Blame jim davidson, i dont think last nights finale was produce well enough, emma came out too early on stage, marcus bentley voice was used too much, and the momentum of the show was just lost by the end, not everyone liked jim apart from the delousional that though he had been bullied, to me hes still a homophobic disabled basher.

To be honest, I find finales the most boring episode in the whole series. Given it was a mid-week final and was on for two hours the ratings are pretty fair. It's a shame they weren't higher although it's not too bad on the whole!

The finals received some negative press aswell saying it was dull and dragged out. I agree to a certain point, there were to many clips and and a lot of stuff was just rehashed and nothing new was really revealed in the interviews.
But even in these articles they cant deny its been an amazing series.
One example.

I went a bit overboard biting back at the comments of people saying "I have never watched this garbage, get it off the telly" If they have never watched why comment and how can they call it sh!te lol.

I found the 'How can anyone watch this crap?' comments on the Jasmine confronts Casey video hilarious for the same reason, why watch and comment on something you claim you don't like.

Deserved a little more but i'm still happy! Can't wait to see the officials!!

I think we may see a 3m official. Currently with 17 days of officials it was at 2.95m, so with in the final 4 shows getting high numbers, it shoule ensure it stays at 2.95m or climbs. 2.95m would be rounded to 3m. I doubt it would drop.

Well, those ratings are still high! It has been a great series though, ratings wise.

There was always the worry that the 11pm finish would put pay to a launch sized figure, the show was at 9 this year rather than the usual 10pm slot, so it will have attracted viewers who wouldn't have otherwise watched it at 10 because of early work starts and who wouldn't be able to watch till 11 mid-week and would have to record it. The share was brilliant, up on last year, and the official should jump a bit.
Perhaps they should have run it 8:30 - 10:30 (and then we still could have had a 90 minute BOTS too), C4 used to start it at half eight sometimes with a half an hour break at 9:30 before it returned 10 - 11, I quite liked that schedule too.
I have missed the 10pm shows this year I must admit, I know 9 is better ratings wise but still. Then again there's been a fair few uncensored c words so they're pushing some boundaries a bit which pleases me.
They should of done the final on Friday

Lee's eviction wasn't it, I hope the final can jump this much.
The series average is so close to hitting 3 million, currently at 2.97 do you reckon it can break into 3.0?

That Sunday rating is pretty amazing for Channel 5! I wouldn't at all be surprised if BB15 and CBB14 start to see more Sunday night evictions

2.84m against NTA's is great and i'm impressed sundays rating jumped like 1m viewers! When we get the final 3 officials it's going to break 3m viewers surely! I hope the official is like 3.2m, up almost a million from last summer!! :amazed:

Yeah, i can't wait to find out what it got. Hopefully i got more than the launch but i doubt it.
Here they are:
Monday 27th - 3.49million (3.18m, +1 308k)
Tuesday 28th - 3.41million (3.08m, +1 334k)
Wednesday 29th - 3.71million (3.53m, +1 184k)
Official series average: 3.04million
Incredible figures. So that means the final just managed to beat the launch by 20,000 viewers - when was the last time that happened?

Awesome.
I think the last time a final beat the launch was BB7 so the first time in 8 years.

You're absolutely right. :D
Really hope this has a positive effect on the civilian series in the summer... but it'll be a tough challenge for them to top the last one

BB14 averaged over 2 million I think aswell, it really pissed me off that the officials went awol there's like 32 +1 figures missing so it averaged 1.9 without those.
So annoying.

Not only did it beat the launch, but the final was the highest rated final on Channel 5 and beat the official of 2.61m for CBB11 final.
It was also the 3rd highest rating of all time on Ch5 for the show just behind CBB8 launch and CBB11 launch.

I loved CBB11 more than this series but I wanna know how the launch ratings were so high surely CBB9 and 10 should have gotten better launch ratings than CBB11 considering people were still curious with the cross over from C4-5 or was it because of Speidi/Rylan being rumoured housemates or something.

Well CBB10 launch was in the summer. CBB11 launch, I think I recall the weather being terrible, so helped it.
For anyone interested,
The Jim Davidson interview last night got 1.3m and a 5.1 % share.
