The Hard Out Here singer is planning to hit the road with the controversial Wrecking Ball star on her Bangerz tour next month.

Lily, 29, tweeted: "#BBBBANGERZ @MileyCyrus CANT WAIT !!!!!"

She also tweeted a link to a news story about her joining Miley, and repeated its title: "God help us: Lily Allen and Miley Cyrus team up for joint tour."

Lily Allen wins over Latitude crowd during headline set

Lily Allen won over the crowd during her Latitude headline set last night (June 18), after replacing Two Door Cinema Club at the last minute.

After a scorching day in Suffolk, the singer walked out on to the Obelisk Arena singing "sun is in the sky oh why oh why" to her hit single 'LDN'.

"You alright Latitude? Nice to see you," she said to the crowd, greeting the thousands.

Allen then covered Two Door Cinema Club's 'Something Good Can Work', in tribute to the band's cancellation. She also wore one of the band's T-shirts.

"That was a tongue twister and a half that chorus, man," she commented after the performance.

"It's so so last minute this thing - I'm sorry!"

She added: "I'm supposed to be on holiday!"

Allen then performed 'Hard Out Here', before playing 'Smile' with an energetic breakbeat middle 8.

The set also included 'Everyone's At It' with a speedy raving finale, a performance of 'Sheezus' with a hooded top and '22'.

"I'm sorry I'm not Two Door Cinema Club," she apologised. "But I promise I'll give it my all."

Allen rounded off her set with 'Littlest Things', new single 'URL Badman' - complete with orange and green neon bottles - and 'Our Time'.

The star performed a finale of 'The Fear', unofficial World Cup song 'Bass Like Home' and classic hit 'It's Not Fair'.

Damon Albarn, Robyn and Royskopp will play sets at Latitude later today.

I'm so excited for even more new music from Lily. Sheezus was great, and she's one of the few artists that I trust to always deliver.

I'm glad this this time she is actually going into the studio because she feels genuinley inspired and excited to. She's spoken in recent interviews about the fact that she can't wait to work on her next album. I wonder if it's going to be less tongue-in-cheek and parody like as Sheezus? I don't mean the music, because her lyrics are always heavily satirical and that's what I like about them. But I mean the era's theme in general.

X Factor 2014: Lily Allen blasts Fleur East song choice for 'music industry corruption'

Lily Allen has hit out at The X Factor for showing "industry corruption" with Fleur East's song choice.

On Saturday night's show , the contestant performed Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, but the Sheezus singer has blasted the show for using a track which hasn't been fully released yet.

In a series of tweets, she said: "Is this even out yet? #XFactor ... Well done to @sony for managing to get a not yet released song of theirs sung on prime time weekend telly. #uptownfunk #shazam #airplay

"It is an amazing song and Fleur did it justice but it's still a great example of music industry corruption. #uptown funk"

The song was released as a digital-only single on November 10, but it is taken from Mark Ronson's upcoming record Uptown Special, which won't be released until 2015.

The album will be released by Columbia UK who, along with Simon Cowell's label Syco, are part of Sony Music.

Lily quickly dismissed a response from a fan who described her as "bitter", pointing out she had praised "all the artists involved".

She added: "How so when I'm giving props to all the artists involved. (sic)"

However, it now seems Jamie, 33, isn't to leave, and neither is Sam.
