No I actually picked Chemistry for my A Level subject lmao, I just no longer like it, It's so difficult and all of these awful equations argh. This is what my papers look like..

Its definitely a change in lifestyle. I eat a lot more fruit + veg, fish, Ive cut portions and takeaways, switched to wholemeal, skimmed milk, recently no sugar in tea etc. Feel a lot more healthier for it and find I have more stamina.

Im not focusing on weight loss anymore its about toning up now though... crunches, weight lifts and all that. Not gonna lie its tiring I prefer cardio :joker:

..yeah, if you want certain definitions then you have to concentrate more on toning but I agree, cardio is much better for me as well..I don't go to the gym nearly so often as I used to, I was quite obsessive about it a few years ago and then I cut down and hardly go anymore..but I do cycle/walk a lot and in the warmer weather I sometimes run in the mornings...also I bet you find that you can't really eat much unhealthier food now, that you find it doesn't agree with you and that's why it is a healthier lifestyle, your tolerance for the bad stuff just becomes naturally much less so you don't actually want it or crave for it any more or just occasionally...

I completely agree Ammi! I see takeaways and other 'bad foods' as a treat now rather something I crave and need in my diet. When Im at home my parents have takeaways 3 times/week and they dont understand when I opt out and only have it the once or twice (rarely get them at univeristy!). Mum has told me several times that she will take me to the Drs and so I remind her that Im 19 years old and ask will she drag me there? :D I guess I had always been a big child and teenager so now Ive lost nearly 6 stone they see it as something to worry about lol

Sounds like you live in a pretty peaceful and nice area Ammi. Its pretty cool that you have a bike to ride too. I had one but my dad chucked it out his shed one winter without me knowing and it pretty much fell apart :fist: I paid for it as well with birthday money!! :laugh:

got lucky with those 100mph winds. got some flooding and need to clean up tomorrow with all the tree damage. the more crazier stuff barely passed us to the south. had up to 108mph winds. crazy ****. major damage due to hail up to baseball size and the wind in surrounding areas. a few places people had to leave their homes. doesnt sound like no one got seriously hurt at least.

got lucky with those 100mph winds. got some flooding and need to clean up tomorrow with all the tree damage. the more crazier stuff barely passed us to the south. had up to 108mph winds. crazy ****. major damage due to hail up to baseball size and the wind in surrounding areas. a few places people had to leave their homes. doesnt sound like no one got seriously hurt at least.

..haha, it's always funny when you're trying to have 'serious words' with your child and they're around 18 inches taller than you and you're looking up at them..but yeah, I guess your mum is just worried and just trying to get you to eat the sort of things that she has always eaten and genuinely believes are ok and not unhealthy..

..it's funny how my thoughts often work though Jords..I had a friend when I was much younger ..a really beautiful girl but she sadly developed anorexia..as well as being gorgeous and just a perfect shape etc, she was also extremely academically intelligent and her parents hoped that she would 'achieve' and have a great job etc...anyway without realising it, they were putting pressure on her and it's hard enough to cope with the pressures of exams/studies etc anyway which is when she developed anorexia because she felt as though her life was being 'controlled' and then it's that thing of having to have something in your life that you feel you're in control of yourself and food/eating is a big thing...but then of course and understandably as her weight loss started to become worrying, her parents would try to get her to eat and the more they did that, the less she ate because if she ate then it would be giving the control to them/losing what she needed...her parents were lovely people, they just couldn't understand that though..everything they did and how they were was only out of love and to help her and out of concern etc...but sadly they were quite an important part of her illness..how sad, Jords..families etc are so complicated...

..anyway, what you said just reminded me of that only because I think parents always do stuff out of love and advise out of love...

wow thats really quite sad Ammi. I hope the girl recovered and leads a healthy life now. Its definitely something that happens to many people though, which is a shame. Eating is an important role in our lives, something we all HAVE to do and can enjoy, but unfortunately some people do not.

One Direction was... disappointing. It was a good day. I went on the recently-opened Edinburgh Trams, which are stunning! But once I arrived at Murrayfield, I was waiting two hours. I was excited. Once the shoe began, it of course started with the support act, 5 Seconds of Summer, who were good and definitely got the girls excited even though I didn't know many of their songs. One Direction came on at 8.30pm and I knew something was up immediately when Liam opened "Midnight Memories". After the song ended we were told that Harry was ill and struggling. I was really disappointed. Of course, he's my favourite member but if it had been anyone else I probably would have felt the same way. I went to hear them sing and I never got that. I was truly gutted. I can't be angry as no one can help it if they catch a cold, I just wish he had been well enough to sing. It really ruined it for me. I guess I had a good time seeing them and shouldn't be ungrateful but I wanted go hear him sing live. I got to hear Liam and Zayn sing, though. I had been waiting over a year for this and I just felt a little bit gutted and just wanted to go home. But then there was problems with the trains. It was so unorganised. 64,000 who were packed inside the stadium all headed the same way outside. Once we got to the train station we were in a huge crowd of people, just as confused as we were. We missed the last train, as did the thousands of people also waiting. Fortunately, they sent another at 12.00am and we were home for one. I hate Edinburgh, I always have but last night was the last time I ever go there. It sounds silly, but I have a hate for the city that I can't describe. I guess I'll need to buy the tour DVD when it comes out in December and pretend that it was as good as that (assuming the DVD is good, of course).

One Direction was... disappointing. It was a good day. I went on the recently-opened Edinburgh Trams, which are stunning! But once I arrived at Murrayfield, I was waiting two hours. I was excited. Once the shoe began, it of course started with the support act, 5 Seconds of Summer, who were good and definitely got the girls excited even though I didn't know many of their songs. One Direction came on at 8.30pm and I knew something was up immediately when Liam opened "Midnight Memories". After the song ended we were told that Harry was ill and struggling. I was really disappointed. Of course, he's my favourite member but if it had been anyone else I probably would have felt the same way. I went to hear them sing and I never got that. I was truly gutted. I can't be angry as no one can help it if they catch a cold, I just wish he had been well enough to sing. It really ruined it for me. I guess I had a good time seeing them and shouldn't be ungrateful but I wanted go hear him sing live. I got to hear Liam and Zayn sing, though. I had been waiting over a year for this and I just felt a little bit gutted and just wanted to go home. But then there was problems with the trains. ..awww Jonathan..:hug:..I know he couldn't help being ill and not able to perform but that wouldn't mean that you were any less disappointed after looking forward to it for so long and if any of them aren't there, then it isn't really One Direction as such, is it..and especially if Harry's your favourite..and maybe you would have also felt so differently about Edinburgh if you had one magical experience of it but it was just a disappointment and it's not ungrateful at all because I think most people would feel the same...there is nothing that can be done about the concert now, that disappointment will never change but maybe something else will draw you to Edinburgh in the future, something you really want to be there for and a turn into a great experience and dispel your feelings about the city or make them much less of a dislike..I'm so sorry Jonathan, I know how excited you were..:hug:..

I'm taking it out on Edinburgh when it's no one's fault, really. I'm just disappointed. I guess I'll have to go next time and hope I am not disappointed. I just wanted to go home after it, but the crowds in Edinburgh were unbearable especially since they hadn't put enough trains on to cater the amount of people that would be using them.
