We had now reached the jury stage and at this point I thought we would lose a "big threat" from the game as everyone was talking about ousting this person or that but when Shaun won HoH I was surprised to see he targeted Jack F and JC.

I was even more shocked to see that Jack won PoV and decided to leave the players as they were leaving Hayden, Loukas, Sam and Pete off the hook, a choice that would come back to bite a few IP members in the arse.

In what I thought would be a close vote turned out to be, but not the way I expected as Sam seemed to side with the IP alliance and oust Jack F from the game (he was the deciding vote in that).


Jack F became the first jury member.

my strategy~
i don't actually have one
i've sort of been roped into this big alliance as you know, but i don't really trust them because i know drew/jake are close with Raph and he was curiously uninvited, and i think they like jemal too, so yeah there's obvious double-crossing potential there
and at the same time i've had some form of truces with pete and cuda, but they''re individual things
for now, my strategy (as shown in the POV) is to win all sorts of things... but not too many otherwise i'll make a name for myself... and post a lot and generally get along with everyone.
i don't have a massive desire to win, this is just my first BBUS format game and i wanted to give it a try... but at the same time i'd rather make the final 5 or 6...
in terms of threats i'd like to eliminate sooner rather than later: just raph (don't like him tbh), jemal and then probably jake ha2

My strategy is I'm currently PMing people to see who they are voting and trying to sway their opinion whilst gaining allies... Being liked and not too much of an apparent threat could get me far

My vote is for Sam. Looks like Benji might be getting removed anyway if he continues to stay ghost. If Benji does return then he's less of a threat anyway.

Strategy so far.. I've formed an alliance with Jake, Nat, Shaun, Jack and Kate. My Alliance with Jake and Nat is stronger than what it is with the other 3 at the moment though. The alliance is far too big but it will see me through to the final 6 or 7 before we start facing each other, then i believe i have a close enough bond with Jake and Nat to see me through if we can get one of either Jack, Shaun or Kate on our side each elimination to start picking my current alliance off 1 by 1. If all goes well it should see myself, Nat and Jake go far, with plenty of back stabbing. I don't plan on talking too much in the social group as i've got a few ideas how to go about the game but i dont want anyone in the group to become aware or think of me as a major threat if we get far. Jack and Shaun are doing a good job at that so hopefully if anyone plays tactically in the future to vote off the major threats then those two will be targeted.

Aligning myself with the five of them and hoping to take control of the game pretty soon if we have a majority, I trust them all for the time being and am hoping they'll all stick to their words and we can execute a week-by-week eviction pattern until it's more or less just us left. I do have my doubts though, these are pretty much all the strong players so I'm quite paranoid they're plotting behind my back or a couple of them are in secret cohorts with each other :laugh: I guess this first vote could reveal a lot

Gonna try and throw other people outside of this alliance off the scent too, maybe tell them I'm voting a way that I'm not and trying to get them to turn on each other rather than us lot.

My reasons for saving Sam is because I think it's too early on in the game to get rid of your competition. Sam is a well liked player and will be competition to everyone else as well as me IMO. From what I have read, Sam is a nice guy and feel like I can trust him later on in the game.
I feel bad benji had to be the first but I'm happy it's not me, I would of hated going first. I'm playing to win.

My strategy so far has involved forming a large alliance with Shaun, Drew, Natalie, Kate, and Jack_ whilst also forming close bonds with Raph (a given), Loukas, Sam and the two Jack's to cover my back. As it goes, our alliance is looking pretty strong and I needed to get a few more just on my side, for my own safety.

Things seemed to be getting calm again as players focused on their strategies after alliances had lost members, but things were about to take another dramatic turn after Hayden won HoH leaving Shaun frustrated and taking it out on Hayden.

With the discovery of the IP group also things started to get bitter and the two alliances started going all out for each other.


Hayden took this moment to try and get rid of Drew again by placing him up against who he perceived to be a lower level threat for the time being, Jake.

However his plans were scarpered as Drew clawed his way to a PoV win and secured his safety in the game, leaving a poor Shaun to take his place.

It wasn't even close as all the votes cast were to eliminate Shaun as he was seen as one of the biggest threats in the game.

I was literally furious when Shaun got eliminated, more so than for my own elimination. I threw a massive strop and removed myself from the Icona Pop group. I was cross about the golden key business as well, cos I didn't actually want Jemal up I wanted Hayden. I could tell he was going to be trouble when he walked in (cue Taylor Swift) but he was immune and Ben gave me 60 seconds to name someone else :bawling:

The IP alliance was now a little shaken at losing two of their big members and with their numbers dropping they started to panic. This led to a few of them to turn attentions to other alliances they had brewing in the pipeline.

