Hello. Was going to start a topic to tell you all something then thought i'd change it to this so if you have any news etc then you could post in here.

Anyway, on the 12th or 13th December, i'm going to Alder Hey hospital with the cadets. It's a big ceremony for the children who have died there in the past. The kids families will be there, the parents etc and they will give us a tree deceration with the name of there child who has died and we march up, and place the names onto the big christmas tree in the hospital.

It's going to be hard as the families will obviously be devastated, more than likely crying etc but i'm really happy we've been invited to do it as it's a priviledge to be asked to do something like this. Also as my best mate died there of leukemia (sp) 4 years ago so it's going to be wierd, but nice wierd.

Post all your news, anything interesting happening in here.

I performed at Sage Gateshead yesterday; I did a solo of a verse from Penny line. We practised the show from 11 am - 6pm show started and 7 and finished around 10 (so yesterday was a long day.) Also I’m having a band practise on Monday trying to find some gigs.

I’m going to see Mitchell and Webb (stars of peep show) on the 1st December.

9th of December I’m off to Ireland, for my grandma and granddads 50th wedding anniversary.

Also in the last summer hols (I don’t think mentioned this) I had an oppo on my toe and its all better now.

and also I found out I have a half sister (I found out in summer hols and haven’t got round to telling you) anyway she’s called Caroline aged 21 and my dad told me and my bros while on hols... she lived in Germany but now lives in Spain as she is training to be a translator she can speak German, Spanish and English (in an American accent as she stayed in America for a year so she says Y'all a lot )

Don't listen to what anyone else says about your sister. You know she isn't a slag, and that's what matters. They are petty and immature, and you should rise above it.

Don't let it upset you. Be happy for your sister, and for the new baby coming. To hell with those who want to gossip. If I lost sleep over everyone who ever said anything nasty about me, I would lose a lot of sleep. I don't give a fcuk what people say now, and that's the only way to be.

Congrats to your sister.. hope it all goes well for her! x

She wont lose it that easily Sophie. Don't worry. Believe me, I had some major stress both times I was pregnant, and it didn't affect the baby. I know you are worried, but just as long as she looks after herself, she will be ok.

And, she is not the first 17 y/o to get pregnant, nor will she be the last. Stupid kids who wanna make a big deal out of it ought to think about where they might be when they are 17 first!

It will all die down soon Soph. It's a bit like that where I live, cuz it's a small place and everyone knows each other, so therefore think they are entitled to gossip about others. But, once something else comes along to yak about, they will stop saying stuff bout your sister. The only reason it's so bad just now, is cuz the news is new.

Give it a week or so and it will be old news. Then you can concentrate on what's important... her and the baby.

Bullying is a problem everywhere, and I agree that not enough is done by the schools or the teachers to address it. There is a bullying problem in my kids' school and it's never taken seriously. There is also one at my neice's school (in a different place) and again, it's not dealt with. There are many children moving schools because they have been bullied. That is just wrong in my opinion. It is the bullies who should be moved... not the children who have suffered enough.

I teach my children to stand up for themselves so that they wont get bullied. They know how to hit back and how to do it without being seen, because in school the rules say they cant hit back. Well, I beg to differ. I live in a particularly "rough" area, and the only way to deal with some of these little chavs is to hit back!

I think it's a wise decision to wait until everything's clear before you tell people. I guess that's why you're keeping it quiet.

I know how worrying it is when your kids are sick though.. you would rather be unwell yourself than have them suffer. Poor wee beggars..

I feel the need to tell you all that i have just spent 1 hour and 20 mins trapped inside a cardboard box.

I got in it for fun, but then my sister trapped me inside with duck tape and I was unable to escape. At first it was fun, but soon it lack of space (and oxygen) got to em and I slowly started to sink into madness. It was when I started to sing the theme to 'Deal or No Deal' that a realized that enough was enough and I had to get out. I escaped by piercing a hole in the cardboard and kicking. I was so happy to be free, but scrunched up in such a small area for that length of time meant that I was unable to work my legs for about 2 mins which was very scary.

Anyway, I’m out and I’m healthy.

I did something that I still consider to be trivial but it got blown out of proportion, so I had no friends for the best part of the 3 weeks. I mean, I really loved having no-one to go to lunch with, and I adored having nothing to do at weekends, and the best part just had to be getting slammed into in the corridors. I mean, really.

Tonight I have a party.

It's my nan and grandads Golden Anniversary, the 50th. And we've organised this big party with all the family, but nan doesn't know. She thinks she's just going out for a meal with my parents to celebrate. Big shock she's gonna get.

Well done Chris!

And Lauren, I just realised you'll be like dead near Blackpool and places like that as well. If not the south for me, that's where I'd want to go!

Lucky you!

I'm dead jealous, that you're past all that stress now and are going to uni...
