Pav won't win. I'd be OK with Ashleigh, Chris, Christopher or Ash winning. I'd have been a bit depressed on Friday if Helen had won. So I put £10 o her to cancel that out...

But now it's like... Pav won't win, I'm still OK with that other 4, but... c'mon... 32/1! Helen to win!!

Yeah she did, she made lots of mistakes. She was a vile bitch, i get it. However in the end she was honest and loyal to her friends %95 of the time and she did stand up and talk. Where was Ashleigh in first 3 weeks? She collected all the information silently then she tried to get one of the least favourite players at that time out. She was nobody at that time and why she suddenly started to fight against helen? Because she was hated.

Yeah this has annoyed me a lot over the last few weeks. As soon as you say anything about Helen it's like "yeah but you Ashleigh fans...!"

I'm not an Ashleigh fan... I wouldn'tt say I'm an "anyone" fan, but in order of who I actually like (not necessarily who I'd like to win... just who I think are half decent people)

So... my top three doesn't include either of them... and Helen's buddy Ash comes above Ashleigh's buddies Chris and Christopher, while Ashleigh comes slightly above Helen.

People just assume it's a decision between the two girls and you're either on one "side" or the other. They're both bitches. I've said in other threads: they have EXACTLY the same personality type, the only real differences between them is that Ashleigh is more intelligent and Helen has less emotional control.

During Girl Power is where she started coming into her own, after Toya's eviction. Showing what a loyal friend she was to Toya she desperately seeked to get Ash out and providing some excellent diary room moments. Without BB spilling all, she would have not incurred the wrath of Helen. However she did not back down from Helen and expertly stood her ground and got a strong fanbase behind her allowing her to triumph over Jale. As Power Housemate she got scum Steven out and despite BB desperately trying to get her out she still prevailed and received no nominations in the final nominations, an incredible turnaround. She also created some long lasting friends in Danielle, Toya, Chris and Christopher.

The fact that Helen and BB failed to get her out speaks volumes.

Yes, Helen has been one of the most entertaining housemates this series but she fails as a person.

Exactly! I don't like Helen, and have kinda gone off Ashleigh. I don't get why everything has become Helen vs. Ashleigh, the majority of threads are about them. I really felt the trial task was just a way to garner stronger support from hardcore Helen and Ashleigh fans to gain more votes for them both, and it seems to have worked. I almost feel like I have to make it clear that I'm not a Helen fan when I criticise Ashleigh and vice versa to show I'm not just biased!

I don't think that amounts to a poor me routine personally. The only time I remember that bully thing is in the conversation with Chris when they were both being positive about her. I don't really remember the conversation though so can't really comment.

I feel that if it were a poor me routine, she'd go to the DR after arguments with her and be like "why does she have to be like that to me all the time? :bawling:" but she doesn't, she goes on the attack, says she can ****** off, etc. Ashleigh wants to be seen as a strong woman, not a victim, in my opinion anyway.

Exactly. Ashleigh and Helen fans both seem to have double standards about the girls' behaviour. There have been instances where they've both reacted in exactly the same way and supporters won't accept that they can both be as good/bad as each other.

They have both "threatened" to smash people's faces in or something along those lines, but in neither case was it an actual threat, just words spoken in anger. If it was a real threat they wouldn't be in there anymore.

They have both bitched about each other and other hms behind their backs. Both of them are two-faced at times, and both say things to people's faces at times.

They both made a sort of truce to be friends half way through the series and both stuck to it for a while. Neither hm "allowed" the other to come into the group or was so gracious to forgive all the others' sins. They were both dicks and it was a mutual agreement.

I don't believe they're the same by any means and of course you can support one but not the other, but in the examples above, they should be judged the same!

Ashleigh out of the equation, Ash is the most deserved winner. He's not changed for any situation, he's stayed friends with people who have been hated by the public as he didn't care, his laid back attitude is wrongly perceived as boring and he's always involved in everything. He also can very naturally get along with every single HM, he isn't fake or contrived when put in situations with HMs he doesn't particularly like and gives them a chance. He was the only blokey bloke in there who respected and gave alot of effort with Chris who otherwise would of been left out of most things.

I do really agree with everything you say, but just can't seem to drum up passion to want him to win for some reason. I reckon he'd be a great friend in there. He hasn't been perfect or anything but he's only human and he's been a good hm. Not sure where "boring" accusations are coming from either.

Like I said, haven't warmed to him enough to want him to win, but definitely in my top 3.