Drew secured the HoH win and took this time to get his revenge on Hayden by placing Hayden up against Sam. Things looked like they would work out and the IP alliance would oust a huge threat in Hayden, however they didn't count on Jack winning PoV and saving Hayden.

With this Drew placed Loukas on the block and when it came to the votes it was a tie between Sam and Loukas, meaning Drew had the deciding vote. He chose to take out Sam from the game.

Cuda! :(, i really like the guy but i don't think i could trust him in the game! I think he would throw me under the bus if he had the chance.

How is your strategy working so far? Who are your alliances? Who do you trust?

My strategy is to try not to get into a clique yet, until about week 6 (if im still here). I don't plan to talk to anyone about my vote yet, my vote is just as important as everyone else's and i choose not to give that information away to the other players, i feel like they could use my vote against me. If anyone asks who i voted for, i simply tell them that i haven't made up my mind yet, i try to avoid the question.

I trust only one, Kate. Me and Kate have spoken and i feel like she wouldn't stab me in the back. We were partnered together at the beginning and ever since then we have been Pm'ing back and forth getting to know each other. (fingers crossed she feels the same)

The next couple game weeks of play will be interesting and i have yet to make up my mind on who i'm going to begin to start talking to further..

I'm in cahoots with Kate, Pete and Sam, sometimes with Jemal. I try to influence the vote as much as I can with some of the lesser experienced players but I still trust no-one. You can't in this game. I'm just floating at the moment in terms of gameplay, and I'm hoping people forget I finished 5th last time and just don't vote for me. I would say I'm a threat but others might not.

quite happy to coast along with this alliance but obviously the time will come where we have to turn on each other. I think Jack and Natalie are in the same boat as me, they're securing safety now but are gonna be a bit stuck later on. I'm certain Drew+Jake have other plans with other players... neither of them seem determined to get rid of certain floaters.
I intend to just keep winning things - poison the eliminees against my allies by stretching the "they targeted you! not me!" line (to be fair, they have, I haven't really targetted anyone yet, I've just been happy to vote for the ones they're suggesting) - and get through on merit... hopefully by the end, my record speaks for itself, and after the Mollie fiasco there'll be a stronger emphasis on who deserves the win than who's nice.

My strategy so far has to be on good terms with everyone and try and speak to every player in the game at some point during the day.

I trust Jack_ the most, and have been able to extract information from him which allowed me to figure out that there is a big alliance of Jack_, Shaun, Kate, Drew, Natalie and 1 other person who I haven't quite sussed out yet. I also have sub-alliances with Sam and Pete (separately) and am quite confident that I can control their votes if necessary.

I don't really have much of a strategy at the moment. It's hard to get involved in the alliance social group because other members have mainly been saying what i've been thinking so i haven't had much of an input. There will come a time when we all need to backstab each other and i feel i have a close enough alliance with Nat and Jake for them to go along with my votes when the time comes and i'm hoping i'll be able to persuade 1 or 2 more people when needed. But for now Jack seems to be revealing all of his tactics and he's giving away that he is a major threat so it could come back to haunt him when we need to get rid of someone from the group. For now i'm keeping my thoughts and tactics to myself and i was hoping i would win some HOH's to make it look good if i had to argue a case to win but they've been lucky wins so far and not much skill involved in winning them so its not too much of a loss.

Strategy wise:

Staying true to my alliance with Shaun, Jake, Drew, Kate and Nat for the time being, trying to ensure we can gain a majority (soon to be 6 vs 6 so we're almost there) and I plan to stick with them for a fair while yet, maybe until we're at final 8 or 7. I trust most of them but I am a bit paranoid they are inevitably plotting behind my back and making deals with each other, but that's to be expected :laugh:

I therefore do have a separate, secret alliance with one other player who I intend to stick with the entire game, and I hope we can soon start to try and control things and pick off the bigger players without being detected

Things for the IP group seemed to be going well especially as Jake won the next HoH. Making his BIG move of the game Jake placed Hayden and Pete up for the chop.

With Natalie winning PoV and leaving things as they were we saw Hayden following suit of Sam's exit outburst but also go into melt down mode which was hilarious to watch :love:

With Loukas being the only player to vote Pete, Hayden became the next player eliminated and the IP group could see the home stretch.

But then Pandora's box made a reappearance...

Things looked good for Drew, Jack, Natalie and Jake to be the final 4 as Jack won the HoH and placed Pete and Loukas up for the chop (much the complete despair of the jury house who saw this as a massive wasted opportunity for Jack's game).


