Good call actually, I expected it to be Claudia but I think it could quite possibly be Anton.

Weren't his breaks from the show planned weeks beforehand, don't think it was due to illness

No it was reported on Guardian Media

When you are that fecking old
a simple cold could kill him

The Bloated BBC never planned to have 2 women presenting it.

It went wrong
because Old Brucie got Ill

So get rid of him - is good

He's had a long career, he deserves to relax now. Well done to him for doing it for so long. I'd imagine Vernon Kay would be the likely choice, can imagine them wanting a husband-wife combination presenting it and it would probably be the least painful transition. That or a former male dancer on the show presenting it alongside Tess.

I sort of feel sad that someone who has brought pleasure to and entertained for so long on TV is now likely to not be seen now.

However Bruce Forsyth has it seems had a great and long career at the top as to weekend TV entertainment shows.
He was missing a few shows these last 2 series due to health and it must be really tiring.

Good luck to him,I hope he gets to enjoy good years of retirement now.

or older Graham Norton

It was well overdue!
The old twat was never funny anyway. People just used to laugh at his 'jokes' out of pity.
