Meh, Hollyoaks is crap these days, EastEnders probably deserved it more, since they put effort into turning the show around. Hollyoaks was good once upon a time, but these days it's just ridiculous, the murder rate is probably higher than the rest of the soaps put together.

There was an article showing how ridiculous the death rates are in soaps and Hollyoaks is 6 times higher than the murder capital of the world. :laugh:

I'm neither a 'soap snob' or 'bitter', the only reason Hollyoaks won is because teeny fans launched a campaign to multiple vote, they even gave people a website where they could get hundreds of different e mail addresses each day to do this! There is no way Hollyoaks would have won otherwise...

It isn't rocket science that the two highest rating & most popular soaps would in turn win 'best soap' every year is it...

And my 'precious soap' isn't even part of the soap awards, my favourite soap is Neighbours :joker:

So no, Hollyoaks didn't deserve to win best soap at all, as it clearly isn't the best soap & fans have to resort to cheating for it to win...