However the box came back and the opportunity for any player to open it was there. Pete saw his chance to try and claw back as he had nothing to lose at this point and it paid off as he managed to gain PoV and take both players off the block, securing himself and Loukas a place in the game for a little longer.

Jack was once again left with a choice of who to put up and once again shot himself in the foot by overlooking Drew and jake and instead opting for JC and Natalie.

The two alliances faced off; with Drew and Jake voting JC; Pete and Loukas voting Natalie.

The choice was in Jack's hands and he made his third fatal error in the same round and chose to eliminate JC.

There was NO worth in putting Jake and/or Drew up that round, about a night after I had just made amends with them and we'd all agreed not to target one another until there were only like four of us left. Putting them up and leaving the person that stayed pissed at me, and then having the likes of Pete, Loukas and JC against me would have also been game suicide, since I would have had no allies whatsoever at that point

The plan was to wait until F5 to deal with Drew, but he won the veto anyway. And did the same at F4

With the ball now in Pete's court as he held the HoH most of the jury house expect Pete to make his BIG move and take out Drew or Jack.

Instead he opted for Jake and Jack leaving the jury house in sheer disbelief again that Drew had talked his way out of another sure fire elimination.

Jack however was given a reprieve as Kate won him the PoV and a chance to stay in the game longer.

Pete again spared Drew and instead opted for Natalie believing she was one of the games biggest threats.

For poor Natalie, her game came to an end as her two alliance members jack and Drew opted to kick her from the game with only Loukas opting to oust Jake.

Stretegy: my major alliance of Sam, Hayden and Jack_ is my main priority and with them I have a main hope of HoH and POV success. I, along with other significant others, am aiming to get rid of the main other alliance (which I believe has formed) with consists of Drew, Jake and JC mainly and it had contained Kate. I do not currently know where Loukas stands in this game, alliance wise. I am content that we have collectively got rid of one of the main alliances that threatened my game which consisted of Cuda and Kate :nono:.

My main strategy at this time is to trust the trust I've build up with certain people and hope that gets me very far in the game indeed but I am very content with my secured position in the Jury.

Obviously Hayden did (and still does) believe that I'm working with him to get myself, him and Jack to the final three, so when he was put up earlier by me he was shocked to say the least.. I told him that I only put him up because I thought Pete would go against him, and told him I'd convince Drew and Nat to keep him in.. luckily Nat won PoV and I had to do a bit of pming to JackC to get him on side, which seems to have worked! Sadly Drew is taking the full blame but I can't reveal much to Hayden incase he did end up staying...

Where do i start.

So since Shaun and Kate left my loyalties have stayed with Jake and Nat. Even before the move Jack made to save Hayden and side with him the other night my intentions were to use him as a back up for votes and safety until the time came when he needed to be voted out, preferably when there were 4/5 of us left. I have always predicted Jack was up to something since the start but i could never work it out so i've never trusted him 100% and my gut feelings were correct. My tactics have all been rather tame until a few nights ago. My aim was to see this alliance through and hope Shaun/Jack/Kate would reveal themselves enough in the social group to be big and good game players with their tactics that if any backstabbing were to take place then they would be the first targets but that was destroyed with Kate and Shaun leaving.

From the start i've known Pete, Sam Jc, Hayden and possibly Loukas were in an alliance together and when it came down to HoH the other night i knew if neither of our group won HoH then it was game over. Luckily i won it and stuck Hayden (who has been my biggest threat) and Sam up. When we saw that it was either myself or Jack winning PoV we were pretty relieved that nobody would be replaced then. Jack told us before it was revealed that he had saved Hayden and later told myself and Jake his plans to join Hayden and those two had a pretty detailed sketch of how they wanted the game to plan out so that they could make the final 2. I spent all night with Jake trying to persuade him of ways how he could continue with myself, Jake and Nat still and by telling him Hayden was certain to keep Pete, Sam and JC with him had he not voted Sam out then Jack would be shafted as soon as they reached the final 4 and Hayden would take one of the players who hadn't done as much to the final to secure his win.

After hours of talking Jack was back on side with us and he was persuaded to save Loukas and vote Sam out. Had i not managed to persuade him then that was game over right there and then. We'd have been outnumbered massively. Jack felt quite bad about it all and let slip of quite a few tactics he had and who Haydens group wanted to vote out next etc so i started pm'ing Loukas as i thought he was still a bit of an outsider to try and get him on side, i told him i had solid proof (which i did, but i wouldn't share it with him) that Hayden and his group wanted him out but i'm not sure whether he believed me or not. I also sent Hayden a PM letting him know that the jury would see Jacks move to ditch us and join him as a game changer for him had they made the final together and that they'd probably have sided with Jack and voted for him to win in the hope Hayden would reply back admitting to his plans and just to worry Hayden i was onto him. I shared this with Jack and he also became worried that Hayden was planning to get rid of him.

