I 100% think DTC would not kill him off screen, not after Kathy , Cindy and Angie that all been killed of off screen. 3 BIGGEST mistakes that EE have done in pass, last was Newman lol

I think he could be in witness protections Or faked his death to avoid getting beat or something, (As We have not seen him die on screen and he only phoned a few weeks ago, when poppy picked up the phone!)

I don't believe that he is dead at all, 95% SURE that he shock us in next 13 months!

i Just put two and two together, I just come up with , Nick that cause Lucy death , as everyone think his dead, then bang, Nick back from the dead 30th live show! tell dot he was him that cause Lucy death! (Not knowing, That dot was about walk into surprise party, when Nick confessed , Nick shock to see all the faces in coming out the next room.

he was well past his sell by date when he returned in 2008-09 but he's one of the original cast members so :/

He's well past his sell-by date, as others have mentioned. His 2008/09 stint and Dotty's poisoning story were particularly awful.

I think he could be in witness protections.

I hope Nick returns and says he was in witness protection.

nick was fantastic at his time - but as the years passed we saw no progression with him - this was EE mistake. they did not evolve the character.

as for the son - looking forward to seeing some new fish and delighted it is not a teenie bopper.
