H I Val Pollard 20.02.14

Emmerdale does always deliver
never dropping down
and tonight's show made green my liver
it was as devastating as "Holly" and the "brown". (drug addiction)
what a story line
the producers are amazing
even if you are "old" and love life in decline
still goes on is silver muff grazing.
you are taken in by "Val's" brash
this lady is full on and so hard
but already i am starting to crash
sympathy goes to both the Pollard.
Eric is a victim
Val did a terrible one night stand
but hopefully he won't contract H.I.V like a vitamin
i am sure there marriage won't turn bland.
so sorry for Eric and Val
but i no some how they will cope
i absolutely adore all of Emmerdale
and as i keep saying, you are by far the best Soap.

( i was gutted after watching last nights show. not only did i feel gutted and so sorry for Eric but creeping into me is my compassion for Val and before you all say it, i no this lady is quite strong and loud and brash and direct and bossy etc etc etc but what makes this world a better place is compassion. or should we not have any ? love it if a few reply's could rhyme. thanks, and catch you later. )

I feel it was important to highlight that it's not just certain groups or generations that are vulnerable to HIV but everyone. This is a delicate subject and I hope it's sensitively handled.

It is only a soap but it is interesting that they have brought this storyline for Val Pollard's character and like Kizzy, I hope they do the content justice.

I cannot however see any time where I would think anyone deserved hiv,no way.

If it was my partner that had cheated and almost given me HIV.. I wouldn't have been so accomodating, after the initial relief had worn off I would have been furious that I'd been exposed.
I can see eric was being sympathetic but it was way OTT.

this happens alot, which is why people married/civil partnership/ in relationships should always use protection. And get tested if trying for a baby. Folk should NEVER trust partner 100%.