Jacks side of the deal to join back with myself, Jake and Nat was that he wanted Hayden, Myself, Jake and him to make the final 4 together, i obviously agreed to this and let Hayden know. This was just to secure my place in the game had Hayden won the next HoH even though my intentions were always to put Hayden up the next chance i had. When Jake won the next HoH i was onto him immediately telling him to put Hayden and one of his alliance up, but i knew Jake and Hayden had been talking from the start so it took a bit of persuading, thankfully Nat won PoV and i persuaded her not to change the two up for elimintion. If the plan fails then it's most likely game over for us and Hayden will be onto us if he survives (at this stage votes are still going in)

If Hayden leaves, that leaves myself, Jake and Nat (possibly Jack, depending on his reaction to Hayden leaving) vs JC, Pete and maybe Loukas. I'm confident either myself, Jake or Nat can go onto win the next HoH and stick Loukas and Pete up, This will almost guarantee us with the upper hand in terms of numbers. Jack i can't trust again. Once the numbers are down if i continue to stay in the game then he'll have to be voted out if i get the chance. HoH's are so important now. I need to do my best to win as many as possible and i think i have a good chance. The ideal scenario is that one of Pete or Loukas will be eliminated next (if Hayden leaves tonight) and then the other one who survives is eliminated next. I'd have to work on persuading Jake and Nat but i feel Jack would have to go after them, he may want revenge on me after doing my best to get rid of Hayden who had had plans with. We'll see what happens though.

My strategy, where the hell do i begin?!

I mean In the last 3 to 4 days my game plan has changed like 4063 times! i've gone from trusting people to not trusting people based on 1 PM. No but in all seriousness, My new strategy is to listen to my gut on situations. Whatever anyone else says now i take it with a pinch of salt, i'm never going to say to myself 'this is 100% true, this is 100% false' anymore like i have done before in this game. Every piece of information i receive from now on will be looked at in a different light.

I don't feel as comfortable in my position in this game as i did in week 7, i feel more targeted now than ever have done before. However feel like all the members are targets in eachothers eyes, which makes me feel better.

Oh there really has and most of you know only some of it :devil:

Reading yours and Kate's comments about the game play was the point where i was like i can't trust anyone anymore and now i need to give this game my all or nothing at all. I have a slight feeling Hayden is double bluffing me, theres just so much going on but i don't know what to think anymore!

i know one main thing, i will only feel better if i have some more power, so im gonna fight like never before for the next HoH!

The final 5 was here; Drew, Jack, Jake, Louaks and Pete.

The signs looked obvious that here Drew and Jack would turn on each other, instead Jack shocked the jury again by winning HoH and placing pete and Loukas up for the chop.

With Drew wining PoV it left Loukas and Pete facing off against each other, with Loukas securing the voyes and Pete the last member of the 'other alliance' standing.

The final 4 still could have been anyones game at this stage, all players had made some moves, bad and good, and still had a chance to win over the jury.

Jack finally tried his luck in getting out Drew but again made a fatal error in putting him against Pete and leaving jake as the sole vote.

Things nearly swung back in favour for jack and for Pete in the PoV, but due to a lapse in attention from Pete he lost the HoH to Drew (Pete would have won this otherwise and we would have had a very different final).

This mistake not only cost Pete his place in the game, but also sealed Jack's fate in the next stage of the game...

The first priority at F4 was safety with HoH for me, I knew if I lost it and didn't win the veto there was almost a 100% chance I was being voted out

If I hadn't got HoH and had won the veto, I'd have voted Drew out. I PM'd Pete earlier that day asking him if he won the veto who he would vote out, much to my amazement he told me Jake D: I was counting on him saying Drew since if he had I would have told him if I'd won the veto I would have saved him and made him have the sole vote so long as he'd have voted Drew out

He bizarrely told Drew this anyway despite me insisting Drew was a bigger threat if he won the veto (which he was), but none of this mattered regardless since Drew won another PoV :laugh:

The last HoH was all to play for; winning this secured a place in the final. It was all out war as they were subjected to a video and then tested on it.

They did not know how they were scoring throughout the task, and for the majority of it Jack was leading and looked set to be in the final. But the last few questions were his downfall as he didn;t know the answers leaving Drew to romp ahead and finally get himself to a game final.

There was no doubt he was going to take Jake to the final, Jack had won too many HoH and PoV's to be going up against in the final.


And so Jack became the last member of the jury...
