In theory yeah but in reality the music industry's become a lot tougher since her first run so it's no surprise she's made more of an effort to ensure it did well, reducing the prices in certain places might mean less profit but at least it means more sales.

Lily Allen has lashed out at Katie Hopkins on Twitter once again, after the gobby Apprentice star called her a "short a**e".

The singer slammed her online rival after a magazine tweeted an article with Katie's quote in from her column in The Sun newspaper.

In it, Katie called Lily "a short-a**e mother in big pants," while referring to the video of her dancing in spanx (see below). Which Lily was hardly going to take lying down.

The 29-year-old singer returned to the limelight with a bang last year, after taking time out to look after her daughters with husband Sam Cooper. Her recent album Sheezus features controversial lyrics about fellow musicians, although Lily has openly claimed that her label didn’t release the best tracks as singles.

It’s now been claimed that Lily has parted company with her manager Todd Interland.

“Lily guides her career herself a lot but will need someone new to work with her,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “Todd had been with her for a long time so it was a blow to lose him.

“She’s looking around at the moment for the right person to help her make the correct decisions with her music.”

Lily will go to the Glastonbury music festival in the UK tomorrow. The British singer is a regular fixture at the annual event and has been every year of her life bar one. She will be taking to the stage to perform this year, the 29-year-old's fourth time playing to crowds over the famous weekend.

"I go in hard. I was six-weeks-old the first time I went. I mean I would trade Christmas for Glastonbury," Lily previously told Radio 1's Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw. "I didn't go once. But yeah I've been every year, even when I was preggers."

Lily's joined on the bill by Arcade Fire, Dolly Parton and Metallica amongst other artists on the main Pyramid Stage.

Glastonbury: Lily Allen performs zany set amongst giant baby bottles

Lily Allen took to Glastonbury's Pyramid stage this evening (June 27) for a shortened 45-minute set, which included backing dancers with dog masks and a rant about FIFA president Sepp Blatter.

The 'Air Balloon' singer - who was delayed due to an earlier electrical storm at the festival - debuted a new bright pink and purple hairstyle during her set, which featured giant light-up baby bottles.

She later showed off her matching knickers as she removed the skirt and donned a netted top while ironically twerking to her hit 'Hard Out Here'.

The singer's backing dancers also wore dog masks as she performed the controversial promo single.

A lullaby rendition of the introduction to 'LDN' blared across the Pyramid Stage to huge cheers from the crowd before Allen entered the stage, tearing into the song with the audience enjoying the irony of the lyrics: "Sun is in the sky oh why oh why would I wanna be anywhere else?"

"Oh my God thank ****** for that, the rain stopped," the singer said.

Allen broke the news of her shortened set to the crowd, reassuring them that there's still Elbow and Arcade Fire to look forward to, which did little to silence the boos.

The 'Hard Out Here' star paid homage to her husband and children, who were side of stage, adding "I love y'all so much" before launching into 'As Long As I Got You'.

After a brief outfit change, Allen returned to the stage with four dancers with a short dress and pink veil to play the title track from Sheezus, whipping off the veil halfway through the track.

The dancers returned to the stage wearing golden retriever dog masks for an energetic performance of 'Hard Out Here', which replicated much of the twerking and dance moves from the music video.

Allen produced a pint glass for 'Smile', announcing "Can I have some whiskey in there please?" with the song eventually breaking down into a drum and bass interlude.

She wrestled with her stage outfit throughout the set, sharing with the crowd "I've got a massive wedgie it's ******ing annoying!" and asking "Is my camel toe like, really prevalent yet?"

Allen dedicated her Alright, Still track '****** You' to FIFA President Sepp Blatter.

"I was worried it was going to conflict with an England game in the World Cup," Allen told the crowd, "but that didn't happen."

"Not only because we are s**t," she continued, "but I reckon there's probably a little bit of corruption going on."

She added: "This next song is dedicated to possibly one of, actually not the most corrupt but annoyingly corrupt person there is in the world, Sepp ******ing Blatter you ******."

Prior to England's disappointing World Cup performance, Allen had unveiled her own unofficial tournament song.

'Bass Like Home', written by Kid Harpoon, celebrated all things English and was released as a limited free download.

Final song of the set 'It's Not Fair' saw a projection of gold confetti and a similar dance breakdown to the track.
