I actually don't understand why the writers didn't just let the character stay in London. There are so murders in all teh soaps as if to suggest that's what life is really like in for real. They should only let racy stuff like this to be in every so many years but not continuious.

It won't be the obvious suspects. I think it will be Dennis (he is leaving, perfect excuse and there is tension over Rita) or Gary, it is no secret that Peter is leaving as Chris Gascoyne wants a break but then again he could take the rap for Carla if she did it or is framed for it by someone else.

The whole Tina/Peter storyline is contrived, farcical and total rubbish. I haven't been watching Corrie much, but had a little peek back in for Hayley's death episode.

Really - I fail to see it myself, same goes for most young women I know. He isn't particularly good looking - just thinks he is, he has far too much baggage (alcoholic) who is now pretty much a kept man by his wife.

In reality a beautiful, classy girl like Tina wouldn't be the slightest bit interested in that old has-been, when she could clearly have just about any guy she wanted. It is a totally unrealistic story line.

I just think it's funny that there's a big emphasis on this "rock band" when it's not needed really. Maybe she gets run over by the van or something.

I do think Dennis will know about it or something though, maybe Rita too later on. Rita's due a juicy storyline too I think. Any of the Barlow's/Carla will be obvious and predictable.

Not really. They plan stories six months+ in advance so they won't know what the others are doing.

Not to mention are any soap plots at all original anymore, it's hardly copying, more a lack of ideas.

I think it's sad that Michelle Keegan's leaving, Tina's a great character, she could have carried on in that role for a long time if she'd wanted, it's always sad when they kill characters off like that 'cause it (obviously) closes the door. I can understand actors and actresses wanting to move on to other things for a while and then returning to the role if they'll have them, but to just kill them off is just like... oh. That way it gets rid of another character too (whoever murdered them) so it's a bit of a shame. It'd be interesting if they killed her off and it was just a totally random murder, nobody knew who did it and eventually someone's brought to justice for it but the real focus of her murder is on how everyone else reacts to it.

Aye, glad its not going to be a full on whodunnit, especially with EastEnders doing theirs, generally Whodunnits end up being a bit obvious and boring (Who Killed Tom King, Who Killed Frank Foster)
