The looks of it Eastenders is going 5 days week for the first 4 week of 2014
there as not been an official announcement

I wonder if this trial to see if dose better on Weds then Friday, as Friday ep are no longer working for them!

Wednesday 8th 2014
Wednesday 15th 2014
Wednesday 22nd 2014

Well don't know about weds 29th of Jan (Which is b'day, where i turn the BIG 29 (SO OLD) ,

All 8pm

I do remember they did something like this 1999 on Friday, then year later added the 4TH one

i think with doble corri on fridays and emmerdale - maybe its a good move.

I think it's only 5 a week for three weeks in January and then it's back to four a week.

Wednesdays are crap for telly so it'll be good to have something decent on

people do realise the more episodes the higher the dip in quality? it means more dragging out storylines and fillers

Exactly. The show's been in terminal decline for well over a decade now and it's no coincidence that it started shortly after the fourth episode was introduced. Mightn't have been so noticeable at first but I remember Santer's era in particular had stories dropped for weeks on end and virtually all episodes that weren't a big reveal were barely watchable.

It's not adequately funded for 4 episodes per week, never mind 5.

well now i think they had rid the dead wood and getting more adult story lines thanks to david wicks - they may be heeding our comments.
