me shocked like some of the previous episodes but it did leave me really wanting to see what happens next so it has ended on a good cliff hanger which is a positive. The next season is set up quite nicely now and it should be really good and interesting to see how they get out, find out what's really happening there, where Beth is, where Tyreese & Carol are and Rick seeing his child again.. It's all built up for some good episodes next season. Beth better bloody be alive, although its looking unlikely. So glad they are finally back as a group though.

I really loved that episode and the whole season actually. I'd go so far as to say Part 2 of that Season was my favourite yet, they really managed to create a sinister and really creepy vibe through the last 8 episodes. Loved it and thought the finale was just perfect.I was ready to give up on it after Season 3 but they've really managed to pull me right back in again

save the world stuff silly. the ending was so disappointing are they just going to rehash the govener story but without him. they meet their old friends but they didn't seem interested to see eachother. poor ending i have to say.
and everyone seemed to act really weird what was the kid all about shouting at his dad etc seemed so unreal. everyone was like in a trance throughout the whole program

Trouble is Niamh, don't you think it is looking unlikely they will be back on the road again in Season five though? They will probably overpower the Cannibals halfway though the season after a few of their own get eaten first, then take over a pretty strong looking stronghold of Terminus. So can't see them being back on the road anytime soon.

mmm I don't know but I do think it'll be a good storyline either way, what happens after that is anyones guess, maybe they will all decide to get that genius guy to wherever he's going?

Terminus will get destroyed when Rick's group escapes, I can't see them settling down in a location properly for a while.

I went on youtube to see if I could get previous TWD episodes up to see if there were any clues as to stuff nicked in Terminus belonging to Carol, Tyresse, Judith and Beth, to see if they were there or had been there. All I got were a man showing clips and talking about those clips. He mentioned the woman cooking the meat was Denise Crosby, so I googled the name, and saw she had played Tasha Yar in TNG, couldn't believe how much she had changed even though she is a lot older now.

It's really good. Season 1 is outstanding, season 2 is good but was a little bit dead in places. Season 3 picks up the pace a little but gets boring in the second half. First half of season 4 is better than the second half of season 3 and the second half of season 4 is better than the first half.

It didn't lead anywhere and it didn't feel like a season finale. It was a slap in the face. When you base half a season around hyping and building up the last episode it better deliver and they had the nerve to finish it like that? Terrible.

This is the second time they've done it too, Series Three's finale was a let down in order to stretch it's ****ty Governer story over to the next season and they'll do the same here. It's really ****ty writing and unsatisfying on every level. You need some sort of payoff when you build something like Termnus up over a whole half of a season and to just slap the audience with a big 'To Be Continued' sign is disgraceful, the cliffhanger wasn't even that well done, it fell flat like the entire episode that preceded it.

No resolution, no answers, no point. That's the Season Finale summed up in six words.

I think it's a definite, when they were shooting at Rick and co, guiding them to the train cart thing if you will they ran past a fenced off area that was full of human skeletons with the meat stripped off of them D:

Just started watching this a few days ago and I'm up to Season 3 Episode 12 already! It's so good!

I agree with the comments about it getting boring when they stay in the same place for too long. The whole reason I liked Season 1 was because there were so many movements/developments in such a short space of time.

I found Sophia's death the saddest, and it was annoying how half the season was wasted looking for her when she was right beside them all along as a walker.

Season 3 is ok but it's a bit slow, I can't stand The Governor and Andrea went from my favourite to one of my least favourite. Rick is absolutely unbearable compared to the first season, he's so arrogant and heartless, he's turning into Shane which I absolutely hate :yuk:

the last half of season 4 was good for the most part. some of the best of the show. still think its overrated though. especially over here when you see the ratings its gets compared to many other shows i think are better. like Breaking Bad. hopefully the next season continues with good consistency instead of being up and down.

I like Sasha too, but I have a feeling she'll end up dead. And lol @ Jacqui randomly killing herself in Season 1, it was as if the writers said "oh, we haven't killed off a black person yet, lets kill the irrelevant women without a storyline" :joker:

And why is it impossible for more than one black man to be alive at a time? When T-Dog died, Oscar took his place, and when Oscar died, Tyreese showed up :laugh:

Watched the first part so I'm avoiding spoilers beyond that point in here. The last episode>>. I'm enjoying it more once I accept all the plot holes and the fact it's different to the comic books. The stereotypical "Characters are idiots" in this sort of genre is annoying at times, but it's necessary or it would be zero drama.

Daryl and Herchel's daughters are my fave characters so far. The Governor should of been so much darker..HBO would of had him a lot more similar to the comic books probably, but the actor done alright with what he was given.

Shane and Herchel were faves initially in S2 and then 3-4, but you know...

I only finished it about a week before I started over... You digest more of the story second time around... little things you may have missed in the first run. This was true of Breaking Bad also.. I did 2 runs through it and enjoyed it more second time..

Up to date at last. It ended how I expected really. The whole second half of the season was a bridge to the next season and an attempt to make us care about the characters more. It's fair enough, but this Character detail should of been done way back in Season 2/early 3. Set up nicely for next season though, but it does make me think we may not see the Saviours and Negan(now that would be an epic villain) until at the end of the season if at all at this pace. :(


Someone that has read the comics, does the whole group head to Washington or just a few of them?

Hopefully just a few of them, it is much better when they're not all together

The group in the comics is really different to the group right now, but....

They all do, but it's not bad, because they aren't ever really properly safe on the way there like at the farm or Prison

They don't actually spend too much time in Washington, because Eugene admits he's just a Science Teacher and hasn't been in contact with Government and all of Washington is destroyed anyway so they have to move on to the best bit imo

Preach, the fourth season had potential up until the Governor stuff and then it got it's **** together for the second half only to waste it all on a piss poor finale.

I just feel like every season going forward is likely to follow the same formula, a good start and then a mid season lull followed by one or two decent episodes capped off with an unsatisfying finale which made all the build up prior to it pointless.

The best thing AMC could do with The Walking Dead is to lower the amount of episodes per season. S3 and S4 have struggled with sixteen episodes and have stretched everything out with filler because of it. If they opted for a 8-13 episode season then it would be so much better since the pacing would be less erratic and it would generally be more satisfying. I might not have minded the last episode of S4 so much if I didn't have to wade through so much build up to get to it.

I don't know why but my favourite episodes (since Shane died) have been the really slow ones that don't add a lot to the plot at all, like the episode where we find out what the Governor has been up to since we last saw him and that one with Daryl and Beth getting drunk. I really like them all being separate as well and just getting a couple of random groups per episode.
