Fitz (Fitzerald grant) is the president of the US, olivia pope (based on an actual woman that worked with the president Clinton. She helped him during the Monica lewinsky scandal. But they stress the real olivia pope DID NOT sleep with the pres) is the go to girl to help the rich and powerful bury their deep secrets or to get them out of trouble.

Olivia and fitz met when he was still governor and she was helping with his campaign. they fell in love and began an affair. At first you don't feel sorry for his wife because it seems like all she cares about is him being president and that she doesn't really love him.

eventually olivia stops working with the pres and open her own firm. They are called the gladiators (fans love them) it's full of people Olivia saved from disaster like Huck (a fan favorite)


all characters develop over the seasons but at the centre of all the craziness, top secret organization B613, Olivia's brilliant father :hehe: is the affair of fitz and olivia. and the later seasons jake is trying to win olivias heart and sometimes it seems like he's the wise choice because he genuinely loves her and it's not as complicated as her and fitz but i'm team fitz. the chemistry is second to none.:cheer2:

What made me smile this morning was the report that the England football team will sing the Marseilles at tonight's match against France, in solidarity following the Paris attacks. The other thing that made me smile about this is that most of the players struggle to sing God Save The Queen, which is considerably shorter than the Marseilles... and in English.
