They were really pushing this on BOTS last night, even to the point where Judy James turned on Winston saying his argument with her could cost him as Helen is really popular now?? What journey is this then, is anyone actually swallowing that anyone can go into the house and emerge 10 weeks later a completely changed person :hehe::laugh:

All Helens done is managed to keep a bit of a lid on the anger issues she has not because she wants to change but because she doesn't want to get kicked out of the house, you can see it bubbling away under the surface and you can tell she can't wait to let it all out again when BB isn't calling the shots anymore

I agree that Judy James doesn't really seem to read the housemates anymore. Its like she has lost anything she was trained to do. While I totally agree that Helen isn't a totally different person to what she was in those first few weeks I think she has had nicer moments when she has showed emotion and maybe held herself in check a little when certain incidents happen. The only thing I will say about her is that she is really loyal to her friends in there. That doesn't make her a better person to those she doesn't like. I feel that Helen has been hurt ( and probably allowed herself to be hurt) in the past and her first instinct in every situation is lash out and be vile.

I couldn't stand her at the start but I certainly don't hate her anymore and like her or loathe her she has given some class moments (even if they were awful fights) I don't for a minute believe she is more popular than Winston who I think would be a good winner as would Christopher but I guess part of me is willing to give her a chance whethat that makes me a sucker or not I don't know. its just riona's opinion of course x

Well we won't know what sort of fan base she will have.
The problem with the free pass is that there has been little,other than snippets of info from some viewers,to indicate what may happen as to her.

I have no doubt at all that she would have likely gone in eviction battles if nominated or at best amazingly narrowly been saved under vote to evict.
However,in the final, it will be vote to win.
Then it is only those who support her or like her who will be the ones voting for her and how many times they do that and how many they number could be surprising.
I will be one voting for her in the final for sure.

As to her journey, they all have a journey in the BB house,you cannot take yourself away from the world and family and friends and not learn something about yourself.
I was only at Uni but learned day by day different things as to myself, so you must learn more about yourself in the BB house for 10 weeks with people you don't know at all.

There is one thing she has 'controlled' and that is her temper,also the endless spouting of really foul language, so she has demonstrated that if she cannot change,she can at least control some of the more unpleasant sides to her character a fair bit of the time.
That is to be commended,whether it is just controlling it or setting out to change it altogether.

I don't myself believe she is more popular than Winston,I don't believe she will win or even come 3rd either.
However that will depend on those who support and like her,which then with their votes she just might do much better than many think she will in the final.

I do get what you're saying, but housemates go in and what they have done in the past is always brought up, via the press or leaks from people close to them. It's to get more interest in the housemates.

I've never particularly liked her but always enjoyed her as a housemate because she could be hilarious (granted; laughing at her not WITH her) but she's so self obsessed and incapable of taking any kind of criticism, it's pathetic.

I totally agree Kazanne with all of that, I believe she has changed and even in the post I made if the change is only that she can now control her anger more then that is still change.

Although i agree that Helen has come a long way since the start of the series, i'm not going to forget some of her earlier comments (such as; the one she made about s****ing Jesus, calling 2 other HM's fat, personal comments about Matthew's body, giving Jale the nickname Slug, etc.)
I don't dislike her anymore & i think if she hadn't have been in the house, it would have been quite boring. But the reasons i give above ^ are why she isn't a deserving winner.
